Based on previous work, I was a repeat customer. Making the appointment was quick and easy online. Their prices are average for the service. They showed up on time. It goes down hill from here..... They literally scratched my windows!!! First they tried to blame the dog, who is small, 17 years old, blind and deaf. When I pointed out scratches that were too high even for a young, energetic dog, they just looked at me. Finally, I showed them a massive amount of scratches at eye level, on a full pane door that I had just had installed....A BRAND NEW DOOR WITH BRAND NEW GLASS..... That's when they called the owner. The owner showed up, looked at the damage and immediately started saying they didn't do it; I insisted they did. Had just one window been damaged, then perhaps who did it would have been questionable, but many windows were scratched and in particular the brand new one was very damaged, with the same kind of scratch markings, so it clearly pointed to them as inadvertently causing that damage. We went back and forth about it several times; the conversation was calm and rational. He asked me what I wanted to settle this and I said I wanted recompensed for the door so I could replace the glass or the door, (which ever was cheaper). The other scratched windows I'd let slide as they scratches were low and not that noticable. (The scratches on the new door were all at eye level) At that point, he said he was calling the police. I didn't think I heard him correctly, so I asked him again....and he repeated that he was going to call the police. I looked at him in disbelief and asked him why. (wouldn't you have???) He said he was filing a report with the police since we disagreed on what happened. I told him that this was their damage and what did the police have to do with it, to which again he replied that he was calling the police. I stared at him in disbelief; had he said he was calling his insurance company, I would have understood and appreciated it, but he was going to call the police!!!! I told him, "Fine, call them." I I literally escorted him to the door and told him to 'get out'. I was calm and rational; I was in a complete state of shock. They damaged my property and they are calling the police! My head was spinning. This was a simple customer service issue, that his people created and he was shifting the blame to me as if I was the crooked one. Did he think this form of intimidation was going to scare me into changing my claim? Well, folks, he did, indeed, call the police~~HE CALLED THE POLICE..... he literally called the police, who showed up to take a report. Even the officer was shaking his head. When I asked him why the police were involved, he said he didn't know, that he was just doing his job and getting both sides of the story. He took the report, I apologized for wasting his time and public resources, still not fully understanding what had just transpired. His best guess was that the owner would try to take it to court, saying I defrauded them by not paying the bill which was: 1. never presented 2. nor was the job completed and 3. they damaged my property. I'd include pictures if there was a way, but photographing glass is difficult. My thoughts.......the owner clearly knew they had damaged the glass and was trying to deflect and shift the focus back on to me so I would back down. Crooked, crooked, crooked. What ever happened to integrity??? I am so disappointed in such behavior....and a week before Christmas, too! read more

They canceled the morning they were supposed to arrive. I've had them clean my home 3-4 times. The people they've sent have done a pretty good job. But you'll be notified that if you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, they'll charge you anyway. However, if they cancel your appointment 2 hours in advance, you get diddly from them. Just an email. I was left with a dirty home for my party when they canceled that morning. Its only fair that if you cancel on them without adequate notice, you have to pay, so if they cancel on you, they should pay you, right? read more

I recently hired My Clean House to clean my gutters. I never needed gutters cleaned before so I was not sure where to go. I found a number of services through Yelp and Angie's list. I called a couple and because of decent reviews and cost ($123 for two story home) I had My Clean House come out and do the job. Despite confirming a few dates they did not come out because they have to have day of confirmation from the home owner before the job begins. Strange, but I must say communication on scheduling was good. The crew did clean the gutters well. We have had two rains since and no waterfalls come from the gutters. The reason for the two stars is the lack of respect the company has for customer property. I came home to find about 100 pounds of debris in two leaking bags on my driveway. The stains left behind from them dragging the bags and leaving them next to the trash bins...no in, but right next to them. I called them on this and they said "most customers prefer we don't take up so much room in the bins." The professions thing to have done is ask the customer what they'd prefer. I can see "most customers" preferring 100 pounds of leaking debris staining their driveway. In order for the crew to reach the gutters in the back they had to move our furniture. Very understandable however they shoved everything to one side, cushions on the ground for some reason and just left everything there. They did not move one piece back. Finally, I was asked how I would like to handle payment. He offered to invoice me and I agreed. He said needed a credit card to hold but wild not charge and would send an invoice. Yep, he charged the card. I don't so well with people who lie in business. Despite the decent cost to clean the gutters, with the complete lack of respect and neglect of their customers property and not being truthful we won't be using them again. I was hoping to have found a reputable company because I need to get windows cleaned too. Oh well. read more

I had several stains in my Berber carpet and was considering replacing it. Upon contacting love my clean house I asked them if they had equipment that could remove stains they said they did. I was amazed at the time they spent, detail to spot removal and the overall result. Having rental property I've had other companies come in and they seem like they're in a hurry and do a poor job. So I was pleasantly surprised after love my clean house were able to do a thorough job. read more

Was great but over the years they kept changing cleaners who can't even clean the water residue left on top of furniture. Was so bad I just had to ask the ladies to leave. I hired them to clean my parents house on a weekly basis when they were both not feeling well as I live too far away to do it. I just kind of hoped they were doing a good job and figured any help was better than none. I came to visit and they came to clean while I was here. They did a phenomenal job! I wish their company was in San Antonio as we have not been able to find a good, trustworthy company to clean our house. My parents are feeling better and keep up on their own, but I've been thinking recently that I should have them come out monthly to keep up on it. Love them!! read more

If you're in the market for a great house cleaning company, call Love My Clean House! I had them out last week to do a deep clean and those two women worked so hard! Today I had their carpet cleaners out. Those two guys worked some miracles. My dogs had made a horror show of my carpet. One of them is 15 years old now and doesn't seem to care if he makes it outside to do anything anymore. There were some stains I thought could never possibly come up. These guys got them up. They also move furniture which some carpet cleaning companies will not do. Yes, some of the stains may resurface (all carpet cleaning companies I've used have warned me of that) but for now ... the carpet looks amazing! As does the whole house. Service starts out ok and price is good but quality declines. Several broken items that were never reimbursed. Used them loyally for a long time. Asked one question about my bill after receiving an automated notice that my invoice from the previous day's cleaning was paid. I hadn't personally paid it but sent them the notice I received that said it was paid, thinking my wife had paid it. I was threatened, told I wasn't paying invoices (100% untrue), treated like a criminal and scum of the earth by the owner. Common criminals. Direct quote from the owner: "I bee calling you but you did not pick up the phone. You know you have not paid that invoice, we don't have a credit card on file and you did NOT pay my employees on site. SO how did you pay yesterday cleaning? This invoice need to pay TODAY and I will not wait for you 7 to 15 day to pay like you are use to do. I have been using Love My Clean House for 2 years. I have literally used all of the services they provide because they are THAT GOOD! Carpets are cleaned quick with little damp afterwards. The window cleaning team is AMAZING. I literally didn't know my windows could be so clean (I did it semi-regularly and we were selling the house so I had it done before we listed). Even my realtor asked for their # because they did such a great job! I have been using the house cleaning service every other week for 2 years and I couldn't be happier! I bought an Angie's List deal from this company. From the first time I called I had difficulties with them. I called repeatedly trying to schedule something, and a couple weeks ago I finally booked for today, the day before we are leaving on a very long trip, to have them come and do a thorough cleaning of our house so we could leave it nice for the people renting it while we are gone. They were supposed to be here at 11 a.m., and at 11:20 I called to find out where they were. I was told that they sent an email last night informing me that they could not come until Friday. This is not true, as I have not received any email from them, and I made it very clear that we needed it done today because we are leaving at 6 a.m. tomorrow. They handled the situation very flippantly and offered no consolation and did not try to send any other cleaners out before we leave. I instead spent the day trying to find a house cleaner who is reliable and professional rather than this company who I would never attempt to use again. read more

When my husband called to see why they didn't call she stated they did but did not leave a message, we both work from home and had our phones in front of us. We saw really bad reviews recently and should have went with my gut and not scheduled something with them. We have my husband's party this weekend and now have to scramble and find someone else. Had my home gutters clean less that a month ago. The invoice didn't hit my e-box until last night at 5:12 PM and today I received a call from a COLLECTION AGENCY! I thought it was a scam so I called for Juan at Love My Clean House and sure enough, the girl who answered said "yeah, the owner does that". What kind of business does that? Deep financial problems perhaps?. STAY AWAY. I paid the $107.00 plus their "35.00 late charge". I not only will never use this company again but I will let everyone I know of their less than reputable business practices. read more

This company is very bad and unprofessional. Every time they cleaned, my wife found places they missed. Then they dropped us off of the cleaning schedule and we had to reschedule for days later. We had used them since Sept. 2015 when they dropped us off of the schedule. When I presented a poor review due to this, they sent an email saying that they did not want to clean our house anymore. I had booked and received housecleaning services through this company approximately 6 months ago via Angie's List. Everything went well that time- no complaints. I booked this time as a repeat customer. My appointment today was for 1:15 pm. At 1:33, no one had shown up and I hadn't received any notifications from them. I called their office to let them know that no one had arrived yet, and the owner responded with a rambling excuse about this particular cleaning "girl always getting lost", while looking up her location on what I'm assuming is some sort of tracking system. He tells me that she is driving and gives me her approximate location. He then tells me that he's going to call her and then call me back. He calls me back- it's now 1:44 and he informs me that they'll be here in 15 minutes, making their arrival time 45 minutes late! I tell him that I am not happy, as I had already rearranged the entire day's schedule for myself, my son, and our dog and made appointments for us all outside of the home so that we would not be in the way of the cleaning crew during their 2 hour time frame. Because of the lateness of his crew, we were now late for our own appointments. I asked him what he was going to do to resolve this or to perhaps make up for the inconvenience. Rather than a respectful apology or offer of discounted services, he instead tells me that I "don't know how this business works" (umm, I'm pretty sure this business works the same as any other- a service is scheduled, the service is provided at scheduled time and date, the end). When I told him his behavior was not very professional, he went so far as to provide some far-fetched analogy about "going to a doctor's office for an appointment and having to wait". What??!! When I told him that being 45 minutes late to a scheduled job with no notice is completely unacceptable, he replied that "we cannot agree" and that he was cancelling the appointment. Fine by me! Wish I would've chosen a different company to begin with, so I could've avoided this entire headache in the first place. So sad that this is how they treat customers! read more

Yesterday Love My Clean House did a regular cleaning (2 workers, 2+ hours). This is the 4th time I've used them and again they did a thorough job. I'm very impressed with their systematic cleaning and the resulting job from floor to ceiling. Everything also smells fresh and clean when they leave as well. I've had private house cleaners who don't do as good as job as these folks do. My team was lead by Lupina and she made sure everything was done. I've never had breakage, or anything left untouched. I have used this company in the past to clean my home, and have referred them to several friends, and recommended them on Nextdoor. A friend of mine used them to clean her house in Allen several times without incident, and recently hired them to clean her rent house in Dallas before her new tenants moved in. That is where the problem occurred. She booked a 5 hour cleaning (2.5 hours with a team of two). They did a crappy job, and were only there for an hour, but instead of complaining and potentially getting the maids in trouble, she decided to call the office and see if they would lower her rate, since they were only there for an hour. She called and spoke with two different females on two different occasions. Both of which told her they may knock $20 or so off her bill, but they would have to check with someone and call her back. She never received that call back. Several days later, she called again, and asked for Jonathan, the owner. She was told he would call her back. He did not. The next thing she knew, she had been sent a collections agency (only 10 days after the cleaning)!!! She again called and asked for Jonathan. Was told he was out of town, but explained the situation to someone claiming to be his uncle. He was unsympathetic, and basically told her she refused to pay, so she was sent to collections. She had NOT refused to pay! She had been trying to pay them ever since the cleaning! She did pay the bill right then and there, but long story short, this company dropped the ball on communication, and then tried to write her off as a nonpaying client. I don't know if they didn't make the connection that this was an established client already, or if they just didn't care, but they have now lost 2 clients over this. I am a business owner myself, and would NEVER treat a client like this. I am retracting my recommendation on Nextdoor also, and am embarrassed I ever referred them to anyone. read more

I've used them before for cleaning services and they did a pretty good job for the price. I decided to use them again and they were supposed to show up at 3:00 pm and they didn't show up until 4:20. No one from heir company called to inform me that they were running late until I called them at 4pm. Since the original appointment was between 3-5pm, they had to leave at 5:25 because I had a prior engagement. I called the office and spoke to the girl who answered the phone that the cleaning crew was only here for 1 hour and to adjust my bill accordingly (1 hour x 2 cleaners = 2 hours). Needless to say, I got a bill charging me to the entire 4 hours. I called the office and the office manager Jacob said he would take the charges off because of all the issues I had to deal with. A week later, I get another bill charging me for the entire 4 hours again. I called the office and spoke to the owner (Jonathan) this time and he said that they had a minimum 4 hour policy. I had to argue with him and point out that due to the fact his cleaning crew was late, I shouldn't get charged for the entire 4 hours when it's his fault. He finally relented and charged me for the 2 hours. The cleaners are great, but the office is very disorganized. Because of this and some other issues, I'm not going to be using their services anymore. read more
