Then when we were on the coast to birth my baby she told me it was too far. So she made us drive to Eugene while I through up the entire way. Then she tells me she doesn't think I should have my baby in my bus and we should get a room. Even though I had planned to have baby in the bus the entire pregnancy and had it all set up minus the birthing pool she was suppose to provide. Instead she didn't provide the pool because she said it would be too much work too fill up the pool. It wouldn't of been her filling it up it would of been my husband. She could have helped me find a hose. Or I could of got one. But I compromised and decided to go to the room because she said their was a tub in the room. Then she proceeded to tell my husband to stay in the bus with our 2 year old. Then went to the room and went to sleep. And didn't even inform my husband which room we were in. My husband went to sleep expecting somebody to come get him. It was terrible for me. I had nobody there to comfort me and Liz just kept making me feel like the birth wasn't progressing fast enough. She went and d breakfast with her co worker and left me alone a lot. Never once thought to go wake my husband up. Why did she do all of this because it was what was easiest on her. She then post on her page kudos to all the men that hold their woman through every contraction. My husband did what she told her to do and made me feel like I had to do it alone without my husband untill zealan wakes up. I finally at like 9 am went down stairs by myself to get him. She also never called to set up a 6 week appointment i never heard from her. Then today 5 months later I call her to let her know she ruined my birthing experience.. she tells me she didn't know i wanted my husband their with me and she didn't know my birthing plan... which is all a lie. Because all i wanted was to have my baby in my bus with my son and husband and her in the background. With my lights, tea, tapestries, pool, I had jmsuxh high hopes for my birth. I had nothing to drink or eat in their. I had to drink the sink water. It was disgusting. When I was ready to have my baby she told me to get on the bed not get in the water. I wanted nothing more than to pull my baby out of the water. And she knew that.

When I asked how long the appointment would be she said they schedule 15 minutes for each issue. I could schedule several appointments to cover the issues I have. So, each issue (fifteen min appt) would be billing Medicare and my private insurance. Receptionist asked me if I wanted to schedule more appointments to cover my issues. I decided I need to find another doctor and clinic where my needs can be met with one appointment. I am really disappointed as I have been a patient with Corvallis Family Medicine for several years.

His is not mobile and has a terminal diagnosis. No caregiver was with him and his blood pressure dropped dangerously low so 911 had to be called. Avamere hung up on an important phone call and acted highly negligent. The hospital and the clinic were appalled not to mention my panic scramble to find him and check his condition. Avamere was highly confused and jeopardized the life of my father.

Debra Hunter helped me with a hair stylist and Victoria Fletcher, the dietician, helped me with a special diabetic birthday cake and also helped me with balloons and a card. When I completed the call, I was actually speechless, because I couldn't believe the customer service I was just rendered. A wholly unsatisfactory experience. Here is the situation: My partner is pregnant, neither of us…read morehave children, and are excited if not a bit worried about the whole endeavor. We were told by my partner's friends that Dr. Wren was a good person to see about such matters. Apparently they have had different situations than ours. We have a high deductible insurance, about $5,000. Of course we are both young and healthy so it hasn't seemed necessary to pay upwards of $300/month to see a doctor once every five years... live and learn. Anyway, we both take off work to make this appointment. My partner is excited to have an ultrasound to see the baby. Of course, Dr Wren can't afford to buy an ultrasound machine so she can't get one. What did we get, you ask? Well a half an hour of being pigeonholed into a database by a nurse, then another half an hour of being asked the same information over again by the doctor. What did we learn? Smoking is bad for babies, drinking is bad for babies, ibuprofen is bad for babies, drinking water is good for babies, stretching is good for babies, Google is just as informative about babies as this OB/GYN. What is the difference between our visit and a Google search? An hour with Google is nearly free, and hour at Dr. Wren set us back $537.
