I took my wife here for a couples massage for her birthday. She has been to many spas before, so she had a good sense of what to expect. The front office staff were very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, the actual massage experience was somewhat underwhelming for both of us. In fact, certain areas felt more aggravated afterward rather than relaxed. My wife also mentioned that at most spas, there's usually a space to sit and unwind after your session, but here we felt like we had to remain in the lobby just to drink water, which took away from the overall experience. During my massage, something was placed over my eyes that I initially thought was a towel, but later found it was I believe was the cover of the head rest. My wife did not have anything placed over her eyes, so the experience seemed inconsistent. I did leave a tip, but overall, we're unsure if we would return. The owner never came to check on me. The therapist kept insisting I get ready for my next service. I struggled alone to get up, get dressed, and walk out in excruciating pain. When I reached the lobby barely able to move, the owner sat with arms crossed, showing no concern. She didn't introduce herself, didn't stand to address me, and treated the situation with complete indifference. Blame-Shifting Instead of Accountability Both therapist and owner repeatedly implied the injury was my fault--a pre-existing condition--despite: Never experienced this injury before Felt the exact moment of improper technique Intake paperwork noted no prior neck injuries This was clearly negligence, not pre-existing Complete Lack of Accountability After Injury: No accountability - Owner treated me like I was taking advantage, not as an injured paying customer Broken promises - Agreements to issue refund check were never honored No empathy - I incurred $500+ in medical expenses (doctor visits, co-pays, treatments, travel), owner showed zero concern Refund mishandling - After agreeing to issue check (my card was cancelled due to fraud alert from unknown charge from this spa), owner issued refund to cancelled card anyway without informing me Boundary violations - After requesting all communication via mail, owner disregarded this professional boundary Industry Expert Perspective: This Is Dangerous As someone who trains spa owners worldwide on safety protocols and duty of care: this establishment presents a serious safety risk. In my training programs, I teach what to do when clients are injured: Immediately check on them Offer assistance Show concern and empathy Take full responsibility Follow up to ensure wellbeing This spa did NONE of these things appropriately or timely. Instead, they left me alone, showed indifference, and blamed me for their employee's negligence. I'm a woman of faith who prayed about this situation and hoped to resolve it as fellow believers and businesswomen (I'd even patronized the owner's faith-based coffee shop). Unfortunately, I've been consistently disregarded, invalidated, and treated as an afterthought. I cannot recommend this spa. If something goes wrong--and based on other reviews, this isn't isolated--you'll be on your own. I booked a custom facial with Ty'Beria. The facial specifically said steam among other treatments. Upon walking in the receptionist never spoke to me. A sweet employee welcomed me in and invited me to sit in the waiting area. The aesthetician was sweet but seemed very inexperienced. She took a bowl of water out of a warmer to wash my face and had product in a paint tray. There was no steam. I asked her about it, she left and got the steamer. Look, bottom line. Sadly I will not be visiting this business again. Be cautious about your massage provider and call ahead to make sure you have not been switched to a different provider even after your email confirmation. I experienced what I wouldn't in LEAST consider a relaxing "massage" from a newer therapist at this establishment. I was made aware that my requested therapist was not who would be providing my massage after I drove 45 mins and planned my day around this. I have tried 3 therapists Kelly (great), Liana (great), Sydney (relaxing) but not quite the pressure I needed for my neck issues. This experience was booked for Liana but the owner, Sunny, switched me to their newest 1 star reviewed therapist without my knowledge or consent. After I stated I was not comfortable with this change, the receptionist informed me that it was standard practice for this to happen!!!! (That is not REMOTELY industry standard). I was very disappointed but was assured my service would be the same level of care........it was not. The therapist turned the bright room lights off and on several times during my massage and had the most aggressive, speedy strokes for a Swedish massage that I have ever experienced. I was told several times to relax but my anxiety was so high it was hard to keep from getting off the table and leave. I left feeling very tense and much more uncomfortable than when I came in. A small side note, confirm price and "specials" when you book and get it in writing. Through time I have visited them on Massage Mondays when there was a small discount. I didn't receive this discount when I checked out and was informed later it never existed....I've literally been three times in the past year on a Monday and had the discount....Anyways.. All this to say, I emailed the business and explained my circumstances and received a very curt reply from the owner Sunny, which will be attached to this review. I am hard pressed to review this business as a "spa" as it seems more of a money making venture for Sunny than caring for her years long clients :( read more

I cannot express how happy I am for finding this gem. They were very professional on the phone in setting up my eyebrow wax appointment and very welcoming when I arrived. The smell of this spa is absolutely nice. Clean, fresh and well taken care of. My technician was very sweet and punctual. Her name is Destiny. Y'all she's the sweetest. Decided on the advice of my massage therapist to get a facial. As a guy, this isn't something I was comfortable doing or even having the experience of. After going to this location I am sold and would tell any guy that the Signature Facial offered here is a definite "must do" at a minimum twice a year. They recommend quarterly but I'd say for a guy, minimum is twice a year. My esthetician was Catherine and I would recommend her for everyone. She helped me understand what was to happen and what to expect. She was talkative and allowed me to ask numerous questions. The procedure was easy and honestly very relaxing. Initially I was a bit nervous because I'd never done this but she truly helped calm my nerves and made things easy. So this was a day I needed! I had been looking forward to treating myself to a massage and facial. And they were amazing. I chose the Himalayan salt stone massage with reflexology added on. I normally go for deep tissue but I wanted to try something new. This was a fun experience with the stones! The massage itself was not deep but that's okay because I wasn't in dire need. Sydney was my massage therapist and she did wonderfully. It was all so relaxing she was putting me to sleep. Sorry for all the sleep twitches! So if you're looking for something different and very relaxing I recommend the stones. I've never done foot reflexology before but I will now! This is when I was definitely falling asleep. It felt so great! She has a light touch but it worked! I'm sure she has a variety of techniques and pressure. Sydney, you did amazing. My facial was with, I think, Christina?? Christine?? She was so sweet. What I enjoyed most was the fact that she actually massages my face. You know? Like stimulating my facial muscles. Most importantly around my eyes. When I called to book the appointment they told me that I had a gift card on file that would cover the expenses, but after I had the services done they told me that the gift card was expired and that I couldn't use the $60 that was on it. This was super misleading and I wouldn't have spent the money if I didn't already think that it was covered. From the moment when I walked in, Katie, my first point-of-contact when I had called to schedule, rolled out the VIP Treatment and I had a wonderful cup of Mint Tea while completing my paperwork. And I'm crazy about my creature comforts, but I loved my little teacup! I was in the hair biz for several decades and a shop owner; this spa is super clean and calming. Charlie was my massage therapist and I had a 60-minute therapeutic massage. It was relaxing, even though I had some serious build up of the toxins from months without massage. Nice decor and friendly staff. The deep pore facial left several blackheads and although initially not helpful the manager got back to me and gave me a redo at no charge which was great. It was relaxing but not the most thorough facial Ive had. Im used to the steam being used to open pores ( they do not have this) and thorough extractions so that none are left and also usually a hand and or foot massage but there was none. I am originally from Ohio and work in a day spa/ salon there. At my salon we use eminence products so while on vacation with my sister, I decided to schedule us facial appointments. I scheduled a microdermabrasion facial and was super excited because I get them every 4-6 weeks. This facial was the biggest waste of money. First off my esthetician was unorganized, still setting up while I was lying down ready to go. She said she didn't know how to use the microdermabrasion machine in the room because she uses a different one usually, and this was made very obvious to me later on. Starting the facial was okay but I was not impressed. She did not have a consultation with me about my skin, my problem areas, or even why I requested a microdermabrasion facial. The hand massage felt very half-assed and thrown in at a random time and there was no other massage included. The microdermabrasion machine took her a good 5 minutes to figure out and when she used it on my face it hurt and felt like rug burn. The suction was not consistent and either pulled way too hard or jumped over my skin. She did that for about 2 minutes and stopped, not even doing all of my face. My esthetician at home will spend about 10 minutes and is very thorough with it. Every product she put on afterword was burning and itching my skin. My skin was red and bumpy when I left and looked worse than before I came in. I do not recommend coming here. read more

Please stop." kind of experience for me. I'm a real stickler for the rules and cleanliness of the trade. So, my hopes weren't too high going in to Milan. My first visit was really pleasant. Nice enough for me to return. It's a very clean and friendly environment. I just returned home from my second visit. Kayla B. was my esthetician for an organic microdermabrasion treatment. She was really great! She was very professional, explained what was going to happen and why. She was really good at telling me which products she recommends and why, without being pushy to buy something. She was very sweet, relatable and knowledgeable. Her massage/cleansing movement techniques were very relaxing. She's really good at her job. I do not trust a lot of people to work on my skin. I highly recommend going to Milan and seeing Kayla B.
