I visit my family in Ga. on a regular basis. We invariably have fish and chicken at some point when we're together; and, JJ FISH and CHICKEN is our first call. We are Always happy with the service and the food. It's easy to order and pick up. As for the ambiance, the building is always clean. There is no disturbing smells that would cause me to be uncomfortable with the food. I would recommend this restaurant. As a side note, I want to mention that the last time I was there, I had to get my order from inside and needed help carrying everything. A very nice Young Lady happily assisted me. I had No Cash to offer her a tip; but, she helped anyway. It was such a Good Thing to find a Young Person who Showed Kindness in that way. She made my day! read more

The food is good but the drive-through is trash! It's nasty, greasy, tight to drive and the wait time is too darn long! I ordered online and received a message saying my food was ready but I still sat in the drive-through too long! I finally got my food, I check it and it was barely any seasoning on it. Stopped by because the Supreme Fish restaurant closed early. I was impressed at the variety of fish. The fish was good;however, I asked the cashier to share with the cook, I wanted my fish fried hard. Well, that didn't happen. The fries were soggy. No crisp or crunch. Did not disappoint, great flavor, nice crunch, and freshly cooked, so nothing was lukewarm or cold except that fresh squeezed lemonade you didn't know you needed until you got it!!! They won't even start your chicken till you're there and you still have to sit there and wait even though you order ahead so that you don't have to wait. Alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll yummy!!! The wing is the whole wing, fish you can choose tilapia or catfish, and the shrimp are nice and large. They sprinkle it with fairy dust and give it to you with fries and cole slaw! Yummilicious- good service with a smile, I like to go there almost every time I go to that area. My wife and I had different entrees when I picked up dinner for us. Sad to say, but I felt like I was eating pure lard! This is the greasiest food I've had in decades. So, if you like greasy food that doesn't really taste that good, then JJs is your place. My only issue is they NEVER have the strawberry syrup for their lemonades. And they could also stand to cook their fries a little more. Customer service is okay, nothing special. I have been visiting the restaurant since I moved to Atlanta. I have tried several of the locations. The food is consistent at each one. I order the seafood combo with flounder and shrimp. I've only had it one time off of Tara blvd that's did not meet my expectations. The fried chicken wings are also very good. They put this white powder on top that is both tangy and a little spicy but it give the food life. It's so good! I wish a had some of that powder at home lol. There fries are always mushy and not good at all so I order the first okra which can be substituted for an extra charge. I have been here several times but it had been almost 2 years ago.Now entering the restaurant a change in the restaurant scenery because of the Covid 19 Pandemic. The seats were taken up floors were marked for 6 ft apart and the service was very much faster and a lot of more employees were visible working together to make it happen to get all these people orders out on a timely manner. Customer service and management was horrible! I made an order online at 2 pm for a 7:30 pickup time. I arrived at 7:30 to pick it up and they never even gotten started on my order. I asked an employee what was the purpose for ordering online if you have to wait. He stated that they were busy. Several customers that ordered after me got their orders completed well before mine. An employee who was cooking stated, "this ain't KFC" as if I shouldn't care that no one even gotten started on my order. Another employee that I assume was a manager offered to give me some lemonade for my inconvenience which to me was a complete joke. I ended up not getting my food until after 8 o'clock.
