I was traveling I-10 West towards Houston and needed to fuel up the rental and grab something to drink. It's been a long time since I've stopped to buy gasoline at a Love's, most of my experience with Love's Travel Stop is to fuel my diesel Motorhome in the trucker's fuel islands so it was nice to compare the service and amenities on this side of the business. The fuel pumps were very well maintained and the entire area was clean and organized. After filling the tank I went inside for a restroom break and to grab a drink and a fuel receipt. The restroom was clean and after grabbing a fountain drink I went to the counter and was greeted by the friendly attendant - he was very polite and professional and bagged a few bottles of water I decided to purchase while walking to check out. Today's visit was a good experience and I was in and out without delay, I'd stop in again if the opportunity presented itself...

Last fuel fill up before heading home. Place looked clean... employees content. Not too many customers. Food was-a-cooking and salads looked fresh. I noticed during my trip that they have a survey on bathroom cleanliness. I went in and it wasn't filthy but def needed a good ol wipe down and a light sweeping. The only thing that caught my eye was how employees came in and left without picking up. (What if it's not their job? I say one company, one team) I will always love their merchandise.

3.5 Stopped at Love's for gas and bathroom break. The store was big and had lots of stuff you can buy. It wasn't crowded with a lot of people. The bathrooms were clean and had many stalls and were stocked with paper towels and toilet paper. This place had several choices of fast food. Chester's Chicken, Godfather's pizza express, and Arby's. It's a decent place to stop.

Love's. Not to be confused with Lovers, which is what your sister, mother and gf used to be in relation to me. Still sort of are on the DL. Anyway. Much better than Hate's, significantly better than Dislike's, and a little better than Like's. On par with Adore's and Admire's. Located in Beaumont, not to be confused with B.O. Mont, which is the smelliest place in Texas. Love's in Beaumont has everything you would want from a truck stop. We come here often, literally and figuratively. It's busy and has a range of different foods, and it's right off the highway where it needs to be. Having said that there are a few issues - especially service. Not friendly at all. The gas is cheap so I like that about it. So a mixed experience really. Not to be confused with Lobe's, which is a place that sells ears bitten off by Mike Tyson and cut off by Van Gogh. Speaking of which, in Chicago, when they steal your van, you say "where did my Van Gogh." And when they steal your car, I say "where'd Chicago." Of all my Loves, Barbie was definitely the hottest. And least jealous of the other Loves too. And she's had plenty of her own. And we Loves it. Not to be confused with Lusts, which is a much sexier truck stop, but doesn't stay open long, and definitely not forever. Also, did you know - I was driving this way with Hugh Grant. He said "old chap, I'm uh... terribly sorry to bother you but uh... I was thinking that perhaps possibly we might uh... that one might be able to uh... stop at the Flying J motorway service station?" I was like, "sure Hugh, but it's Love's, Actually."

This was a nice place to stop all our trip from Louisiana to Texas. They had a lot of different hot food items to choose from, lots of hot dogs & sausages of different varieties, burritos etc. or you can head over to the pizza place. The store was very well kept, clean & orderly. Lots of souvenirs and all kinds of things to buy. The restrooms here were very clean and well maintained which is important when you're traveling and need to stop. Overall this is a good truck stop, definitely one of the better ones.

The only Arby's in SE TX. That alone makes me a frequent customer! Love those sandwiches with horseradish sauce!

Well, Baytown Buc-ees was my 4th in a series of stops around the southern United States. My only…read moreregret was not stopping at the one in MS, but I really wanted stop in Biloxi and get to New Orleans. I had also just stopped in Alabama and spent a fair amount of time at that Buc-ee's location. Baytown Buc-ees was a stop I made at about 3:30pm on 6/10/26 and I knew I was going to battle Houston traffic to get to Austin! I was able to purchase some nuts and snacks here and the store was consistent with other stores in the chain-- tons of food, super clean restrooms, mesmerizing merch, and plenty of gas pumps. Along with my love of Buc-ee's, I also have a ton of perks at Starbucks and was pleased to see that there was a store next to Buc-ee's. I was able to get a cold brew and be on my way in 30min. Fastest Buc-ee's/Starbucks stop on my trip! I guess it possible to do a quick stop at Buc-ee's, but before I left I saw a manager and asked her if this was the first Buc-ees and she said in a polite TX voice, "No sir, we are store #34" She also let me know that the first store was in Clute, TX. Knowledgeable staff!! Since I live near the first Chipotle I was curious. I didn't get to visit the 1st Buc-ee's store or the first In and Out Burger on this trip but there will be more. :) I did visit the first KFC and museum in Corbin KY! lol
