LV just recently moved to Southdale Mall from their most previous location in the Galleria. They literally moved 2 days ago. Gorgeous space of 3 oversized rooms. I didn't have an appointment so I checked in at the entrance and strolled around the store while I patiently waited for an associate to check out a bag I've been eyeing. They have lots of fragrances to check out and the cutest little coin purses. I mean LV is just timeless, classic, and gorg styles. Mat (LV associate) was extremely helpful and even though I was 99% sure on what I wanted ...he did a great job showing me other options just in case. He also made my first purchase from LV extra special by providing me with a glass of champagne as I was celebrating my upcoming birthday! I have been a client for several years, back when the store was located in the Galleria. The new space in Southdale has been an upgrade from the previous location. I have received nothing but excellent service whenever I am in store. My husband and I are always greeted by name and receive the best care. My client advisor is Viola and she is nothing short of amazing! She consistently keeps me informed of new product and gives us the utmost care and attention in store and via text. Returns are exceedingly difficult, staff is extremely friendly and helpful when you are buying and the complete opposite if you are attempting to make a return or exchange. Don't shop here unless you are beyond certain of what you are getting because any return or exchange will be a difficult task met with rudeness. read more

Menchie was beyond helpful when I came in today with my mom to get her purse zipper repaired and to get a new tag for her purse. This LV is quite a bit smaller than other stores I've been to and it's a bummer it's the only location in MN but if you're coming in to shop, you should ask for Menchie! Went on a whim. The entire experience took an hour from wait to exiting the shop. This is the only LV in all of Minnesota. The location is in Edina, in a higher end sort of mall. The Galleria. It was smaller than most LV I've shopped at. There's loads of parking though! Upon entering, you are greeted by a client advisor. They help you with any questions you may have. Menchie was kind and extremely helpful. They didn't have my bag or shoes that I wanted, but I was informed that they could order it and I'm still on the fence, as I'm here temporarily. There probably isn't enough time before I leave. I'll swing by one more time before leaving. I wanted to add that I dressed quite shabby casual in jeans and a t-shirt today. I wasn't ignored or made to feel lesser than. If anyone feels intimidated, ask for Menchie. She is a star! She treated everyone with respect and did her best to help regardless if the person/people ended up purchasing. Find a good person to work with and you'll have a great experience! read more

The staff welcomed me and assisted me in finding the product I was looking for. I was in and out of the store in a timely manner.

I stopped in back in August, looking like just crawled out of a hole (it was hot, and we were out and about all day). The door was roped off and there was an employee controlling entry into the shop. They let us in with no hesitation and let us browse a bit before jumping in to ask if we needed help. I always feel like I am going to get the "Pretty Woman" experience when I go into high-end stores, and it was quite the opposite. We worked with a lovely gal named Menchie. She was wonderful, telling me about each bag I was pointing at, and encouraging me to take a closer look. We chatted about life, and how I would be using the bag, and she made suggestions accordingly. She even let me put all my crap from the bag I was carrying into "the one" I was looking at. We took pictures, we compared a few, and generally had fun admiring the beautiful goods. I couldn't risk spending the money at that point (uncertainty of covid), so I didn't end up purchasing anything that day. She was very nice about it, did not make me feel like I wasted her time and did not seem annoyed to miss out on a commission (I assume they work on commission, at least partially). Hopefully the world will be back to semi-normal soon again, and I can feel comfortable with a splurge. I will be back to the LV Galleria location to see Menchie! read more

I'm gonna start with the usual, IF I could give this "Zero Stars" I would 100%! It's hard to sum it up. First I dropped my suitcase off POST COVID for a handle repair. It took 9/10 months! I called several times "inquiring about the status/location" of my suitcase. I had someone call me back "Claiming he WAS THE MANAGER" and this was his "PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBER" if I needed anything. "GEORGE was the MANAGER"! Except he wasn't. He is "supposedly" an associate, MAYBE "Assistant Manager" I don't know? (I still don't know) So supposedly the REAL MANAGER is MARCUS? Long story short, I told them that I would be coming in for my suitcase in five days. They had five days to get my suitcase at the Edina location. I knew after five days when I was going to go in there, that I would expect that I would sue them for my lost vintage Louis Vuitton 28 inch Pullman suitcase. Lo and behold, I went there and the suitcase was there. I told the supposed, manager, Marcus, thought I would be there. Guess what? He wasn't there when I came because he was at home sick! I was visiting the Minneapolis area, and decided to visit this store to see if they had anything that my local stores do not carry/have in stock. (a lot of times an item is unavailable online, or a store will tell you it's completely sold out in every store - don't believe it! You just have to work for it) I came to this store looking for the Favorite MM in monogram - Sadly, they did not have it. I instead decided to get the monogram card holder. As I was waiting for the SA to wrap it up I noticed they had the colored Kirigami sitting in a display case. When the SA came back I asked her if they had them in monogram. She said yes, we do. She opened a drawer and out came the monogram Kirigami (https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/products/pochette-kirigami-monogram-nvprod620081v) I was so shocked they had it, as it is unavailable online, and my local SA in San Francisco told me they stopped selling them. I was told the ones I purchased had been a "special order" (whatever that means), and the person did not want them. Either way win for me! I purchased them, and I could not be more happy. Overall the store SAs were very friendly! Chatted with my Mom and Sister while we waited. One of them was new, so didn't know a lot about the products, but not her fault as she is still learning. I purchased a bag and nearly a month later I have yet to receive it. I was finally advised the bag was not in stock anywhere any they have yet to refund my money. I called corporate and was advised the store has to issue the refund. At this point it's theft because it doesn't take a month to refund my money for a product that was never in stock. We know about the product, but this review is all about the high-level and outstanding service provided by Service Associate, Reed E. If you read my other reviews, you'll know that customer service rivals and sometimes beats the food/product. Today I was just browsing and dressed down for the weekend, but that didn't stop Reed from treating me with respect and valued. While looking at cell phone and iPad covers, I spied with my shopping eye the customizable passport covers. Reed confirmed with a coworker that there are over 2,000,000 different color combinations! Considering how many pairs of glasses I own, this could be my Waterloo! My day was filled with horrible customer service experiences. I won't name names, but it included Macy's Giftware at Southdale, Tumi at the Galleria, Target and a late crappy dinner at Wendy's (Yes, I should know better, but it was late). The sales associate at Macy's was lucky I didn't catch her name, but I had to walk away from her inability to grasp the concept of a simple one-for-one exchange. But I digress. That's why Reed's about-and-beyond outstanding service was like a breathe of fresh spring air in Minnesota. I wish LV corporate would read these reviews once in a while, because a lot of people have the same complaints about their customer service experience here. Apparently you have to "look" like you have the ability to afford items here before any customer service person will give you good service. So, I'd recommend to everyone to dress like a million bucks when you go here. Then maybe you'll get the service you deserve. I mean, I was ready to lay down over $1000 for a handbag for my wife, but apparently wearing jeans and a $20 shirt made me look like I didn't have a dime to spend, so I was basically ignored. I left the store and never went back. Luckily I knew which handbag my wife wanted, so I was able to find it online at another LV store in a different state, and it was shipped to me. All I will say is that when we walked in here intent on buying a backpack, all four of the salespeople talked between one another, staring at their phones and sipping coffee. None of the four ever said hello or made an effort to acknowledge our existence, even when we walked around in a couple circles around the store looking at bags, being the only customers in the store. Last week I was in Minneapolis for our annual corporate meetings. I stopped at LV to find my better half a Christmas present. She really wanted the Sac Chien 50 (Dog Carrier). Unfortunately there were only 4 left in the entire United States. Working with Kambiz Beyzavi, he made arrangements to have one transferred from another location, and upon arrival he shipped to my office in Georgia in time for Christmas! I have been shopping at Louis Vuitton for years and they have always prided themselves on customer service, but the service that I received from Kambiz at this location was above reproach! She is excellent at her sales- on point, even when checking out, majority of sales of this world of retail would just stop after the process of checking out- she is something different, she would still talk about the product, gives you tips- even if you didn't ask for it, a talent in polishing her colloquy style. My husband and I r vacationing and everyone here in Minneapolis has been beyond kind, but the experience to this store was-initially-horrid. I left thinking that being a jerk must be a requirement for employment. In fact, I was so irritated that I went back to the store to return the purse I had just purchased. Fortunately, the manager (Megan, I believe) intercepted and was friendly and helpful, unlike her subordinates the night prior. Not only did I upgrade my purse but left feeling content about the store holistically. All of the incident happened before COVID-19. Every time I visit this location I always had terrible experience. I went in the store to pick my my shoes that I ordered..I walked in no one was saying anything to me they act like I wasn't there, couple mins later a white lady walk in to return something they was so fast to greet her and help her right away. I waited a good 30 for them to finally help me and get my shoes and I couldn't wait to get out of that store. One month later I want to give them another chance, so I took my bother from out of town to shop for a wallet and a belt. Keep in mind i wouldn't go in to this store if I don't want to buy I already what I want. We got the belt and the wallet paid for and everything before we left, I asked and showed them pictures if they have the purse I want in store that I can look and see if I really like it in person the sales associate that were helping us said she don't have it but then other sales associate over heard me asking he told her they got one I stock that I can see. They always pick and choose their customers. If you look like you don't have money they won't greet you or help me and tell you they don't have the item in store and have to be on waiting list. Also, I remember in December of 2019 I really wanted this on purse the ( multi Pochette ) I was told to put my name and cards down for waiting list, I did what they told me till today I never got a email or phone call that they got the purse for me. A week ago I asked the SA in California that I used to work with if they have the multi Pochette in stock, three days a go he told me they got one in shipment and he said he can ship it to me because he already have my information on file. This is why I don't go back to this location anymore I only order my stuff from my SA in California they're way better than This location, SA pick and choose who they want to sell to like they're think they Hermès store nah far far from Hermès. I been to Europe many time and shop at all of the high end designers and I never treated bad like LV store in MN. I am a huge fan of Louis Vuitton and have always enjoyed my visits here. I typically only go in when I'm in the mood to purchase something of if there is an item I've seen on line that I want to take a closer look at. Every associate I've worked with have been nice and attentive, even on the visits where I was just browsing. Recently I made purchases while out of town but put in a replacement part order to be sent to the Edina store. I received a message telling me it was in but it was unclear from the message if the item was in the other store or Edina. I called the other store and could never get a person on the phone. I called the number left with the message and received no return call. I happened to be near the Galleria so I thought I would go in and see if someone could assist. Although they did not take the original order, the SA called over a manager to assist. To our surprise they had the exact spare part I was looking for!! They could have easily referred me back to the original store so as to be more likely to make a sale (especially because the store was full with a long line was outside). I've read reviews of poor service but that has never been my experience (regardless how I was dressed). read more

I went in to buy a perfume bottle. (I was in Vegas in May and liked a perfume at LV, didn't get it there. The experience in Vegas was awesome) I didn't have a bad experience while buying my perfume. They were busy, at one point I wanted to leave because they were that busy. The manager Michael came to assist me as I was getting ready to leave. I ended up purchasing the perfume (they didn't have it in stock). A few days later, I went into pick up my order. One lady helped me with my online order. I also wanted to see a couple of bags. I stopped into Louis Vuitton at The Galleria on a bustling Saturday afternoon. I came to the store in search of a smaller wallet that I could easily fit in my front pocket for my busy on the go lifestyle. Reed E. immediately greeted me and inquired about what I was looking for today. I explained that I was looking for a smaller wallet and he brought me back to the Men's counter and proceeded to show me several options in their Pocket Organiser (yes, this is the correct spelling of the piece). Reed was very professional, patient, and was not pushy at all. I ended up choosing the Pocket Organiser NM in Classic Monogram Canvas. My entire experience at this store was hands down phenomenal and I even spotted something on the way out that I will most definitely be coming back for! read more

Purchased a handbag with extra strap in Scottsdale store. Had shipped to my home in iowa. After receiving one week later I unboxed it and noticed that when I attached the strap it was too wide and was falling off my shoulder. Had not noticed this in the store when purchasing. Loved the bag but wanted to return the strap. This bag and additional strap was never used. I'm only 2 hours of msp store so took the bag and strap there the following week when I had my first day off 13 days after I purchased it. Since the pink strap really set off the bag I did look around the store to make sure I didn't want another pink handbag to Exchange. I decided to keep the handbag and just return the strap. I was told by the manager they could do nothing for me. No money back or store credit as the strap had a small stain. I was shocked. As I've purchased no less than 15-20 handbags before and always have them shipped to my house. Not knowing if they ship to you with any small imperfection your stuck. He then told me they would never ship out something like this that has damage. I again told him I just unboxed this. This is how it was sent to me. When I didn't even notice it when I received it. I assured him to check my records As I've purchased Many items and never had this problem. He said again I can't do anything. Maybe try calling the store you bought it at. So I did that today and was told to bring it in next week when I'm in town and they will look at it. This is just crazy to me. Sadly this will probably be my last Louis Vuitton purchase. read more
