At one of the reading areas, there is a puzzle area. It's a long high top table with two puzzles and it's named a "community puzzle" area. While getting ready to leave, I noticed a laptop kiosk. You may check out a laptop for use. Never seen this before at a library. Brilliant! There are also six rows of desktop computers to use along with a print station. So glad I stopped here this afternoon. Check their website for daily hours of operation. Today's (Sunday) hours are 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Looking forward to returning here during my next trip to FoCo!

More than a library, it's a place for possibility…read more LINC Library Innovation Center is hands-down my favorite library I've ever visited. And calling it simply a "library" honestly, doesn't do it justice. Of course, LINC has everything you'd expect from a great library, including books and resources for people of all ages. But it goes so much further than that. This is a technology center, a learning space, a creative hub, and a place where people can come to learn, create, imagine, experiment, and think beyond the world they already know. What I love most is that LINC create opportunities to channel curiosity, and creativity into something meaningful. It gives people access to tools, knowledge, technology, and experiences that can open doors they may not have realized existed. There is something incredibly powerful about having a community space that encourages people to ask, "what else is possible?" Instead of simply teaching people what already exists, LINC encourages the community to imagine what could exist. The possibilities here genuinely feel endless. This is the kind of institution that can help expand perspectives, inspire creativity, develop new ways of thinking, and ultimately create positive change within the community. If you think a library is just a building full of books, go visit LINC. It might completely change your definition of what a library can be. Hands down, my favorite library.

I'm writing this review from the perspective of a mom with small children. This library has a good…read moreselection of books for young kids, and quite a lot of books in different languages as well, all within reach so that they can make their own choices. The children's area is at the back of the library, and there are several comfortable areas to sit and read with the kids. The large windows in this area provide plenty of natural light, and also allow inquisitive children to look down upon people and cars milling around below, and watch the dogs playing at the dog park. There are also educational activity centers in this area, so the kids can move around a bit. This my kids' favorite Fort Collins library.

Taking a ride on this historic streetcar really makes you feel like you've traveled back in time…read more The journey takes you along the original route and down a street of Victorian style houses. The craftsmanship of the streetcar is a beautiful. The ride takes less than half an hour for the round trip. The conductors are a great source of information and are happy to share the history. The entire operation is run by volunteers. It's incredible what the team has done to restore the streetcar and how much effort goes into operating this historic attraction. For only $2 for an adult and $1 for a child - this is a cheap and unique treat!

First-time Small Claims Court filers, this is for you: 1)…read moreFill out the JDF 250 form and take it to one of the two "CIVIL SMALL CLAIMS" windows in the Centennial Center, first floor. Just bring one copy and your checkbook. Don't bring exhibits or multiple copies - they won't get used. 2) Drive over to the Weld County Sheriff's Office (says WELD COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT ADMINSTRATION on the building) and pay a fee to have the defendant served. 3) Prepare your case. Read the "Small Claims Handout / 19th Judicial District Handout" and follow all instructions. FYI it won't matter how nice the paper you use for exhibits is, they scan everything and your actual papers will never be seen by the magistrate. 4) You are not required to list your exhibits on the JDF 72 Exhibit List form they give you. 5) On the day of your trial (always Thursday?) get there at least an hour ahead of the trial time (always 1:15p?). Go back to a CIVIL SMALL CLAIMS window and tell them you want to provide your exhibits to the court. They will scan all of your documents and take your USB thumb drive. You will not get these things back. Note: they have to remove all staples before scanning. 6) It's okay not to provide the defendant with a copy of your exhibits until the trial. 7) The well-prepared plaintiff will observe some cases before the day of your own trial. Observers are allowed. As this is written, cases are on the 2nd floor of the Centennial Center in Courtroom C. 8) The magistrate will take care of some preliminary business and then order opposing parties to go into little rooms, sit across a table from each other, and try to work out a deal. This is where your provide a copy of your exhibits to the defendant to keep. You will discuss your exhibits and the defendant's exhibits. Everyone will probably realize who has a strong case and who doesn't. Note that there's no arbiter present. It's just you and the defendant(s). 9) If you reach a deal, you will fill out a form that's there in the room stating what the agreement is. Don't worry if you don't know how to fill it out completely (we didn't). Just fill out what you can and go back to the courtroom. Of course, make it clear to the magistrate what part(s) you need assistance with. The magistrate is understanding and helpful. 10) If you did reach a deal, the magistrate will make it official. If you did not, both the plaintiff and defendant will present their cases, and the magistrate will rule. The whole process isn't super complicated, but they don't tell you these things. I couldn't guess why; every single Small Claims participant needs to know this stuff.

People are nice though, even though it smells a bit funny.
