I called lovely nails after destroying my own cuticles and nails the night before and was seen 30 minutes later by Louie (spelling?). He took so much time and care making sure I didn't hurt while he gently removed my gel polish and repaired my cuticles. Louie took care to apply my gel polish in thin, consistent layers, and was not rushed at all. The salon was very clean, aesthetically appealing, and they had updated new nail polishes to choose from. Went there with my friend yesterday and was SEVERELY overcharged. It is said on their website their acrylics start at $30 and i was charged $75 and my friend was charged $65. Hers are very simple with an initial on them. They are maybe $55 MAX. Mine are simple orange french tips and once again, mine would be worth $60 MAX also. My friend also walked out with bleeding and bruised fingers. Will not be going back. read more

I asked for a manicure/ fill not even a week ago. The nail tech did not clean the back of my nails and I had to ask him to oil my cuticles. The acrylic was applied in a thick manner and the gel plodh has a bubbly finish! I paid $57.00 plus tip for metallic nails and they aren't lasting a week. I have to go somewhere else this week to get them redone. I won't go back there! read more

If I could post negative stars I would! This place was awful. We had an appointment, got there and waited for at least thirty minutes, while they took walk ins before us. Once we got seated they refused to believe I had gel on my nails so they soaked it for nearly an hour. They also scrapped them with a cuticle pusher that made them sore, and must have used a low quality polish. The next day they started to crack and peel. Over the course of the week my nails began to weaken and have cracked and split way down in the middle. They have never felt so thin and they still hurt. We were in there nearly three hours! It was brutal. I have never posted anything negative, ever. BUT, I feel the need to let everyone know that this place not only has terrible service but does a horrible job and will ruin your nails. My daughter was with me and her experience was even worse! She got French tips and left with tiny particles of dirt or something all throughout them. We were not staying to have them fix them!!!! Hers have split down low as well. She has always had very strong nails and was getting them done for graduation. Now, she is having to cut them all down extremely short. They have all broke and the polish has came off in chunks. read more

I went for a pedi and was placed in a pedi chair and cold water to put my feet in. When asked to get hot water, I was just looked at and literally ignored. I had to ask 3 times. Finally the girl that was assigned to me. Finished with another customer and half assed changed the water to hotter water. The girl doing my pedi ​was going so fast to try and get me done she snipped too much of my toe nail and it is now all swelled and very sore. I paid for the deluxe pedi and my heals are still rough. While sitting in the chair waiting for a rediculous amount of time with my feet in cold water. I have to say that for so many sitting around a and talking and not doing anything there should have been no reason! To have cold water nor to be in such a rush but more importantly to clean things. The bathroom as well was pretty dirty. I have only been one time before as I was in town for the holiday and it wasn't that bad is service. But this time. I will not be going back. When you a pedi you expect whom is taking care of you actually cares about the service they are giving when it comes to snipping skin and tow nails . My toe will be sore for some time to come. Do they care. Absolutely not. Will they miss me coming back. Absolutely not. Sad deal. This is my mother's regular place in which they lost her business too. What happened to people actually caring about the service in which they render? I paid 80$! I tip good. I'm respectful and I expect way better for my money. Simple advise.. go elsewhere for a pedi. Have no comments to nails. Only that they really need to do a serious clean! Slow the flip down and treat people for the worth in what you charge them!!!!!!!! read more

They only had 3 people working on a Friday. I waited two hours for them to complete my Dip manicure when they said it would be available right away. They took a total of 4 people who came in after me before I was finished! Very disappointed with the service today. read more

It was a nice place. Everything was sterile I got a pedicure and felt that I was done in a timely manner. The techs talk to you while you are waiting to make sure you are comfortable. I got the deluxe pedicure. After I was done with I needed eyebrow wax. It didn't hurt but when I was finished due to the amount of customers that were coming in she rushed and I didn't have an opportunity to look in the mirror. I got a full set of white tips on my first visit. I wasn't impressed. I guess I'm picky but I like for the acrylic to cover my entire nail and it didn't. My second visit I got a deluxe pedicure with gel polish. It was much better than the full set that I got on my first visit but nothing to write home about. I guess I expected more for $50. I'll go back for the pedicures since they are close to home but I'll find a different salon for my nails. read more

The man that did my nails took his time (which is good) but did not clean up polish that was on my cuticles and the gel started chipping in less than a week. Walked in for a gel French Manicure and was assigned an older gentleman. He did a terrible job. There were bubbles (small, but there) in the whites, the polish didn't go all the way to the sides, the nails were not all the same length, and, worst of all, I came away with cuts under 2 nails. That was a week ago. I already have a cop in one nail and I can see places I think will be prone to chipping. I'll baby them to get another 2 weeks out of the manicure, due to cost. I normally get 3 weeks from a manicure and only go back at that point due to growth. For $35 I expected much better. read more

LOVELY NAILS in Troy MO I will never set foot in that Salon again! I had my nails filled yesterday after work. I didn't pay much attention to the tech. HGTV was on need I say more lol but my bad I guess. I got home and noticed I had a ton of super glue under the tips of my nails kinda strange right? I'm at work today and start to realize the tips of every single nail but 1 has lifted. Annoyed at this point because I don't have time to go back to the salon 2 days in a row and nails are not cheap! But at this rate they would be off by Friday. So I stop back by on my way home from work. The owner comes to the counter said no problem sweetie I'll fix for you. I offer my receipt she tells me no she believes me and hands me the basket to pick my colors back out. Great I'm thinking they are gonna take care of me. HA She then tells me she will have the tech glue them. NO! I explained I think the tech had already tried that. Explained the super glue issues. She tells me she will file and fill then. I sit down with the tech and she starts on my nails and starts making funny faces and shaking her head at one point her mouth even drops. No exaggeration! She asked me if she could take the set off it could no be fixed. I agreed. Here comes the own Holly. Tells me that I have to pay more to have a full set put on or I can just have gell polish. Now let me get this straight your tech ruined my nails now I'm out the time and more money? So we argue back and forth and she tells me the tech was just trying to save me money?!? What the? I didn't ask you to save me money! The tech never told me I needed a new set she never asked to take the original set off. So I tell the own to take them off and give me a refund I'll go to someone else. She refused to refund me and then turns her head. The current tech that I feel bad for at this point looks very uncomfortable and is unsure what to do. So I asked Holly the owner how we would be handling this. She tells me if I was a regular costumer it would be different but since I'm not she doesn't want me to come back to her salon again! Wtf! Of course I told her she wouldn't have to worry about that! I assume she told the tech to just fix my nails and get me out. I'm not real sure she didn't say anything else to me. But about 10 mins later she then bad mouths me to the lady sitting next to me. Saying you can't be nice to people anymore. You see what happens when you try to save people money? I'm still dumbfounded. I have never had such a horrible fill or even worse customer services!
