I'm traveling from Florida to California towing a trailer. At a rest stop, I checked my tires. I was freaked out to find chunks missing from the tread. I knew the tread was pretty much at its end and I planned on replacing them when I got home, but this was alarming. I spent the next three hours driving, sure I was going to blow a tire and kill myself. I stopped for the night and couldn't sleep stressing about the I decided to replace them asap. I pulled out my phone, and with some website juggling, found an RV park and a Discount Tire store close to each other. I reserved two nights, as I usually have to wait a day or two for the tires to come in. I called around one in the afternoon. They had the tires and could put them on that afternoon! I was road weary and tired, so I asked for first thing in the morning. I showed up at 8am. After inspecting all 4 tires, it was suggested to replace all of them. I was going to do that anyway when I got back to California, so why not now. Now here's the magic part.... Austin, who I was taking care of me said he could get the extra two tires immediately and have me out the door in less than 90 minutes. Sounded good to me. While the extra two tires were being delivered, they removed the old tires and the rims were ready as soon as they got there. True to Austin's word, I was back on the road by 9:30. So today I decided that today was the day that I was going to go and get myself a new tires and rims for my car. Once I got there the parking lot was full there were people everywhere and the Stalls where the car was were to be fixed we're all busy. I ordered my rims and tires on yesterday and they said that they will be ready on today so I decided to go on in and let them put my new tires in my new rims on the car today. I walked in and everyone was so nice. This nice gentlemen standing in the parking lot to greet everyone was very nice he asked me what was I having done today. I told him I was getting wheels and tires put on my vehicle. He notified me that they were kind of busy so it's going to probably take a little while for them to get to me, but I told him that was okay. I came prepared to wait so I was totally fine with that. Once he got my information I headed inside and sat down. I was only seated a few minutes when the nice guy at the counter I think his name is Alex asked me to approach the counter and asked me what was i having done today. I explained to him that I was there to get tires and rims placed on my vehicle he went over all my order and sat down and waited. I was there about two and half maybe three hours. Discount Tire in Beaumont is a decent place to get your tires or have them repaired. They do their best to try and help you and are willing to do what they can. It is a corporate so there is only much they have in their control. They can be helpful but when they are busy it can be hit or miss. read more

Went to get my tire patched and the guy tried to get me to get a new tire. I told him no and kept on. Told him my husband didn't want to spend that much money and he said well I guess he knows better. Went home after they patched it and car was vibrating soooooo bad. My husband and I bought new tires for our up coming road trip . We spent more than we had liked, but that's okay. What's not okay, is when you spend over $1,100 on new tires , then 3 days later , 3 out of your 4 new tires are leaking air from an improper seal . We had absolutely no issues with the previous set, other then they were wearing down, never any leaking. When we went back and explained what was going on , we were told there was nothing they could do to help, the seal was broke when the new tires was placed and we would have to purchase new rims. Not the answer we expected . We decided to go to a local tire shop and they were very helpful and fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes , for $10.00. We should have went there in the first place . Took my tires in for a warranty issue, they were cupped. Two managers agreed, a claim number was issued, the replacement tires were chosen, and that's as far as it went. They would never return my calls, and when I did speak with a manager, all I got was the run a round. My wife and I live on the NW side of Houston. Our son was working out-of-state when we stopped to visit his wife and 5 children in Orange, TX, on Monday, May 15, 2017. That's when she discovered she had a slow leak in a tire. She called two local tire shops at 5:25 PM, explained the situation, and was told, "Sorry, we're closing." I couldn't imagine leaving our daughter-in-law and 5 grandchildren like that. So I called Discount Tire on Stagg Drive in Beaumont, TX, at 5:45 PM and spoke with Cody. Service takes way too long. Had people waiting multiple hours. Eight total workers with 4 working on each car only working on two cars at a time. When they finish a car they just stand around and joke around while people have places to go and need their cars fixed.
