My first impression is that the parking is terrible. But I did change my mind somewhat after realizing there's a back parking lot. It's just not visible right away when you come into the station and pull in for gas. There's limited parking in the front, and the parking on the left is strictly for McDonald's. After driving a circle around the lot, I found the back parking, which is a lot of effort when you're trying to find a spot just so you can pee, get some food and get back on the road. I did find a gas pump though, and I was grateful not to find any that were out of service. There's nothing very special about this place except that there's a chicken place next to the McDonald's. It's reasonably clean. It's literally right across from the New Mexico border, across the freeway from the Wet n Wild. It's located in a spot where if you've driving endlessly through Texas, it's a huge relief to realize the awful drive is eventually going to end. Would recommend this place just for the sake of a quick sanity check before driving again. read more

There was no problems at the pump. Gas prices were great. They have propane. The store was organized. Prices were as expected. The little deli bin had hard boiled eggs, sandwiches, yogurt and more. There's fresh fruit. A soda station. A coffee station--praise Jesus. They had everything I needed. And Dennys is attached--yum. Staff were fantastic. I guess there's showers...the PA announced something about a shower being ready. read more

What can I say about Love's Gas Station. I mean, they have a cleaner restroom than other gas station. What makes this gas station so cool is that when u exit, you're leaving the state of New Mexico and when you get back on the freeway Texas welcomes you lol. read more

I love Love's Travel Stops. Since I retired, we've started doing more driving trips and vacations and I've come to depend on truck stops for gas, clean restrooms, food and other services. I particularly like the Love's truck stops (or Travel Stops). They are consistently clean, well-stocked and offer a variety of food options. In addition to the normal truck stop fare (roller dogs, etc.), this location also has a McDonald's and a chicken franchise. It's a gas station. And maybe I'm a little harsh, but I think the $20 a week or more that I spend at multiple gas stations qualifies me as a gas station snob. It would take a hell of a lot more for a gas station to really impress me, for me to feel like it's more than just the standard...but this Love's would be a great stop for anyone traveling a long distance. I've been two times now...once to grab candy after a trip to the Whoopee Bowl Antique Mall and again for some gas on the way back from Albuquerque. My jaw hit the floor on my first trip when I saw they carried Haribo. I was raised on Haribo gummy bears. So hell yes to that. Food options are good here and I didn't check out the bathrooms but they have 'em. Clean, friendly and quick. Good place for a stop into or out of EP. read more

Most of these travel stops have well kept doggie runs which are fenced, clean, with baggies provided.

I stopped to get gas and put in credit card and it was accepted. I clicked on the premium button and it said to pump but it did not cancel the previous persons information and would not let me pump. I had to cancel the sale because the pump would not work. Once the pump started working I noticed the price was 10 cents higher. This is a form of price gouging because the gas pump accepted my payment but would not let me pump at the former price. I had to cancel the sale and then redo it at the higher price and pay 10 cents more per gallon. Please stay away from this gas station. I will never return. I think this is highly unethical. read more

I love stopping here when traveling. Great place to fill up on gas, stretch legs, grab some snacks or take out food, and the restrooms always have plenty of stalls so there usually isn't a wait. Right on the border of Texas and New Mexico. Cashier Rabecca was friendly and patient with a line of people but also got everyone taken care of in a timely manner. This is my favorite place to stop halfway on my trip back and forth between Odessa, TX and Tucson, AZ. Bathrooms are clean with wall separators and plenty of stalls. The attached McDonalds and Chicken place are surely a plus. read more

Very bad customer service, was not greeted when I entered the business. The employee Yasmin G. Was the cashier and was very rude and not helpful at all. This truck stop overall is pretty good but I have a complaint every time I wash my hands on the men's bathroom the water is boiling hot one can't even wash your hands , face or even brush your teeth at all . we are right now on the middle of the summer and the water it's super hot at unbearable temps :/ read more
