During these interesting times we live in this place can be abrupt with service. It is small and…read morethere is almost always a wait on the stairs going up to their door to get into it. If you are coming here to browse and purchase I think it is going to be tough with supplies thin to non-existent if you are looking for a specific item. If you are a first timer it might be better going to a larger place for not only possibly better service but also training as well. I have only used them for transfer purposes after purchasing direct from a manufacturer or via a place like GunBroker. That process has been smooth and has even gotten more smooth with everything going online which is some good that COVID brought to the system. I have tried to buy ammo, but they have never had what I was looking for (and neither does most all places online). I tried to buy a G17 gen5 MOS but they never got one in. After literally months of waiting I got it somewhere else and did the transfer here but took a ding on the CC fees with my pre-purchase in getting my money back on that. They offered store credit and unfortunately I just did not see myself using it here over any reasonable time frame, so I am not complaining on this point. Just something to be more award of in the future. Bottom line this is a gun store. It is not Home Depot. They make a highly regulated process smooth as it is going to be, and I am a fan of the store.

I was never once treated like "a female beginner shooter", but rather just a beginner shooter. The people who work here are not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but they are kind and provide a warm welcome for newbies. I ended up taking two beginner shooting lessons here so far with Rick, who is a great instructor by the way, and was very pleased with the knowledge I walked out with. I told my brother about this place and he has taken a lesson here as well. I plan on continuing to come here for lessons and eventually will sign up for some women's shooting classes, among others. I'd also like to add that they truly care about you knowing what you are doing before purchasing a gun if you are a newbie. They direct you to some class options to learn, as well as helping you choose what purchase would be right for you. I'm so happy I found this place. It is definitely worth the drive for me! FYI if you come to the range around 11am-1pm on Saturdays it could be a bit busy, but it honestly didn't affect me at all.

I go there for supplies, and that's the treatment that I get. If that's how their ownership feels, it should be clearly posted on their door. Hopefully, the list helps them pose business. To be absolutely clear, this statement was made by a manager. Nice guy, but he had no problem spreading their narrative for them with his statement about preferred law enforcement only purchases. I put my disappointment aside and purchased what I needed for my own safety for my profession and left. I do not recommend his company whatsoever. Go elsewhere where you are respected. I hope that this helps more security officers avoid having an unpleasant experience.

He was patient, explained everything in detail (I am an admitted rookie) and was as professional as could be. After filling out the paperwork I paid for the gun and left. I returned on Monday and was told I couldn't get the gun because the permit had expired on Sunday. When I questioned why this hadn't been completed they started lecturing me on NJ laws. The manager, who told me of a family problem, started shouting at me, became aggressive and threatened to call police and have me escorted out of the store. This is not the type of business I would ever patronize again.

Chris is very knowledgable about firearms and provides straight forward reviews with a caveat "I will sell you whatever you want but this is my opinion.", almost like reading a review online but still having the ability to buy what you want. He is a firearms dealer, organizes/teaches weapon training courses, and is an avid shooter, so his opinion is based off of using the product not just reading a brochure. At the end of the day, I would go back and recommend others to go there as well.
