I had a very disappointing experience with Louis Vuitton's customer service. I brought in a bag that had never been used and had not even left its box. Immediately upon inspection, I felt profiled. The associate quickly claimed the bag had been used and pointed out what they described as a "water mark." I explained that the bag had never been used. To justify their claim, they brought out another bag to compare the two -- yet there was no visible difference between them. In fact, the manager even asked which bag was mine because she herself could not tell the difference. Despite that, they maintained their position. As a customer spending this level of money, I expect professionalism, fairness, and respect -- not assumptions. The entire interaction felt dismissive and discriminatory. Luxury brands should provide luxury service, and unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. I recently visited the Louis Vuitton boutique at The Mall at Millenia on July 28, 2026, while on vacation. I purchased my Passport Cover directly from Louis Vuitton and have been collecting the city-exclusive hot stamps as souvenirs from my travels. When I asked about getting the Orlando hot stamp, I was told it would take 3-5 days to complete because only one person at the boutique is trained to perform the hot stamping service. Since I was leaving Orlando before then, I wasn't able to have it done. The sales associate also told me that all Louis Vuitton flagship stores in the U.S. now have the same umbrella stamp and that I could visit any flagship location and receive the exact same design. That didn't sound right because I had previously received the Nashville guitar hot stamp. After my visit, I researched it further and found numerous recent examples of other flagship stores continuing to offer their own city-exclusive hot stamps. This left me confused because I made a special trip to this boutique expecting accurate information about Orlando's hot stamp. What disappointed me most was the lack of clear communication and the inconsistent information I received. I specifically visited this boutique for the hot stamping service, only to learn it required a 3-5 day turnaround and that only one associate was trained to perform it. I believe customers should be informed of these limitations before making a special trip. As a longtime Louis Vuitton customer, I expect accurate information and a more consistent client experience. I love the expansion that they've undergone this year, but even prior to that this location has offered some of the best Customer Service I've ever experienced with this brand. I enjoy going to different locations and buying small pieces as souvenirs for my travels, but this is my home location. Anytime I see something online even if it's not from their site the concierge's have been able to find it for me or let me know if it's truly unavailable or not a piece offered by the brand. If it is available from another Boutique, they can order it for me and have a ship to the store or home and sometimes we'll even let me know when the new pieces come in that I'm looking for in my style. Only thing I don't like about Louis Vuitton is their leather as it's made with canvas and the plaster they use is thick but wears off over time pretty easy when compared to other brands. I purchased a men's leather bag (pictured below) on 9/27/21 and 9/30/21 I noticed that the black paint on the LV on the right side of the front of the bag was coming off. On 10/8/21 I went back to the LV store to return the bag because that should not be happening to a $2300 leather bag. My sales rep. stated that he doesn't know why that happened and that I must have rubbed it against something. I stated to him I have only worn the bag for 2 days and it was to my office. Not sure how I can rub it against something. Then he stated it could be something defective with the bag. He offered to take a photo and send the photo in for review. He told me it will take no more than a week. I made sure to ask about the 30-day return policy cause it was getting close to 30 days and he said not to worry about it. I reached back to him on 10/22/21 that's 15 days from the day I went into the store to return my bag and his response was "Sorry I was on vacation and I should've communicated with my team about your issue, I will be back to work in the morning and I will have an answer for you". I got a message on 10/23/21 stating that the quality assessment systems are down and he will let me know when they come back up. On 10/24/21 same text message stating systems are still down. I reached out on 10/30/21 because I haven't heard anything and I have an expensive bag sitting in a box in my closet that I cant use until I hear back. On 10/30/21 I got a response stating systems are still down. Things happen so I wasn't getting upset about it. Today I get a message stating that they got feedback from their team and that determined that it wasn't defective. I'm upset because this isn't a cheap bag that I bought and if I did scratch it or do something to it I would've blamed myself for it and got it fixed, But not after only having it for 3 days and you can see the paint coming off. I just want a return my bag at this point because I'm not happy with the customer service and quality. I once bought a purse for someone who would one day be an ex and it still bothers me on the expense... This bag was over $2200 I was thinking it shouldn't be doing this so I remembered Kraig had made contact with me a week or so after my purchase letting me know if I ever needed help with anything to contact him, so I did I first made contact on a Saturday he didn't respond until the next day stating he could send a shipping label so I could return the purse & exchange it for a new one. I responded Yes I wanted that, but there was no response from Kraig until days later where he then stated to confirm my email & home address well after I did he thumbs up the response & has yet to send a shipping label or contact me at all. Kraig was very excited to make the sale but reluctant to help me at all resolve my issue with the broken snap on my strap & he knows that I'm not from Orlando & purchased this purse on vacation there isn't a Louis Vuitton store in my area so it's been difficult to figure out what to do this was suppose to be a happy moment my first Louis Vuitton bag I hope this isn't the quality of their products I've called the store several times & no one ever answers. I bought a purse a year ago from this same store. I live in Canada so I'm not close to any Louis Vuitton store. A month after my chain broke on my bag and we were returning to this same store (Florida) the following March. When we returned we were told that there would be a fee of $390 because of the time frame. The manager said, "if you bought the bag a month ago we would fix it".
