I'll be honest, I just wanted to get out of my vehicle at one point to stretch my legs. I also needed to use some facilities and decided that it should be soon as I was on a long stretch of highway. I just looked at the signs along the highway to see what was on the upcoming exit and through Love's would do. Pulled up and since this is a shared space I decided to park kind of in between the two spaces. Lot was a bit tricky to navigate, I especially got a little confused when I wanted to head out, I actually went the wrong way. Inside, spectacular. This place was as close to sparkly as you could get it. Not sure how they do it, but they surely had everything under control. I want to give credit to this Loves Travel Center. Recently, I left a personal item on the counter. I did not realize this incident until I was nearly 150 miles away. I called the store and spoke with a customer service representative who assured my personal items securement until I was able to return and retrieve my belongings. I love how "Loves Travel Centers", expresses customer service. read more

I would recommend this establishment. They have healthy food options in the cold cases in the main part of the Building. And there is a Wendy's, if you prefer that. There are several items that you can purchase for travel. However I was disappointed with the showers, there's no heating in the shower rooms and there's no place to sit down and put your stuff. Kind of a small footprint location for a Love's. They have most of the usual suspects as far as high priced crap food that's horrible for your health. The coffee / soda fountain area was small and out of staple condiments like 1/2 & 1/2 and raw sugar. There is a Wendy's attached to this location, but that's about the whole of it. read more

Food/Drink: Basic gas station food, with an attached Hardee's. Fountain drinks and coffee for your pleasure, and 10 coolers full of options. Prices: Not outrageous, and relevant to a interstate gas station stop. Gas Pumps: worked accordingly, and cheapest I've found in 500 miles. Bathrooms: Very clean, and smelled good. Plenty of stalls, and urinals. Paper towel and toilet paper were stocked! Atmosphere: Very quiet, tranquil, and chill. Just the way I like it! This is a large gas station. Has a large parking lot, 10 pumps that are widely spaced and easy to use. There's a Wendy's in side and entire convenience store as well. I see a bunch of charging stations too. Also a truckstop and you'll see a lot of trucks in the back. Right off route 17 as it splits to go towards New York City or Scranton. read more

Loves in Kirkwood ,NY Lately every time I get gas there, their prepay pump does not work! I have to constantly go inside to pay! This is so frustrating! Came here for a pit stop restroom/potty break. There was Wendy's attached to it and a small giftshop. Bathrooms were somewhat clean. I did check out the giftshop and it was pricy of course. Good enough for us to relieve ourselves and hit the road again. read more

I didn't Love it. They have a serious mosquito infestation here and the gas pumps look like they have been neglected, possibly for years. A gigantic brown spider kept me company while I pumped my gas, feasting on his choice of mosquitoes that coated the gas pump. There were even cobwebs inside when you walk through the main doors. The manager must be AWOL, or a David Lynch fan. Any travel writer working on a book about the decline of upstate NY would do well to stop here for some color. Everyone else should avoid. read more

Just stoped here for a quick fuel up and rest room break when we discovered my toddler had soaked through his diaper during our road trip (The car seat was damp enough to need a towel over it). I asked the cash attendant if I could buy a towel, since they provide them for the truckers when they shower but unfortunately they were not for sale. I thanked her anyway and went my way. It was to my surprise that she followed me outside and handed me a towel at no charge. I have never been so in awe by an act of kindness. Yeah I know it's just a towel but we still have a few more hours till our destination so that would make it a very uncomfortable drive for our son. Thank you for such a great service!
