Of the handful of stores/ranges I've been to in NJ within the last year, these guys are on point. They have a great selection from the affordable to your Gucci competition hand guns, and a wide assortment of rifles from A-Z. I've had nothing but positive good experiences since I started going here. Most everyone there has been very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. They've been fully staffed whenever I've gone, and there are at times a short wait, but I don't mind because they give the same great service to everyone, and don't rush or push anything on you. Besides firearms they have all kinds of gear as well as safes, cleaning supplies, gun accessories, etc. They also do cerakoting, and I believe I'll be taking advantage of this when I pick up my next firearm. read more

Product pictured on their website didn't match the product delivered. Cost me 150$ to cancel the order due to their 20% restocking fee. Shame on me for not reading the fine print I guess... another customer in the store at the time was notified only when picking his product up that they were charging him an extra 50$ for mag compliance work. The staff was informative, and patient. I purchased my first handgun from them. They answered any question that I had without hesitation. They took their time and I did not feel rushed. They have a wide selection of firearms. The owner was pleasant and kind. The day I purchased my firearm he was gathering donations to personally drive down to North Carolina after hurricane Helene, which I thought was very noble. So not only was I able to purchase a firearm but also provide them with donations for those in need. Overall a wonderful experience. Very quick to sell new merchandise but when going back for either accessories or using the gunsmith, they always make an excuse as to why they are not able to do anything due to "inventory/time managment issues" after spending many thousands of dollars in this "establishment". Would strongly advise caution if considering this shop as your local gunsmith. Lost a customer...... read more

A year open and a bit off the radar. Located on the tail end of the Romeo plaza in Spotswood this Firearms store is quite a departure from your father's gun shop. Compact, with a modern esthetic SC is focused on the younger shooter. Dark woods and low lighting sets the mood. No "Fudds" here as the selection focuses on mainly black guns. Lots of semi autos and AR variants as well as a decent selection of pocket knives. Prices are good and selection is about average, wheel guns are not well represented but I did see a couple bright and shiny 1911 halo guns being sold. Accessories are sparse consisting of mainly gun cases and I did not see a great deal of ammo. This shop advertises quite a bit of customizing work. From Ceracoteing to trigger upgrades. I did like the price on a beautiful Remington shotgun and might be revisiting soon. read more

Brought my AR-10 for consignment and the process was super quick. The crew there was super helpful with all the questions I had. They pushed the rifle for sale and got it sold within a week!! I have local gun shops near me but nobody really cared about what I had to sell. Most of them didn't even know what consignment meant. I highly recommend SC. I called Saturday at 4:00pm to see if they had any Troy A4 .556 in stock. I was told they had 30 and they were closing in an hour, I was told they are closed Sunday and Monday, so come down Tuesday morning and there would be plenty in stock. I arrived Tuesday at 9:30, 30 minutes before they opened and was 3rd on line. The first 2 people were picking up and NOT Troy's. When it was my turn I explained what I wanted to buy and the salesperson said they were sold out. I explained I called and was assured there would be plenty, He looked like a deer in the headlights. I drove there in a storm for 1 hour, waited for 45 minutes to speak to them and had to drive an hour back, again in a snow storm. Something fishy happened here and I'm not sure what. I would have spent over $2,000.00 here, so I'm glad if nothing else, they didn't get and will never get my business. I'm assuming they were out of stock, but the dope on the phone had no regard for me or my time. read more

We've been going here for almost 2 years. Great selection of guns, knives, and other accessories, and fantastic prices. The prices for guns are comparable or even lower than advertised online. The HOLOSUN I bought here was priced significantly lower. I appreciate the owner sticking to normal prices, especially since many, many gun stores have been taking advantage of the pandemic and up charging their stuff. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes a bit of a wait to get in due to social distancing, but well worth it. My go to store; I recommend it to everyone! read more
