DO NOT GO HERE! Always enjoyed Valvoline's service. So when I went to this location I expected the same service. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience that ended with my oil pan being punctured and needing to tow to a Firestone. $100 oil change was not charged, but now I had a quote for $1600 to repair the thing- tariffs and part shortages made finding a cheaper option in my area impossible. The manager of this location offered me a 25% discount for the next oil change, even mentioning that he didn't even need to do that and he was just being nice. He also claimed a rock would've broken the rust because it was so bad. The area manager and him "reviewed the footage" and came to the same conclusion. The Firestone mechanic, however, found that the hole was about the size of a finger. And was NOT caused by rust. Frankly, I'll take the word of a mechanic that looked at the part in question rather than managers "viewing footage." Currently waiting on a reimbursement for the damages, but as of now they denied my claim. So I'm just going to review them on every platform so people know. read more

Less then 24 hours of just getting an oil change my engine BLEW!!!! They made me towel my own car! Left me on the side of the highway in the cold snowing for hours!!!! With kids!!!! They declined they did anything wrong till the mechanic I told my own vehicle too called the manager at Valvoline and had him come over to the mechanic shop to show him what they did wrong that caused my engine to blow. I had to get a rental car for over a week and the only thing Valvoline paid for was for another engine by the way that I'm having problems with and they send me a check of $63 just for two Ubers that I had used at the time and did not pay me back for my other Ubers my oil change and for the towing that I had to get done. I usually go to vestal and they are very professional. I couldn't go this time because I had to pick up my husband from work and this was on the way. I read this carefully on their site before taking a huge leap to go here as I am high risk and rarely go out now; even my husband and I keep our distance in the house due to his working while my daughter is a severe asthmatic on oxygen. We needed our oil changed though so I had no choice. They were very friendly but I was wearing a mask, gloves and even had gotten prepared to pay with their promised 'contact-less pay' through google. The young man did wear a mask and gloves but refused to keep his distance. I tried to move as far as possible from him almost to the passenger side but he just kept coming to my open window very close. I asked him several times to please back up, the time I had to go through this was unbelievable as they just had to get their normal 5 minute sales pitch through even though I was being very clear I needed to get this done and leave. The young man continued to come close to my window and when I rolled it almost all the way up, he still didn't seem to understand. He scans your car for the registration number which terrified me as I was certain they would keep their distance instead of opening your car door to go into your car. This was literally the most stressful and fearful experience I've had yet. At least one other man was there on the side not wearing his mask and I don't trust anyone that's not high risk to be careful outside of work in this. I can't say they were disrespectful and I'm certain the fumbling we had to go through for payment until I finally just quickly gave him the card to just get him away from me was just a matter of not being trained however I am now awaiting the next few days to be sure I did not contract anything from a young person with a possibility of being asymptomatic. My husband gets tested tomorrow and that will help us some however I will now be terrified for the next few days in waiting to be sure this one time I should have not trusted this business will leave my family in jeopardy. Didn't put my dipstick in, never put the skid plates on Didn't reconnect the air intake. Oil is leaking. The technician was clearly upset and did not care About the car gave up half way through. Infinitis are annoying I understand but just do your job lmao. Update muffler is damaged and needs replaced. Valvoline forgot to lower the lift completely Had an actual mechanic look at the vehicle said the lift shouldn't have had any interference with my car. You guys are a real certified shop thank you absolutely horrible. Refusing to give the receipt to me. Asked for it emailed Never sent it. Hes always looking out for your best interest and trying to take care of you. These guys are great! I went to valvoline to quickly get a oil change. That is all I wanted done so I could be on my way for my little get away weekend I had plan. I usually have my partner do my oil change but we were running late so we just ended up going here just to hopefully get in and get out. But that wasn't the case at all. The gentleman was very nice who was helping us but he kept trying to sell us stuff that I didn't need done to my car. They pulled out my air filter trying to sell us an air filter which I told them no. So they put it back they then finished with our oil change and we went on our Mary way. I then went to the gas station right after my oil changed. When I turned my car back on my engine light came on which had never happened before to then find out they snapped a part of my air filter when they were putting it back. So long story short I will not be going back there for a couple reason 1.) the pricing for an oil change was ridiculous I could get it cheaper in my home town but they jacked there prices so high 2.) the never ending sell pinches when all I wanted and told them I was there for was an oil change and that's all I wanted 3.) them snap my air filter and not telling me. read more

I gave them a two because they did rotate the tires and put the oil in the car, but that was all they did correctly. I understood the wait time because of COVID, however they did not show me they put the oil in the car like many other times(when finished the guy shows the dipstick). They also got a huge greasy hand print on the outside of my white vehicle, therefore showing me no precautions were taken to prevent spread of germs or dirt. I was further annoyed when I asked for a receipt and the guy said no receipts because of COVID, this was questionable? especially because I track my upkeep and repairs for the warranty, so, after pushing on my part he insisted oh I can e-mail it to you. Its nice to know this expense has now fallen on me even though i paid 133.89 (oil change & tire rotation). Just to note the e-mail sent was not a bill it was a thank you for services provided, no amount no charged stated. The whole situation was just not professional or courteous. The staff was certainly not friendly either. The guy told me it cost me .50 for me to print and it saves the company 1,000.00 very sarcastically . read more
