What we really liked was the daikris ($65) which tasted like a yuzu or loquat soda/refresher and was really tasty for the hot day. It's a casual coffee shop but they serve some good drinks.

One of the best decisions of the trip! The M&M special lived up to its name. Perfectly cooked, delicious flavors, my only disappointment was that I wish it came with slightly more bread to soak up the goodness of it all. Company ordered the toasts and while I didn't taste them because I loved my dish, they looked good. The avocado toast comes with their salsa macha, which I enjoyed but could be a bit much if you're not into spice. The turmeric coffee was earthy and glad I tried it but I needed more caffeine so I ordered the iced agave latte which helped and was refreshing too! We ate in the courtyard which was cute but the chairs were hella uncomfortable. Despite that, would highly recommend! Typical to my experience in Oaxaca, there's no rush to turn tables, so we waited a bit for the check but the lesson learned there is to ask for the check when they pick up your plates if you don't plan on lollygagging.

For drinks the flat white ($65) and americano ($45) were okay. It's more peaceful and not as busy if that's the vibe you're looking for. If you want another place to relax you can head through the door at the back of the cafe to the lobby of the hotel. If you're staying at the hotel this cafe is very convenient to get pastries or coffee.

Strong and delicious coffee. It makes me not want to try other coffee shops but I must compare! You'll find goat milk yogurt here and chia pudding which I need before I venture off to my temazcal. So what am I trying to say? I will be coming here daily for the best coffee while in Oaxaca. Maybe two times a day for the pies and cookies. Love the quiet street it's on too.
