Went to a class last night, "Intro to Firearms", led by Instructor Andrew. Great class and great instructor. Andrew is very knowledgeable about firearms and shared his experiences with us. He also taught me some new, very good information. I really enjoyed the class and having him as an instructor. Andrew was also so helpful when we went into the range and started shooting. He made me feel comfortable and has so much patience for us beginners. I highly recommend this class. A shout out, as well, to Keyport Guns. I first walked into this store totally intimidated and unsure of myself. I am a gray haired 62 year old widow and I want to learn to protect myself. I can't speak highly enough about these guys. They have gone above and beyond to help me on multiple occasions. I have asked for so much help and have had so many questions and they have never once made me feel like a pain in the ass. You just don't find service like this in many places. I am so happy that, even though I was terribly nervous, I walked through their door. Ladies, (and gents), this is the place to go to start (and continue) your firearm journey. And ladies, we need to start learning to protect ourselves. I am just a beginner and already feeling more empowered thanks to the patience and help of Keyport Guns. When i first walked into the shop it was super small and kind of underwhelming. I thought this isnt going to be good. After buying a gun there suggesting multiple friends to buy here and bring my girlfriend to feel around. Jim and milton along with the rest of the staff are great people. The store may be small but there inventory and knowledge of firearms is huge. They take time to talk and help every individual that walks through the door. Holy crap. Yes you can stuff ten pounds of ammo in a five pound bag. I just stopped in for a new holster ( after finding the shop which is inside the Burlews complex) and holy mother of god. These guys are courteous, accommodating and highly knowledgeable about everything firearm related. They put your profile in the computer, take your picture ( don't be scared lol) and treat you like the responsible gun owner/collector that you are. Selection is top notch and prices are affordable. Seek this place out. And although it's a little crowded, be patient and it's all good from there. Like waiting to see The Santa Claus of GunTown. Love this place read more
