I went here for the first time and they didn't give any info on where there colors were and gave me an appointment and asked if I could come early and than had me wait an hour past my appointment time. It was my second experience after almost 2 1/2 years when I first went to this place, and to tell you the true I didn't like it back at that time. So after so long I gave them another try and I was pleased, Rose, the lady who did my manicure did an awesome job, she was really quite, but her work was good. AND the fact that they charge $12.00 for a regular manicure, I think is fair, which I'm use to pay, (and moving from Miami, very spoiled) is ONLY regular manicure nothing fancy; because most of the places around Richmond Hill charge between $15.00 and $25.00 which I think is ridiculous just for a REGULAR manicure, give me a break and after all, all places do the same thing nothing out of this world, of course unless is more of a fancy manicure. They have become very expensive after charging $12.00 then $15.00 and now $19.00 for a regular simple one color manicure. Give me a break.

I called to see if they do shellac and I was told yes. My regular nail salon was closed for presidents day...anyway I go to get my nails polished and their shellac was a cheaper brand only cost $15. The color looks great, the shellac I got done at another salon cost $39 and lasted 3 weeks, never chipped. I will follow up with a review for how this job lasts. See photo of pink nails. update..... its been 5 days since I had the shellac paint done. it looks like near the tip of my nails it has faded some, which is weird. The real shellac did not do this. it hasn't chipped which is good. bottom line is a good value for what your paying for. read more

Came here last minute on a Saturday, the weekend of Easter. They were able to get us in so that's a plus. I had to wait like 45 min past our appointment time though. It was me and my husband and he only gets a pedicure and I get my nails. They did his feet first, which made no sense because I was getting 2 services done. They don't use the smartest way to soak off gel either. They soak one hand at a time... why not just wrap them like other places? I also asked for a manicure and didn't get one, they only re-gelled my nails, but I was tired of being there and just wanted to leave. read more

I've had OK experiences here in the past when I'm in a pinch, but this place has really gone down hill... the color selection is dismal. I had a gel manicure and the colors they do have, do not have matches for regular polish and the example colors you choose from for gel do not at all match what comes out of the bottle. They are old or watered down, my nails are very translucent and the color I selected did not have a regular polish match (although I was told it would) and they were about to paint a grey pedicure with the pale pink gel I had selected for my hands.... the regular polish selection is crusty and dated, it is unorganized and there is not too many in style styles and brands. Worse than the polish situation is the cleanliness, or lack there of. The whole place and their tools appear dirty and I did not see any cleaning or sanitizing equipment for said tools. The foot scrubber used on me could have been over a year old, it was so worn down and as thin, like a bar of soap that's been in the shower for a few weeks. Won't be coming back here. read more

On a Friday afternoon, it was pretty quiet when I went in but I had great and efficient service for my Mani/pedi. Plus, it's only $32 for a mani/pedi. I've paid much more elsewhere. Staff was nice, and they don't jip you on the foot massage while waiting for the pedi. They have a large space and lots of machines so it would be a good spot to bring a group. I came in here with my aunt on a Saturday afternoon. They were pretty busy when I first walked in but there are a lot of chairs and workers so they wait wasn't long. Andy took care of me and he did an awesome job. I was fairly hungover when I sat down and I honestly felt a lot better when I was done. He really took his time with my foot massage and with my nails. First impression was good. Very big salon with staff that spoke English rather well. Pedicure was clean, therapeutic, and polish was done well. Although my technician kept answering phone calls throughout my services. My gel nails were done way to thin and several nails chipped/broke the next day. Very nice place, great customer service, great job on my nails. This is the only nail salon that I have been in where the owners always greet customers and are extremely friendly and polite. I never had to wait long or had to come back because their staff doesn't know how to do nails and they have to rely on the only employee who can do full set to come back to work. This is your standard, typical, Vietnamese nail salon. It's pretty much exactly what I expected. I went in for a gel manicure and it was done differently than any other time I've had one done. I have been a consistent patron of this business since 2009. Well, back in 2015 the jell nails they did for me did not take due to old equipment. After returning three times for redos with no success they refunded my money and I went elsewhere. After 9 months, I decided to try them again to get my toes done. Well, after having toes done at 4 p.m. on a Monday and working out on the following Tuesday and polish came off in my socks. I retuned on Wednesday at 9 a.m. to have them redone. However, after working out again on Wednesday evening at 5 p.m., the same thing happened--polish came off in my socks. I called to express my disappointment and asked for a refund due to extensive travel and busy schedule and was told by Pete that they do not refund money, but they would redo my toes--which was fine. So, I retuned on Friday having prayed prior to walking in and asking God to help me be nice. After walking in, Mike, the manager recognized me immediately. He asked that I pick color and have a seat. No problem. I did so and Rose proceeded to change my polish. As I sat, Mike came up to me grabbed my arm tight and said, "We don't return money, we redo job. We return your money before, but can't do that no more!" And repeated it. I said, "Excuse me!" He immediately realized what he was doing and apologized for grabbing my arm so forcibly and proceeded to restate what he said. I said, "it wasn't about the money, it was about you being professional & providing a professional service." Upon leaving, I approached Mike and expressed how disappointed and unacceptable I thought his behavior was in addressing me earlier. I told him, "It was never about the money, I HAVE MONEY, but about having good customer service, which he had NONE. And whether the polish stayed on or not this time, I would NEVER return to his business, but may God Bless You." He never apologized. I could have him arrested for grabbing me.
