I went to get Chinese food but they were closed so I decided to give this spot a try. The female cashier seemed to instantly get irritated because I asked for light ice. You would have thought I asked her to freeze the water until it turned to little cubes. I assume the male near her was the manager. He encouraged me to order the Philly Steak egg roll. NASTY! Then he suggested the Korean salad. NASTY and too hot to enjoy taste! The chicken egg rolls were cold and seemed they had been frozen because the inside was cold while the outside was crispy. The price for 10 wings and fried rice an drink is about $20. For $5-$10 more I could have eaten a great steak at Longhorns or Saltgrass (Texas) The shrimp fried rice was thick grained rice not the rice from a Chinese restaurant although, it was Shrimp Fried Rice. I drenched it with all kinds of sauces. I ordered a single fried Whiting fish and it was not in my order. But, I lived too far to go back and argue about it. I would only go in for their Peach Drink. They have a roach infestation issue. The manager is also not a kind person, and I'm sure I've seen a roach cooking in the back. He refuses to call an exterminator despite the complaints, and there's rumors that most of the roaches in question are hiding under the freezer. They have extensive flavors, and items on the menu besides wings. Fried rice, salads, fish, shrimp, burgers, and sandwiches. You can dine in, and watch tv on the two flat screens, and have a nice cold draft beer, cause yes they have s about four beers on tap, so you can get a nice frosty, brew while they cook up your order fresh in the back. I was very surprised by this place. I got me and my father food and it was excellent. The food was fast to come out but it was exactly as ordered. The wings are crispy, fries were good the sweet tea was on point. It was a lot of customers in there today, which is Christmas Eve, but they handled that flow exceptionally well. They took everybody's order as they came in they got everybody's food out as soon as it was ready. They were also juggling orders over the phone as well. The young ladies did amazing behind the counter as well as the young man. Young man also did not hesitate to thank a veteran for his service as he was sitting in the lobby waiting for his food. I was surprised to see that a review had not yet been written for this place as it's a staple in the Lovejoy/Hampton area. The restaurant is more take-out than dine-in but there are some tables and a small bar there which always has seats available. The owner and primary server is fairly prompt, remembers the orders of her regular customers and is pretty good at maintaining service for all diners and customers as she is usually the only person working outside of the cook. The food is prepared fresh and is always served hot and exactly as I've ordered it (and I'm one of those finicky eaters that always has a special order). The prices are fair in some things and a little high on others but in my opinion the portion sizes are fair for what you pay. Also, of note to those Budweiser fans, drafts are only $2. All in all this is a great place for wings and phillies, and if you're looking for a fast and well prepared meal this is a place to keep on your list. read more
