Working with Louis Teque to purchased my first home we can't say enough good things about the man, he is hard-working, dedicated to his profession as well as trustworthy, which is most important in my book. Are home search wasn't as perfect as We would have expected it to be from the very beginning there many bumps in my road the the main one was I had been working with a different agent before. My first agent kept taking us to homes and coincidentally we kept running into Louis, (my wife even went as far as the calling him a stocker, witch he wasn't ) my wife and I ended up dropping our old agents because of our newborn child was right around the corner we decided to focus on our child's birth more than anything we let some time pass . Months later we called up our old agent again after seeing a few other homes we still kept seeing Louis. We finally had a talk with him and one of his open house give me his card and without being pushy he he told me I will find the home of your dreams in about a month . I told my wife we should go with this guy he seemed to be what we need in a realtor, she was a bit hesitant but at the end she didn't feel comfortable . Some time passed so we went to another open house with are old realtor, we saw the home and we knew we had to get this house. We tried to put in an offer with our old realtor but as luck would have it nothing went through because it was a private listing. Are realtor told us that they were going to try and put in the offer but since it was a private listing they would not know if it would get excepted but as luck would have it nothing went through. Once again we ran into Louis it was his open house we spoke some more and that was it a few days later the home was pending and we were out of luck. Three weeks passed and we continue to drive by the home our luck hasd changed because the home came back up for sale we immediately contacted Luis and with in a few hours we were in his office signing papers. We went through Wells Fargo for our home mortgage which took about three weeks of paperwork and in the end nothing went through. Just when we thought we were going to lose our home We contacted a different Bank and went through some paperwork the lender then assured me that we would be able to get the loan if we were to start the paperwork. We immediately started fresh with the new lender, Timewise we were already falling behind. Long story short it took a little bit over three months for us to close escrow. Between those three months there was a lot of delays, a lot of issues mainly from the lender but every time Louis was able to reinsure the sellers and keep them call to buy her some more time so our lender would be able to do whatever he needed to do to close the deal. We feel that because of the Louis continuously calming the seller down and ensuring them everything was going to come out OK and his constant assertiveness towards the lender to get things done was the reason why we got are dream home . We were working with a Century 21 All Stars agent when we started looking to buy our first home. Let me tell you guys ...(It was such a nightmare). I really felt like I was the one doing ALL the work. I would look for houses to go see and there was always an excuse on why we shouldn't go see them or put offers to the houses "we did go see and liked". Our previous agent would only take us to go see the houses Century 21 was selling and pressure us to put offers. We encountered Teque on a FEW open houses we went to go see. ( I thought he was stalking my husband and I) One of our encounters was at the Fracar Ave house ... My husband and I fell in total LOVE with that house. We wanted that house and wanted to put an offer right away and again the agent we were working with said WE COULDN'T (it was a private listing through Realty World Campero)... so we kept looking, yet we always compared houses to the one we fell in love with. We found out the Fracar Ave house was no longer available, we got frustrated with our agent for not finding anything better than that house...so we just decided to take a break from looking at ugly over priced houses. A month went on and we received an alert through Redfin that the house was back on the market. We dropped our agent and called Teque that same day. That same day He made THINGS happen. Since it was "his" private listing, he took us under his wing and called the bank he works with, we got pre approved right away... we were half way done when our loan didn't get approved with Wells Fargo..... but he managed to get the sellers to give us a chance and try with Cathay Bank whom we were initially working with at the beginning of our first home purchase. The process did take a bit longer than we thought, do to us starting paperwork all over again. but Teque always kept us calm and always reassured us through the whole thing. I don't believe there is enough space here for me to truly express how extremely fortunate my husband and I feel for finding Louis. It was definitely God who lead us to him. We had a friend realtor that we were working with for almost a year. We barely saw any houses and I found myself doing all the leg work even though I had no idea what I was doing. We then started working with someone who was highly recommended by a friend and again, he told us to select what we were looking for in a house and gave us a website that would update us daily. We were so disappointed. My husband one day was walking with the baby and he stumbled upon a cute house he liked for us and decided to call the number on the flyer. Louis spoke to my husband and the rest is history. From the moment we met Louis, we right away got a god vibe. I was impressed on how professional he looked because that's one thing Louis has, he looks SHARP 24/7. I appreciated that because he made us feel like he was serious about his work and that we were important business. Within the very first meeting with him, my husband and I learned so much! Louis and his partner Chelsie (gorgeous person inside and out) were phenomenal! If only I could truly share everything...man! They took us to see a ton of houses the first time and later we realized that it was a way for him to really get to know what we were looking for. Louis showed us many, many houses and I started feeling worried and guilty, I was afraid he was thinking we were high maintenance, but he quickly put that worry to rest. He AWLAYS made us feel that we were normal to not love all those houses we saw. He is extremely patient, understanding, motivating, and hustles like no other. We had our budget and we felt discouraged with the high market and what the houses in that price range looked like. Little did we know how awesome this guy was. He doesn't settle for your price range, no way, he goes way higher BUT before even showing us the houses, he had already pre-negotiated the price to meet our range. We did start our house hunt in the toughest times, summer. We kept getting outbid, but Louis always encouraged us and told us we would find the one. He would tell me with such confidence that I could feel and see in his eyes that he meant it. He was so sure that it made me feel sure we would find the one. At one point we were in escrow and to be honest, I didn't love the house, my husband loved it, but there were too many things that I worried about with this house. I said ok because I just felt like maybe it was me that I was expecting too much. I couldn't sleep, I cried on my way to work and I finally broke down to my husband and told him I didn't want the house. I felt embarrassed with Louis, but when my husband told him, Louis answered with "Oh ok, no problem, back to the drawing board, we will find the right one you both love." How amazing was that? That made me feel so happy and I was so excited to start over. I think what worried me the most is that all this time and I thought he was probably losing money because he was working with us. Little did I know that he had a ton of clients. I saw on his Instagram how many houses he was closing every single week! You see, that is just how good he is. He makes you feel like you are the ONLY client he has. I still have no idea how he did it because I felt he was always with us...haha. We have immense respect for Louis and when we decide to buy again in the future, there is absolutely no doubt that we will go with him. We love him as a friend. Did I mention how terrible our kids were every time we went to see a house? They ran like mad kids! Louis and Chelsie interacted so cute with them and they helped us watch them while we looked at these houses. The baby would cheer when he would see Louis while parking. LOL! So you might be wondering, did they find the one? Man, not only did we find the one! But it has everything we were looking for and MORE! We worked with his lender because they offered us a better deal than the one we were working with. They were amazing!! Every step of the way, Louis will hold your hand and guide you. He will even text you from Cancun! He's always on the clock. He has your best interest. We once saw a beautiful house, but the neighborhood was kind of sketchy. On our way home, he called us to tell us that he didn't think this area was good for our kids. He didn't feel comfortable. On another house I loved, it would have been an easy sell to us, he told us again he didn't believe it was in our best interest. In retrospect, he was so right and I appreciate that so much now. Long story short, Louis is the man! Even after buying our house, there were little issues here and there and he took care of it!
