I started coming here Feb 2012 and shortly stopped after a couple months. I liked it at first because it was quiet, a place for reflection, and I gained peace of mind after my yoga practice. Sometime in March it seemed to become widely popular, which I am not surprised because it is a great, but because of the popularity the classes were very full and caused very little personal space for practice. Also the music was a bit of a downside. Before class I like to have a few minutes of quiet and relaxation. I was finding this harder and harder to achieve because many of the other students were being loud. read more

I have been going to yoga at Love Yoga for over 2 years now. I really love it here and go several times a week. Suzanne is an amazing yoga instructor who truly cares about the people that come into the studio. She is compassionate and funny and offers many options/modifications for poses so any level of student can find a comfortable pose in class. I also enjoy Mara's classes and both Mara and Suzanne are excellent instructors. I have not taken a class from any other instructors. I would highly recommend Love Yoga. The studio is nice and serene, I feel relaxed as soon as I walk in the door. There are mats to use if you dont have one and lots of other props to help you with poses. I have made a lot of new friends coming to yoga, I really enjoy that part of the experience, the other people who come to class are nice and friendly and it makes the hour just that much more enjoyable. read more

Long ago I visited this place i needed, and after that I kept bringing family members back. Good space. Easy for out of town peeps to check in to destress. I didnt feel like a stranger like when I go to yoga studio even near me. They had Thanks Giving yoga and hope they will have Christmas Yoga too-- that sounds weird but I really need it. read more

Just had a great weekend doing Strala Yoga training at Love Yoga. What a joy to meet Suzanne and connect with the other yogis learning and practicing there. I live in Portland and wish Love was closer by. Regardless, I will be making trips down to practice with these great folks. I really enjoyed Prenatal Yoga with Amy! The studio has a great atmosphere, and Amy was very friendly and accommodating. The session was very relaxing and all the poses felt so great for my rapidly changing body. I felt a great sense of calm afterwards that stayed with me the rest of the day. Amy is very knowledgeable and took time to show modifications and explain different yoga poses and concepts. I'll be back and plan to try a couple more classes! read more

Yoga studio is great. It is clean and in a great new building and location. Both teachers are great especially the harder classes that I had Laura as a teacher in. The other classes that they teach are great for beginners; gentle and basics. On the down side the studio is not very environmental, they have printed flyers everywhere that seem a little overkill. They print all their schedules, come on now this is the electronic age, why kill a tree or 10. Everyone has internet access and their schedules are online, i wonder why they don't just print one or two and post them on the door and in the studio on a white or black board. They seem to water their big tree with individual water bottles which I saw stacked up by the tree, maybe not but thats what it looked like. Also their plants seem to be dying. Bathrooms have much to be desired( in the way of full garbage cans)( are you out of bags?)) even though it is a brand new building, just the garbages need to be emptied more often, it's just simple house keeping. The floors seem to get cleaned often from what I can see in downward dog. The general gist of the studio is great just a little more attention to full garbage cans and environmental stewardship. New stereo system is good can't wait till their new classes; speaking of which I'd like to see more of Laura's classes as they are well planned and executed as well as consistently changing rather than staying monotonous. Class's can get boring if they are the same over and over, which hers aren't. I don't know what else to say other than I love this place and can't wait to get back, I would give five stars if if wasn't for the many printed schedules that they must throw out every end of month and the full garbages that the owner's must overlook every time they are.
