Do NOT and I repeat Do NOT purchase any item from any Love's location. I originally made my purchases at the Canton location when they first opened. If you have any questions prior to making a purchase feel free to message me and I can share every detail. End of August: We purchased a new home and went to Love's in Canton. We ended up getting help from a LEAD. Which is essentially someone similar to management, and supposedly one of the best. We ordered all of our items: Two couches with warranty, bed that comes with three different pieces, coffee table, and two side tables. I paid everything up front and was promised everything was already in stock prior to ordering and paying. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. I was told that the order would come Sep 5th. We got a text the night before and day of confirming. My husband took the day off work. At 1pm they texted saying due to unforseen circumstances they cant deliver. Turns out none of the items at all were in stock. I have talked to customer service about 20 times and the store itself 6 times. They told me they will then ship 3 separate shipments of Sep 15, and 22nd and 25th. I called the 15th and turns out "someone" changed it to 25th. Then they tried to claim they cant bring everything the 25th though because it wasnt fully scheduled and needs 10 days out minimum. They then said they will deliver everything Oct 3rd. I finally got my couches and then they brought the box spring (which was wrong) and they only brought two pieces of the bed. The bed cannot be put together without the third piece. So they inconveniently let the boxes there and said they cant take the box spring upstairs because its tight. LIE. My husband and I got it upstairs no issues. Called customer service, classic 30 minute wait to talk to someone and they said the truck "accidentally" left without rails. They confirmed and promised the rails are there and mine and will deliver on the next Saturday, a week out. They guaranteed no further issues and said the tables will come too. I call Oct 10 and the lady claims no one ever scheduled the rails and no one put me on waiting list for it and said now 7 people ahead of me claimed it. She said a manager will call me within 24 hours. I told them my cell because my husband works and 3 days later they called him during work. I then called in again and explained what happened. They said a manager would call me. No manager has called me at all. They changed my tables another three times and said estimated Nov 3rd delivery if in stock. Yesterday I finally cancelled those and requested a refund, and they claimed they need to call the store and I will get an email. So far no email. I will update. I requested they come pick up their bed pieces immediately and refund me as I can not use it without all parts. They said someone will "call" to schedule a pickup. This company lies at every turn. They tell you its no problem and that they have the items when they do not. They claim they cant schedule a delivery unless 10 days out minimum and then they lie again and tell you no one ever scheduled it. Do not waste your time or tears like I have. I purchased a home and this was the MOST stressful thing out of everything I had to deal with in the purchase process. The company did take off the $200 delivery after the 6th time changing the dates. They offered gift cards which I said I did not want because I will NOT be buying from a company that can not even delivery what I purchased. It's November 22nd and I STILL don't have a couch! It was promised to be delivered on 10/17. They didn't show, didn't call, nothing! I called them only to be told that they decided to move warehouses and that cause the delay. My new date would be 11/9. We bought an item first week of October. It was supposed to be in in 2 weeks. No one contacted us. It was almost impossible to get through to anyone at the store. Finally got someone from corporate who told us our item was back ordered (after waiting a month for it to arrive and no one calling us). They offered free deliver when it comes in in December. After 3 months our item was finally delivered. And it was missing parts! The driver told us the warehouse would call us to arrange for the missing pierces to be delivered. That was almost 2 weeks ago and no one was called us. I massaged the person at corporate who I finally got through to before and she said she would find out what was going on and contact me. We had to schedule 5 different days for our sectional to get delivered because Loves kept sending one piece at a time, and we were promised each time that it would be the last delivery with all of our pieces. So I had to waste numerous personal days at work. 2. Now we are onto the payment portion. After the 4th delivery attempt they decided to take off the delivery fee. Which would have been nice but, I have waited on multiple occasions over 45+ minutes to talk with anyone on the phone with no luck. They are trying to charge us double for a sectional now on the latest bill I received in the mail and no one will answer the phone. We have been told we would be compensated for all of these issues on top of not having to pay for the delivery. Guaranteed that will never come. 3. Can't wait for a warranty claim if we ever have to do one. **BUYERS BEWARE.** I have never experienced worst customer service than I did with this company. We were delivered a lumpy, defective mattress over a week ago. We contacted them immediately to get the issue resolved. The best they could offer is a replacement mattress in 4 weeks! After the original mattress already took 4 weeks to get here. And even then the 4 week lead time was just an estimate (it could be longer). I asked to speak to a supervisor or "lead" as they called it. And they assured me that one would be in contact with me later that day. The lead never called me back. This happened for 3 days straight. I would call, wait on hold for almost an hour, be assured someone would call be back within an hour and then no call. On one of the calls they even said that the return was never initiated and they had to redo it and tacked on another week to the estimated delivery date. By day 5 I was fed up. I ordered a new mattress from another company and called to cancel this order and to schedule a time for them to pick it up. After 3 hours on the phone on and off hold they finally told me that they would have someone there the following Monday to pick up the mattress. Monday came and no one had showed up by 4 pm so I called again. After 40 mins waiting finally someone answered and basically said she had no clue what happened but they didn't have a truck available for 2 weeks to pick it up. At this point that is where i am at. Disappointed, frustrated and upset. There are so many other small details that only make the situation worse. But the fact of matter is, I spent $2,700 a lumpy defective mattress that I now have to store for 3 weeks before they can come and get it before I can my refund. Purchased a couch from here a few weeks ago. We were assured the couch was in stock and set the delivery for 10/30. Didn't hear about the delivery, so we called them. Spent 45 minutes on hold for them to tell us the couch wasn't in stock and it MIGHT be available on 11/18. Took another 45 minutes to get someone at the store on the line. Apparently one of the items isn't available, but didn't let us know. Super annoying to be waiting around all day, only to find out it will be another 18 days. The only 'fix' offered was to waive the $170 delivery fee when the couch actually arrives, if that ever happens. read more

Loves earns one star instead of zero because they were helpful when we were looking and they always greeted us kindly. However, we ordered a set of dining room chairs, which were mismarked in the clearance area as 2 for $70. They informed us that they weren't two for anything, and also they were supposed to be $90. However they would honor the price (though not the 2 for deal), and it was a good deal and we needed an entire set, so we purchased. They gave us a pick up date. And encouraged us on that date to call in and double check. So we did. No chairs. But they would be in the next day, so we called the next day. We were told trucks don't deliver on that day, so call the next day. We did and they weren't on that truck either. And so it went, calling and being told different dates and NEVER being contacted, and clearing our schedules to pick them up. On one date they assured us they would be there, we went to pick them up. No chairs. Again, no contact, again clearing our schedule. This happened again, and that time they told us all the chairs in the warehouse were broken, so it would be another month. We wait another month, again go up there, clearing our schedule, receiving no contact. Again, no chairs. My husband finally canceled the order nearly 2 months after the original "pick up date" and never at any point were we contacted or any consideration given to us. Delivery date early November: two more pieces arrive. We find out that the reclining sectional portion is broken. Requested replacement. Talked to customer service, they have no notes of our previous calls. They tell us that the November 23rd date will be the final one and we will receive the replacement piece and final part of the sectional. Today, November 23rd: delivered the replacement piece. No sign of the last part of the sectional. Called customer service for the 5th time. Ask if there is anything they can do/when will the final piece be delivered. In-store was fine. Found what I needed, helpful sales staff, decent enough pricing. But delivery? Ughhh. I didn't have the months-long delays everyone else had, but I had a separate set of issues. The delivery guys were physically not big enough to carry this furniture. I felt awful for them. And I had to help them (not just because I felt bad but because they were destroying my doorways while trying to bring the items in). So, in sum, I paid an extra however-many-hundred dollars for "white glove service just to lug the furniture in myself. THEN once they're in, the electronics on one recliner didn't work, and one of the buttons on the side was just straight up broken. On the other recliner, it worked but one of the reclining motors was grinding really loudly when being used. To top it off, one item from the order was missing. It'd be fine if someone told us that item wasn't coming until later, but no one told us anything and the (now-exasperated) delivery guys didn't know anything about it. Speaking of those delivery guys: they also had no idea what to do about the broken button, the grinding motor, or the electronics that didn't work. The delivery guys assured us there was nothing they could do....about anything. They had that look in their eyes like "if i comment on anything i'll be fired." They told us to call customer service. So began the second leg of this terrible experience. My wife and I both call customer service immediately after the delivery guys leave. The call line was long so we opted to leave our numbers to be called back. Mistake. It's been a week and no one called us. So I just went to the store today. They told me the only thing I can do is call, and that they have no one on-site who can help us. But the lady says to be sure to press 0 to get through. So i call again, and press zero, and i and opt not to have them call me back. So i wait. And i wait. And i wait. About half an hour total. Eventually someone answers and she tells me that i shouldn't have hit 0. And she can't help me. So she transfers me to another department. As I type this, I am on hold with *that* department. This is absolutely absurd. Update: we're up to 1 hour total hold time. Still waiting. Update: we're up to 90 minutes total hold time. Still waiting. Update: it has been about a week. The person I spoke with after after being on hold for two hours told me that the piece of our order that had not arrived was scheduled for me to pick it up. I most certainly never agreed to that, because I have no way to pick it up. Otherwise I would've picked up the rest of the order too, and saved myself a big delivery fee. So add that to the list of things that make no sense about this I filed a warranty claim through the third-party warranty service app with respect to the grinding motor in the recliner. Just now I went to check the status, and the claim was canceled. We never received notification that it was canceled. We never received an explanation as to why it was canceled. And when I tried to use the app to contact/ask them, it freezes and crashes. I have never been simultaneously so irritated and embarrassed for a business. Loves Furniture & Mattress Like other reviewers, I had a nice enough experience in the store but have had an absolutely awful experience since. I had a family member at the house for the delivery as I am in health care and cannot work from home. When I got home after the delivery, there was a gouge in the threshold of my floor and one side of my new power recline sofa catches and gets stuck. That side of the couch is visibly uneven. I have called customer care multiple times over the past week and left my number for a call back at least three times as well as emailing customer support with a photo of my floor and with a video of the improperly functioning couch. I have not heard back. Today, I called the Canton store where I purchased my couches and explained the situation. I was told that I could be transferred back to customer care. A store employee continued to explain how customer care would help me and when I interrupted him to explain how many times I called customer care and how I did not want to be placed on hold for an hour with no resolution. I was told by this employee that that was "a little rude" and that he was going to place me on hold to cool down, and then we could talk. While I did raise my voice to be heard, I did not yell, use bad language or say anything rude directed towards this employee. After sitting on hold for about three minutes, the line was disconnected. I can't believe that this is consider acceptable. I have never had such a bad experience trying to resolve an issue over the phone. If you have not yet made a purchase at Loves, my advice is don't. Find someplace that trains its employees and will take care of you if there are any issues after the sale. read more

Our delivery date has been moved up 3 times and the location that we purchased from has since closed. I was forced to give them one star, this store deserves 0. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. When we placed our order in early November, other furniture stores were telling us 14-16 weeks because of COVID. When we went into Love's in Canton, we were told most of the furniture that we saw was in stock (75%). That clearly was a LIE. We ordered a couch, oversized chair, 2 recliner chairs, ottoman, and 3 end tables. Everything except the tables was to be delivered late November. Delivery shows up with couch and one recliner. Delivery guy says they just deliver, has no idea about rest of order. Leave 3 messages for sales guy, never calls back. Ask for sales manager, sales guy magically becomes available. Next delivery we get an ottoman and the tables. One table damaged. Messages not returned, etc etc. A couple of promised dates on the rest of furniture were missed. Replacement table delivery comes with a guy and a box asking for a knife and tools...LOL Just got my cancel call from Love's for today, and we have two pieces to go still. Bottom line - if you buy from this store, be prepared to be disappointed and don't believe them on timelines, etc. Also, be prepared to spend a lot of time on the phone and be ready for a lottery on when you will get your furniture. I recently purchased a new bed and frame at Loves Furniture in Canton. I bought the bed and was promised it would arrive before Thanksgiving. I needed it for company staying over. The bed arrived as promised - but my guests were NOT able to sleep on the bed. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The 3 gentlemen who came to install the bed and frame did not do the job correctly. The drawers came apart that same day. I was quite upset and called my salesperson. A week later 2 different gentlemen came to my home. Their names are Thomas and Joey and are from the Warren Warehouse. They not only corrected all the problems from the previous team of installers, but they were courteous and thorough. Also, explained to me where the problems (from the initial install) occurred. They were very meticulous in the repair process. We have had an awful experience with Canton Love's Furniture & Mattress.  My husband and I ordered a Mattress that was supposed to be delivered on 11/3/20, we had our old bed/mattress donated the same day that we were supposed to get our new mattress.  The delivery never happened, when I called they couldn't figure out what happened...we now do not have a mattress and I told them that.  Called on 11/4, they still couldn't figure out where the mattress was.  Spoke to Erin, one of the managers and she seemed to be helpful over the phone, but when my husband and I went in to talk to them on 11/5, she never said one word to us, she never apologized to us, she only addressed our salesman.   Awful Customer Service!  We were told it would be delivered on 11/8, (in the meantime we were still sleeping on couches).  Then we were told it would be delivered on 11/12.   They came...they brought just the base and NOT the mattress.  We were livid!  I called the corporate office and they offered me a $50 gift card.  I don't want to ever shop there again, I told them no Thank you, they need to do more than $50 Gift card.  In the meantime not one person has called to help us out.   I told them they needed to do right by us as unhappy customers and they STILL haven't done one thing for us.  Our mattress was finally delivered on November 14.   We love the mattress, but we are so upset they have not reached out to us.   Every time I call the Canton Love's store no one answers the phone.  I have left several messages to have someone call us and still nothing. We bought a dining set and a King bedroom set on Labor Day which was supposed to be delivered at the end of September. We received a call the day of delivery to let us know that they were only delivering the free tv and our dining table top without legs. We had rearranged our work schedules for that delivery day and weren't even notified that it would be a partial delivery. We told them to hold off until the order was complete. 2 weeks later on the rescheduled delivery date, we received another call on the day of delivery that the furniture was 'unavailable as it was 'moved to a new warehouse'. No notice from Love's and again work schedules were rearranged. The manager of the store in Canton had no answers for my wife and actually had the nerve to tell her to call the credit card company if she wanted a refund on the interest that had accrued on the purchase that we had nothing to show for. Where do I start....ordered couch, 2 'chairs, ottoman, buffet, coffee table and end tables on Sept 6, also paid 200$ for delivery. Tables were backordered so I had to pick up when they came in Sept 29. Couch and 1 chair were damaged. Buffet was not delivered. Called and set up delivery of buffet, and replacement couch and chair. Sept 29 comes. Day I'm supposed to pick up my tables. No one calls, I have to call and I'm told they didn't come in. They tell me another truck is coming the next day to call and see if they come in on that truck. I call again. No tables they tell me to call again in 3 days, another delivery truck was coming in, see if they come in on that truck. I call, no tables. They tell me to call AGAIN in a few days when another truck came. I had to get upset and say "I'm not going to call every time a truck comes in to see if my tables came in! They were supposed to be in on the 29th, why doesn't anyone know where they are or when they'll be in???" Talked to a supervisor who told me they could instead deliver the tables, they were still backordered and would be in on Oct 29. Irritated, but I can wait. The next delivery of the replacement couch and chair comes, Replacement chair was damaged, looked like a box cutter cut, pillows on couch were also damaged, we just chose the best ones between the 2 couches so we could have an undamaged couch without having to have another delivered. Had to call to get a new undamaged chair. Set up another delivery. Buffet is delivered another day. No problems. A delivery comes again with the replacement chair, they brought the WRONG chair, so they take it back with them. I still have the damaged chair. I have to call again (keep in mind each time I call I have to hold 30-60 minutes before I get to talk to a person) I'm told I will be sent a gift card for the troubles. The chair however is now backordered and they don't know when it will be in. They set up a delivery estimate for November 22. October 29 comes, tables are supposed to be delivered. I'm waiting at home, around noon I get a call that they still don't have the tables and they are now estimating them to be in on Dec 22. Why they didn't call before the actual time they were supposed to be arriving so I didn't take a day off for nothing, is beyond me. I'm pretty mad now. I'm told I will be refunded the $200 shipping charge. No refund went through, I called again, they said they would process it. No refund processed. The giftcard they promised never came either, which is fine because I will never shop here again. Another delivery for the chair. Finally I have the replacement and it is not damaged. 6 deliveries later, SIX days I didn't go to work because I had to be home for deliveries....and I still don't have the tables. December 22 comes. No call no show on table delivery. I had even called a week before to make sure it was still on track for delivery so I didn't take another day off for nothing. Now I'm mad. I call and wait for 3 hours to get a person on the phone who told me one of the tables was in stock, but the side tables are still backordered so they just cancelled the delivery. I'm angry, they could have delivered the table they DID have since I've been waiting four months now and took the day off for a delivery, and at the least they could have CALLED me instead of just letting me wait all day. He rescheduled delivery of one of the tables for (today) December 29, and schedules the 2 side tables in Feb. I insist he refunds my shipping, and compensate me for all the time off I've taken from work since I've had to be home 7 times now for deliveries they keep not showing up for. He refunds 10%, 300$. Delivery date today comes and guess what? No call no show!! They even confirmed my delivery by email AND phone yesterday and no showed after I waited home all day AGAIN. I call again and she tells me they suspended all deliveries as of this morning, apparently without calling to let anyone know? She can't set up a delivery date for whatever reason but said the earliest she can get it here is Jan 19. But I have to call another day to schedule it. In between all of this, I've left out details of phone calls with a promise to call me back, never got a call back. Putting in email requests where they get back to you within 3 days, no one ever does and the enter your phone number for a call back option doesn't actually work, you won't get a call back. This company comes up with excuse after excuse, doesn't fulfill anything they say and will take your money and string you along with fake delivery dates . So here I am, 4 months later, SEVEN days off work for deliveries, hours on end of phone calls and I still don't have my furniture. Oddly they told me they suspended all of their deliveries just this morning, yet on social media today they are still advertising sales with fast and easy delivery. Moved into a new house. Placed an order that was 3 weeks out. Made sure to let the salesperson know that we needed something that would be relatively in stock soon as we had no seating. He said yup! Shows delivery for day after thanksgiving! Perfect placed order for couch and chair. Went in next day to pay- delivery confirmation day after thanksgiving. A week later called to confirm - delivery confirmation for day after thanksgiving. Here we are day after thanksgiving, when they came to deliver they had the wrong items and didn't even have the couch! Tried to call customer service LONG await- went into store- "this shows it wouldn't even be in stock until mid December!" I asked if it said that the whole time- she said yes! So three people lied to me and we have been sitting on the floor for three weeks. Asked for something comparable- and they didn't have anything and would not price match. Ended up canceling our order- very awful customer service. I just wish I wasn't lied to at the beginning about the time frame and they were upfront. read more

I ordered a mattress and box spring, set delivery date, confirmed all was in stock as I needed it by a specific time for guests. Delivered on the date and time specified however only received box spring. I was not told that I would not be receiving my mattress ahead of time and was only made aware by my delivery driver as he was 5 mins away. I called SEVERAL numbers and spoke to both the Canton store as well as the Warren warehouse. No one had any idea why I hadn't received the mattress and was not able to give me any answers. They could only send EMAILS to the delivery department and wait for a response/explanation as to why it was not on the truck. I ended up finding an in stock mattress elsewhere and cancelled the rest of my order. Terrible customer service, and terrible problem solving skills. I was blown away at the lack of answers, explanations, and competence by several departments. There are too many bed/furniture stores in metro Detroit to be this incompetent. Spend your hard earned money and precious time somewhere else. read more

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. EVER. PERIOD. If I had more time I would file a law suit. We were told our mattress was in stock and would be delivered on a specific date. The date came and went and there was no delivery. We did receive a couch and chair we ordered, however, the chair arrived broken and the delivery guys damaged our wall. We've yet to receive a new chair or funds to fix our wall. Then, two weeks later, we received a call saying a delivery was scheduled which we assumed would be our missing mattress. Instead, they called to say they were delivering the same couch and chair again without realizing they had already delivered them! If we were dishonest people we could have gotten away with receiving those items again for free and they never would have known. I have no idea how this company expects to stay in business. We are still without our mattress. If I had more time I would file a law suit. I would give zero stars on this review if that was an option but I had to select at least one. read more

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Love's. I purchased a couch in August, which could not be delivered for 1 month. When it was delivered, they only delivered half (it is a sectional) and one of the items that was delivered was damaged. The delivery driver assured me the remainder would be delivered in days; however, upon calling customer service, I was informed that the other pieces could not be delivered for an additional 3 weeks. I spoke with 4 people about refunding the delivery charge, all of whom agreed to the refund but had to "elevate the request to a manager" - none did. I finally went in to the Canton, MI store (where I purchased the couch) to complain - only to deal with the store manager, who was the rudest person I ever dealt with in retail customer service. Also, at the store, there were an additional 3 customers at the store complaining of the exact same problem I had (in fact, no one was in there actually buying furniture). This, along with the fact that 5 people I directly spoke with (including a store manager), plus 4 managers to whom the matter was elevated to, all failed to address Love's horrendous customer service, tells me that poor service IS the company culture. Love's Furniture will not take care of you - and will then act as if you are wrong for complaining. read more
