    Soooo good!

I was in town for the weekend and decided to get my nails done. This place does not disappoint!! I wish I lived closer because I would definitely become a regular. The atmosphere is so nice. It was clear that there were regulars that come there. I walked in and they were pretty busy someone at almost every chair. For a weekend that's understandable! She matched my inspiration picture perfectly. I could hear staff talking with customers knowing them by name and knowing parts of their life! I always love a salon that has a community! In other salons I've felt super awkward and it never seemed like there were regulars. That's always a good sign. If I'm ever in town again I'll definitely be coming back. Shape and length was everything I wanted!

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the techs were very nice and patient with me and my 17month old daughter who did not want to be there. However, my nails look TERRIBLE. I couldn't ask for them to be fixed because my daughter needed to leave because she was starting to cause a scene but I'm so disappointed with my nails. To add to this review, I called back to ask for a refund and they wouldn't give it to me. She asked me To come back (same day) to get them fixed. I don't have time being a single parent and I don't even trust them to do a decent job "fixing" them..very upset.

I absolutely love this place.. It was my first time stopping in and I have never felt so welcomed and they even offer you drinks. I love my nails!! I didn't catch the young lady who did them but they are absolutely AMAZING! Definitely coming back! She wasn't rushing and she was so sweet.

Every time I've come here I've walked out because of the invalid wait time. Today, a Tuesday, I walked in at 1700. Little bit of a wait. That's fine. After being told it'd be just 25 mins. 15 mins go back and I get told it's going to be 45 mins and ask if I wouldn't mind coming back in at 1800. Okay...... came back in to waiting another 15 mins. For them to tell me and a few other people that it'll be another 25 mins. Just be honest about your wait times. I literally just wasted two hours. I can't even give a review on the service because your business isn't honest. This has been the 3rd time. The other two times were on a Monday and Tuesday. Lost my would have been business.

Amazing service! They pay attention to detail and make sure everything is perfect. The salon itself is very clean and the nail artists are very polite and respect your wishes. This was the right place to go!! I will definitely come here again

I would give negative stars if possible. My best friend took me here cause she loves the place and has never had issues. I was so excited to get my toes done cause it's been forever! The whole time I had told them I have very sensitive and ticklish feet. I even paid for the cheapest pedicure so it didn't have all the fancy stuff. Didn't listen and continued to do the bottom of my feet even while pulling my feet away. Well anyways fast forward to my next pedicure. I went somewhere different with my mom. The polish gets buffed and soaked off and I didn't feel a thing. Then my toe goes in the water and the worst pain. I look down at my toe and there's FUNGUS on my toe. We are now a couple weeks after that and it has now fallen off. I see people who love this place but knowing they aren't cleaning properly to where people get fungus is quite repulsive if you ask me. Have your own opinion but this one is mine. *ignore my boyfriends nails he's a mechanic

Overpriced af and don't always care about doing a good job. Rush through and leave noticeable mistakes. Not worth the price.

I tried this place 3 times before I realized I don't want to spend anymore money at this location. My first visit was for their grand opening. My boyfriend and I were received right away which was really nice considering how busy they were. I requested a gel American manicure and pulled up a picture of what I wanted. However, the tech who was very friendly and spoke a decent amount of English did inform me that they did not have the base color for an American manicure. He did not turn on the light which was odd to me because I feel if you're going to do nails you need a good look at the nail bed and what you're doing.. anyways I walked away with a French manicure. Wasn't the worst I've seen but definitely not the best. Second time I went in I came mid day so they weren't busy at all. The guy who did my nails was different this time so I was hoping the service would be better. He also did not do as I requested. I asked specifically for a clear polish and he replied something along the lines of no clear, but pink. I bit my tongue and hoped that the color he would be using would suffice. It did not. He used the pink base coat typically used for French manicures. I do believe the language barrier played a big role in me not getting the service I wanted. For my third and final visit, it was the same guy. I asked for a French manicure this time. He asked me white tip and I was excited so I said yes. However when it came to the nail service, he did not ask me about shape, length or base color. His work is sloppy and I feel he was not trained properly. Towards the end he filed my nails leaving the dust behind without cleaning much of it off proceeded to massage my hands with the lotion. I have white gel leftover on my fingertips. He did not properly cut my cuticles off and would sometimes get too close to the healthy skin at which point I experienced pain. I will be returning to my hunt of a decent nail salon in Long county ):

write about your experience in one sentence: unprofessional and terrible results!…read more My mom used to bring me to this salon a few years ago and I couldn't remember why I didn't go back to American Nails.. now I remember. I was upset at the fact that I had to personally tell one of men who mostly does full-set and full-in that there are gaps from my pink and white full set. Which is like $40+... ain't no way I'm going to walk out of that place with messed up nails :) I waited patiently for him to tell me he was almost done just to ask if he was going to fix his mistake; over drilling majority of the nails; filing too much on one side of the nails than the whole nail. He just started filing more!! It made the gaps wider and he began cutting me. As I asked him if he could fix it, he straight up told me to "just leave".. And told me that if I don't like it then soak it off at home..? -----mind you that, everything was fine beforehand-----I just wanted my nails to be what I paid for, you understand? There is no excuse for this poor behavior.. especially as one of the "owners" or boss... Anyways, here are some picture I took right when I got in the car from such... (these nails were one step away from being polished--btw don't mind the blood or cuts he made numerous times without me complaining at all)

Exterior Located in the plaza / strip with Lucke Furniture…read more I decided to stop in here because I'd just had breakfast / lunch at Wrap Happy. Interior Definitely an older plaza, so the interior is what one would expect, but it looked clean. I didn't check out the inspection score because I just needed a polish change (toes). Customer Service When I walked in, there was one woman doing a pedicure. She scowled at me but offered no greeting. The gentleman at the desk smiled and asked how he could help. After telling him what I wanted, he directed me to go wash my hands and pick out a nail color. (I'm still not sure why all nail salons are asking patrons to wash their hands if they are not going to actually work on your hands. Maybe it has to do with handling cash or credit cards.) Once the technician (who I think is also the owner, Kim) got to work on me - she was actually quite friendly. So I'm not sure why she scowled at me initially - lol. She told me I looked tired / sleepy. Gotta love the brutal honesty of Asian ladies. Lol. We did have some language barrier issues but Google's handy dandy English to Vietnamese translator took care of all that. And I genuinely appreciate her telling me the names of the 2 salons I could go to get my underarms waxed. (They only wax facial hair - brows, jawline, upper lips - because they don't have a private room.) I have never gone to a nail salon for a polish change and gotten such bare bones service. She cleaned my nails, did a base coat, applied two coats of polish and no top coat. Once she was done, she did apply any cuticle oil - which is something all reputable salons do simply because the acetone in the nail polish they just used is gonna make cuticles and surrounding area ashy and dry looking. Price / Value Ok. So if I'd just had the bad polish experience, I'd probably just give a 3 star rating because I genuinely hate giving anything less than 3 stars but the reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because when it was time to checkout, they charged me $15 for a polish change instead of the price that was posted: $10. When I asked to explain the discrepancy, the gentleman started to talking to me about the gel polish change prices ($25). This was completely irrelevant because I did not have gel polish (removed or applied). The credit card machine was not working (there's a sign on the door advising that they're taking cash app and zelle, etc, instead) so I paid and left without arguing. I'm not sure what's up with both Wrap Happy (neighboring tenant) and the Nail Salon not having the correct prices listed, but it's super disappointing and it's also HIGHLY illegal. I was thinking of visiting the Pho restaurant in the same plaza, but my experiences with these two spots made me nix that decision. Businesses can be reported and fined by their local business license office for this type of practice and I've even seen customers at nail salons in Atlanta have the police called on them (by owner) because of price discrepancies. And when the police arrived, they made the owners honor the prices posted on the wall. Overall Overall, this should be a 1 star (substandard service and pricing discrepancy), but I just don't feel comfortable rating them 1 star when their overall Yelp rating is already so low. I wish them the best, but I would never go back and do not recommend.
