My cousin took me here the other day when I was visiting Beaumont. There were three of us, so we split 2 pizzas: the Buffalo Chicken and the Sweet Heat. I liked both pizzas, but I did prefer the Buffalo Chicken. It was awesome. I got one of the IPA beers, and it was really strong. But good. The way servers work here is that everyone shares tables, so you're not in anyone's section. I'm gonna take off one star because the restaurant was so COLD!! It was already a little cold outside, and the fact that the A/C was on full blast was crazy. Bring a sweater. read more

5 stars for several reasons: 1st - Plenty of indoor and outdoor options, including a large bar. The main area speaks to the brewery's name as it was decorated with deer heads and other hunter/country-themed items. We opted for the more secluded area that filled me with nostalgia for my childhood days. There was local memorabilia from St. Anne's, 80s era report cards, etc. We loved going down memory lane while we waited. 2nd - Staff was very patient and helpful as we waited longer than anticipated for the rest of our large party. Servers rotate to ensure that guests are always tended to, but our primary waiter was the one who overall successfully managed our wild and loud party of 20. 3rd - A wide variety of beer options with several solid choices. The 'Stroberry was the most ordered beer of that evening, but a close runner-up was Easy Breesy Blonde. I, personally, enjoyed the Blast and Not the Momma - Yes, from the sitcom, The Dinosaurs! My only suggestion would be to add a Mexican Lager due to the area, or at least limes, to dress up the Easy Breesy. 4th - The food! The Sampler Trio allowed us to try several items. We chose the garlic cheese curds, crab pockets, and boudain egg rolls. All were delicious! Others in our party also ordered the curds and egg rolls and equally enjoyed them. Although this was a great way to start our meal, the main event was the pizza. Amongst us, we ordered the Meat Machine, Meaty Mashup, Nashville Hot, and accidentally Adios Amigo. My cousin thought it was Nachos, but it was too late to cancel. It ended up being almost everyone's favorite pizza. My partner insists this is a must when we return. However, it does not seem you could go wrong with any of the pizzas. Buckstin's will definitely remain on our list of go-to's whenever we visit BMT. read more

Went to the new Buckstin location after having a wonderful time at the Nederland location. Buckstin really outdid themselves and went all out at their new location. The interior was a country with a modern twist that fits the city of Beaumont perfectly. It was also about 3 times the size of the Nederland location and was much more spacious. They also had their equipment on display so you can see their breweries upon entry. We were greeted frequently and often on a busy Saturday night. The servers/bartenders were extremely nice and the staff was overall friendly. I ordered the sampler trio which includes your choice of 3 appetizers. I got the boudain eggrolls, mac bites, and cauliflower bites. For fried food, I expected this to be very heavy yet it was the complete opposite. It was fried perfectly and did have me feeling groggy the rest of the night. I also got the pineapple cider which is my go to cider at Buckstin. It's a very light alcoholic beverage that leaves a very satisfying aftertaste. It was so good, I got 3 glasses! Overall, I am very pleased and things are only up for Buckstin! read more

It's actually bizarre and caught me off guard and we found ourselves scanning the restaurant looking for our wait staff person...which seemed to change randomly. This was our first visit. As a non-drinker married to a beer lover, brewery/restaurant spots can often feel too much like hanging out in a bar which I do not love. Buckstin felt like a restaurant that happened to specialize in beer which was a nice change for me. We had the boudin egg rolls to start and they were fine. The sweet heat pizza was delicious and the perfect amount for the 2 of us to share. We opted for the cauliflower crust and couldn't tell the difference so also a plus. The staff waits on everyone as a team and that was sufficient. I didn't like that my water came in a paper cup, as did the pepper and parm condiments (in packets vs. bulk in shakers). Unnecessary landfill items since obviously they have fully functional dishwashers. I'm sure we will go back for pizza and beer! read more

Once again with so many hot and humid days upon us, it's nice to go to a restaurant and order a cool and tasty salad. So was the case recently at Buckstein Brewery for lunch. The large crispy and crunchy iceberg wedge was cut in half. It is then topped with a generous portion of juicy, ripe cherry tomatoes that were bursting with sweetness, while the thinly sliced pickled red onions offered a sharp, zesty contrast. The salad is then garnished with some savoy bacon and drizzled with bleu cheese dressing, and crumble, enhancing the flavor while keeping the salad crisp and refreshing. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed every bite. Buckstein's Brewery salads are Best Bites approved. read more

Tried to order "to go" at 8:30 to be considerate of the 9pm closing. Called and they said not taking to go orders. So run over, walk in, order quickly. Bring pizza in to go container. Turn music off at 9 pm. Picking up chairs. Moving tables. Cleaning floor. Nice! Please post closing hour at maybe 8 so employees can get out by the 9 they clearly wish to exit by. Not heading here again. I mean, I may be old but when I was working, posted hour of closing meant we took people UNTIL the hour posted and we stayed until that last group left WITHOUT cleaning around their table and Turing the music OFF and all the lights ON! We went to Beaumont location the first week it was open. Supreme pizza was excellent. Kolsch and Assassin's Cream were very good. Atmosphere was good--not too loud but they could cut back on the AC as it was a little chilly. Highly recommended! read more
