We consider ourselves to be very organized and when looking for vendors for our wedding we wanted to ensure that whomever we decided to go with was also very organized and detailed. Neither of us have attended many weddings so we were a little lost in the clouds with what to expect and what to look for when deciding on our reception's entertainment. After reading numerous reviews on how wonderfully detailed and organized Chris was, we thought we might have found a winner. After first meeting with Chris, we felt very at ease and relaxed as if we were just hanging out with a friend. Chris knows his music. Not just one genre either. He's a well-versed encyclopedia of all aspects of music. Chris was very receptive to our requests of the style of music we wanted to hear at our ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception. While we both enjoy different types of music we were a little overwhelmed with which artists to go with and decided to trust Chris with the majority of the selections. We had a few "must play" songs which Chris made sure that we heard. Chris went above and beyond to ensure not only that we were happy but also to ensure that our guests were dancing and smiling the whole time. Our wedding had a few 90+ year olds and we were unsure if they would be able to get up and dance. However, Chris knew exactly what to play to bring them to the floor. Walkers and all, our grandparents were able to share the dance floor with us to create an unforgettable memory for our entire family. We also want to point out how punctual Chris is. We are very punctual people and we believe that if you're not early, you're late. Chris was always early. He always beat us to our meetings. We could go on and on for days about Chris' professionalism. I wanted to surprise my wife with a song that I wanted to play for her on acoustic guitar at the reception and Chris was not only happy to oblige, but was very excited to make it happen. We spoke on the phone over the weeks leading up to our big day. Chris walked me through the process of what equipment he was going to use and how he would introduce me to the reception. Chris was also accompanied by another DJ named Joe who was equally professional and kind. We met Joe the day of the reception and it felt like we knew him for many years. We were both completely at ease with our decision and had no worries about anything. We felt comfortable and relaxed and a big part of that was because he made sure everyone got to the dance floor, if even for just a few moments. Chris always greeted us with a warm smile and helped us create a timeline that coincided with our venue to make sure everything flowed properly. He wanted to save us from as much stress possible and requested the contact information of all of our vendors so he could speak directly with the venue about the schedule for the day-of timelines, the videographers about microphones, officiant about speeches and introductions, etc. We cannot express how grateful we were to not have to be the middleman and just provide Chris with names and phone numbers and wait for his "everyone's on the same page" email! Our venue expressed how easy and flawless it was working with Chris and that some other DJs cause them headaches. Chris seemed to make the day go easy and smoothly for everyone involved. We also went with a Photobooth through Futurescapes Entertainment and Chris was able to use our wedding template which was created specifically for our wedding. This ensured everything was cohesive throughout our entire wedding. If you're looking for a DJ who knows his craft, understands the business and is eager to please then Futurescapes Entertainment is hands down the best choice you can make. Pros: * Day of Support good; the Planner worked long hours, even helped with clean up * Taping job for bride's wardrobe malfunction excellent, stayed in place * Help with bridesmaid's dress also very good * Flexible with some last minute/late changes (changing three lights to two on the tables, changing plans to attend the AA tasting) * Helpful in acting as the bride and groom's witness when they applied for their marriage license * Picked up favors and stored centerpieces for the bride Cons: * Planning missed a lot of important details throughout planning (wedding date, etc.); does not take notes at meetings * Did not feel like personal service as requested in the initial interview, not enough time with bride. The bride missed dates to do things because the Planner was not in regular touch with the bride. The MOB had to step in to actively plan the wedding. * Very difficult to contact except email, even to schedule a meeting which had to be during business hours * Vendor search limited to one vendor, even after MOB mentioned the one vendor did not work * Planner not flexible to redo the vendor search after COVID rescheduling (extra fee for this), resulting in MOB, bride doing their own vendor searches for some vendors * Not budget-oriented as requested in initial interview in terms of purchasing additional services, resulting in going over budget continuously with nearly every vendor hired * Forgot that we were out of town in planning the wedding * Did not receive payment notifications when things were due or adequate budget spreadsheets * Nearly all communications (mostly emails) left something to be desired, resulting in lots of wasted time for the MOB, FOB, and others * Lack of timely response to many inquiries * Knowledge of venue not adequate (overstated in initial interview) * The Planner did not know the correct order for a Jewish wedding (where they stand at the altar) and directed incorrectly. This resulted in bride's family not seeing her face on the video. * Suggested lots of add-on fees for things that should have been included even though we paid for the premium service plus extra for planning additional parties. * Two special requests from MOB (a search of more than one vendor for chairs and welcome bag assembly) were handled mostly by assistants, resulting in uneven results. * No support given for times the planner was not available (her honeymoon and maternity leave)

We didn't really know much about DJS Available or Joe Moser and could not recommend his services more, especially at the affordable price!
