My Sister in-law had scheduled Spa day, needless to say it was not relaxing. the tech that was doing my feet recommended dip on my nails because it was stronger than Gel. So why not I though Lets go for it After waiting for a while she proceeds to yell in the entire store as to why did I change my mind! I was stunned she continue to be Loud as to why I change my mind. So as any person would react I act what is it that you would like me to do. I just went with the original appointment with gel. Probably the worst nails I have ever gotten I only had them for a few days before my gel polish got bubbled and then Multiple nails have popped off before a week.. I got my nails done before my vacation so that they would look good but honestly they look like crap the whole time. Price was nice but I had to take time to get them fixed while out of town. I'm honestly shocked that so many people are "okay" with this place. It's small, cramped, hot, and really dirty. On top of that, the nail tech kept coming to check my nails as they were soaking in acetone and felt the need to announce very loudly that my nails are so thin. I go to get my nails done because I know they are awful, and making someone feel worse about themselves is not a great way to keep clients. There was a weird moment when one of the males there started yelling at someone else and it felt super confrontational. The whole experience was just odd. When I went to pay and expressed that I didn't feel I had been treated very kindly, the lady threw my receipt away and didn't bother to say another word. I just didn't get a caring vibe from this place from the moment I walked in, and I definitely won't be going back! people deserve to be treated better when they walk through your doors! read more

They offer a lot of services. Alex is obviously the owner and the preferred person for services. the other techs are lacking customer service skills. It is hard to relax with what comes across as snide comments among st the techs that are in a foreign language. My last tech was very pleasant but could not sell me any other services because she did not understand what I was asking. I wish I felt more comfortable there they are very close to home. read more

I got a gel mani/pedi and with tip it was$97, I got home and looked at my nails and they looked terrible with polish on most of my cuticles because the guy did not push my cuticles back. My toes were not the best either. Two days later My fingernail polish came completely up and I had to get glue to get it down. The north side of O'fallon is a small town, we usually try to avoid Hwy K at all costs, so the location of this nail salon is convenient. As far as everything else... Where to begin... I arrived at Nails on Main at 4:55pm, and I was finally sat in the chair for a pedicure at 6:40pm. Why I waited that long in the first place? Because I was the "next person" for an hour of the time waiting there. I wasted my entire night in a nail salon for a 15 minute pedicure. Ridiculous. Once she started, she asked me if I wanted the "blue goo" (let's just call it) and I asked what it was... She proceeded to stare at me and never answered my question. Turns out the "blue goo" is an extra $7 and I'm still not sure what it is (as I didn't get it.) The pedicure was okay, nothing special. I was asked several times while I was there, what I was there for- I stated every time "a pedicure and an eyebrow wax" Guess what? They forgot the eyebrow wax and proceeded to have me pay for the pedicure. Shocker. I didn't even ask for it at that point. Overall, I'm very disappointed in my experience here, and unfortunately I will never return. Nobody ever apologized for the wait, I wasn't offered money off for the ridiculous wait, that they made seem like, wouldn't take long. read more

The fist time i went here was about a year go to get a shellac manicure & it started peeling off at the very next day. I go back the next day and they said the guy used the wrong light to set the polish. instead of fixing all of my nails they just fixed my nails that were peeling so within a few days my entire manicure head peeled off. just recently I was in desperate need of a pedicure and they are very close to my house so I decided to try them again. I sat & waited over an hour and a half when I finally said something about it they were rude and put me in a pedicure chair and left me sit for another half hour. I will not be back ever no matter how bad I need my nails done. read more

They ignore appointment times. They take walk ins before an appointment even after I was sitting there 30 minutes after my appointment time. Made an appointment right when they opened at 10:00am...their employees showed up but the owners who have the keys showed up at 11:00am...1 hour late! No apologies made!!!!
