would give zero stars if that were an option. I saw Dr. Bobo in the OB/GYN office, and it was the most disappointing medical experiences I have ever had. When Dr. Bobo entered the room, the first thing he wanted to do was a breast and pelvic exam, despite the fact that I had already informed the nurse that this was not the reason for my visit and that those exams were not needed. Rather than listening to my concerns, I felt dismissed throughout the appointment. The issues I came in to discuss were minimized and described as not really necessary, and I left without any answers, guidance, treatment plan, or meaningful discussion about the symptoms I had been experiencing. When I told him I've been dealing with infertility for 8 years and I'm wanting answers, he told me "answers aren't really necessary, you can just do IVF" I informed him we couldn't do that option due to costs. My father was recently taken to this ER via ambulance because he was having a medical emergency and we were told that our choices were Lourdes or a different hospital. We chose Lourdes because we thought it was the better option. However, we were wrong. He has a history of stroke and heart attack. We thought that he had had another stroke because he could not walk, was confused and kept saying something was wrong. He arrived via ambulance; my mother and I arrived a little after he did. When we walked into the ER, the woman behind the counter was asleep in her chair. We had to bang on the counter twice to wake her. The care my father received was below subpar. They took his blood, did an EKG and a CT scan. The doctor said everything looked fine and he needed to see his primary doctor. However, he could not walk. We were advised to get him a walker, and then he was released. We later took him to his primary doctor, who looked at his scan from Lourdes and said it looks like he had another stoke and needs an MRI. Why he was not consulted with neurology or at least told that they did not have a neurologist there to see him is beyond me. These people did not seem to care that there was something wrong with my father and that he could not walk, when less than 24 hours before, he could. read more

My husband is a patient there right now. The care at night is THE WORST. Today is the 20th of March 2026. at 10.36 pm. His day nurses are great, but the night nurses need a spy to show how they neglect patients. He has cancer and other issues and has much pain from a failed operation there 31 days ago. He is in much pain. He has slight autism and his door is shut. He is 75 years old. He is on the cancer unit. I would never leave a loved one alone ever at night there. I can not believe they are letting him suffer like this, but I am giving you fair warning. Weird because I loved this hospital until last night and tonight. worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. the nursing staff is having a full on mukbang over stories repeated so loud with foul language and blatant unprofessionalism. this was by far the worst healing environment ive ever seen. All the staff are just trying to get through their day. My girlfriend who had just been in a car accident got taken to x ray and I asked a group of 4-5 nurses and they very slovenly replied uhhh idk. When I got there everyone was slow moving. Just sitting there like they had nothing to do! The nurse never came back to tell me if I was being admitted into treatment. They do not take care of you, the doctor yelled at me. I had two policemen on me for specking my mind as I told them "I can calm down on my own" they still gave me a shot to calm down which was never needed if they just left me alone like I asked because they lied on me for being "disrespectful" and hurt my stomach in the process, which I am pregnant. read more

I would go to a veterinarian before I would go here. The patient appears to be the least of their concern. My father was here last summer and our family was shocked at how poor the care was. It looks like a failing hospital struggling to stay open and I see why they are struggling. I do recommend Baptist Health in Paducah, Totally different experience. read more

God awful communication. Went for ultrasound and sat for hours only to be told should reschedule after 3hrs of waiting.

Do not take your loved ones to this hospital. Worst service ever. I went as someone detoxing and they did absolutely nothing for me. They wouldnt call my emergency numbers or anything. My emergency contact tried to reach me and they wouldn't even tell me. It is truly a death hospital. read more

I went to emergency room.Was taken back very quickly.Also the nurses and doctor took very good care of me. I was admitted to 7th floor and had the best care anyone could get .All the nurses were great but the one that took care of me the first night went out of her way to care for me.Her name is Amber,she ran her legs off all night.The Doctors I had were the best!!!! I have been in hospital in Nashville and Chicago.I've been with family that was in hospital in Houston and St Louis, the care from all of them doesn't compare to Lourdes.Thank you to all that took care of me there read more

Do not go to their sleep study lab. I had my sleep study Sept 14th and still can't get my results. Oh yes they called last week wanting their money, which I paid, but still can't get my results so I can order my CPAP. Go to Baptist Health but stay away from Mercy Health. They claim their doctor Hogancamp is running 5 weeks behind! read more

Ohh No! Christmas in Physical Rehab? Lourdes Physical Rehab was my home for 2 weeks. Considering my circumstances it was an excellent experience. The doctor kept a close eye on all the injuries I had. The therapists were friendly and motivating. They helped me change from almost totally helpless to a functioning semi-mobile person in 2 weeks. The nurses and caregivers took great care of me. It was a long lonely time but their friendly helpful attitude made it much more bearable. On Christmas Eve a group of therapists had a Christmas parade. They wore Christmas outfits and decorations and walked the hall playing Christmas songs on a portable radio. They visited each room where they sang a Christmas carol and gave a gift basket. I can't tell you how much that Christmas parade meant to me in that moment. Hospital food sure has changed. You choose from a menu now with a lot of choices for breakfast, a couple of choices for lunch and dinner, and (this is the best part) sandwiches, a hamburger, or pizza is always available if you don't like the other choices. All these people spent time away from their families during the Christmas holidays to help me. They did it during an epidemic. They did it willingly and with a great attitude. I don't recommend spending Christmas in rehab but if you must you'll get great care here. read more

My Mom went into the the Lourdes ER on the Day after New Years Day which is considered a holiday this year. I wheeled her in and by the time I had parked my car, she was in an ER room, had an RN and two aides assisting her and getting her ready for a doctor. Within an hour, two doctors had already seen her and she shortly after that she had a CAT scan and an x-ray. She had a seriously diseased gall bladder. Only four hours later, after review of her scans, etc., she was in surgery. The nursing staff and ER doctors were awesome. Her surgeon on call, Dr. Maurterer was exceptionally personable and efficient. Given the circumstances, this was an extraordinarily positive experience! read more
