My husband and I were hit in a rear-end automobile accident. My neck and upper body were stiff, but also had a headache that would not go away. I saw my primary care Doctor, who determined I received whip-lash. She prescribed muscle relaxers and suggested I seek massages, acupuncture and/or chiropractic care.
