A good enough stop off I-40 between Amarillo and Oklahoma City, I needed a bathroom and refreshments. This got the job done. It is one of the larger Love's compared to others along the way. It is located very close to the highway and would be easy for larger vehicles to negotiate. This Love's includes a Sonic with Drive through and a Chester's Chicken. Inside was clean-ish though the rest rooms needed some attention this afternoon. There is some shade and I was able to get a quick snooze though the sound of trucks using their engines to slow down limited me from a proper sleep. It's clean. Easy to get into the gas part. All of the Cokes and everything are very super organized as well as the condiments. Plus the nicest young woman on the planet just made me fresh gizzards. This Love's is in a fantastic location right next to the Sugar Creek Casino and Event Center and across the street from the Oklahoma Casino. On the outside of the building you can see that they have plenty of fuel pumps for the amount of travelers coming in and signs on the outside showing they have Chester's Chicken, Godfather's Pizza and a Sonic, which you can enter into to eat inside or you can also go through the drive thru. We came looking for a phone booster for the truck. My son, saw all the hot food and went to get a cheeseburger on a brioche bun from a hot box. This store has tons of merchandise, just about anything you can think of. We saw toys, clothes, knives, jumbo torches, phone accessories, electronics, decorative signs, anything you need for trucks, trailers or cars, crystal decor on and on and on. Plus they have showers AND bathtubs for truckers. Everything BUT what we were searching for. So we paid for the burger and left. After pulling out, we drove around the back of the store. We passed the Sonic drive thru, and saw the huge parking lot for trucks, the massive mechanic shops for trucks and the scales. Nice to know when we are passing through on the big rig. By the way, my son liked the cheeseburger, except the bottom bun was a little hard. read more

Rip off. Needed assistance putting a belt on our bus. Was quoted $120/ hr. We provided our own belt. Husband did most the work and the guy assisted some.A half hour after work, says we owe $205. That we're being charged for the time since he left his job site until the time he gets back to his job site. And for miles. I called and spoke with the manager, and I said ,"so he can dilly dally on his way here and I have to pay for that" and he said " yes". Complete rip off. Don't quote a price and then tack on extra expenses, and while doing so, be completely rude. This place is shady and dishonest. I will never seek service at this location and neither should anyone else who doesn't want to be ripped off. I only put one star because there couldn't be negative stars or none. read more

This travel station was a rough in and out. We arrived and the pumps were all full of empty vehicles. So we patiently waited for someone to complete the fueling task. We waited for an extended period of time when we finally had someone return to their vehicle and free up the pump. We quickly fueled up and went inside. Moving our car so as to be courteous to our fellow travelers. Upon entering we were not greeted, and their was an extensive line. We used the restroom that was what you imagine as a bathroom nightmare. We decided to buy some juices we were then trapped in the line of endless people. Traveled from Southeast Oklahoma to Las Vegas.. Coming back through Oklahoma we decided to pull into this location to eat supper, because we are in a motorhome. I can honestly say we have went into over a hundred businesses on our almost two week trip... The RUDEST and actually ONLY RUDE employee we encountered was at this Sonic... Tables were ALL dirty. My mother asked for a rag & the rude little girl said "you will have to wait".... After not getting a rag to clean the tables, my mother just went to the restroom and got us our own towels... Good place to stop for a break from the snow. Warm inside and the bathrooms were clean.

The Loves in Hinton, Oklahoma does not have a trailer friendly gas pump area for people traveling with RVs and trailers or vehicle with trailers, so be careful for that. However they do have tons of big rig parking for overnight break. They also have a great shift manager named Rodney who will go above and beyond to assist you if you are in need of help. We broke down there and he was so kind to recommend a mobile mechanic that could assist us, as their onsite garage can only assist Big Rigs and not passenger vehicles. Its also convenient located next to a clean hotel and has several food choices located onsite chicken, pizza and Sonic. The gas station is located close to the freeway and has large grass area that is pet friendly as well. I give the location 4 stars and the staff 5 stars for being helpful and kind. Time wasting, employees. Whatever you do, do NOT stop here. Do not pass go, do not buy a gift card, because they will try to steal your "200 dollars"! One star is an insult they deserve negative ten stars. I tried to buy a gift card and they had no idea how to ring it up. They tried to blame it on me and say my card didn't go through. I am very certain, without a shadow of a doubt that that amount was there and then some. So they had to call some number and get some reinforcements to correct their ONGOING gift card purchase issues. How do I know It's ONGOING? I had to stand there and listen to the exchange while they try to correct their mistake that they APPARENTLY make ALL OF THE TIME. Why doesn't corporate fire these people or at the least stop selling gift cards since it's too complex of a transaction to complete. If I were a district manager or even a shift manager I would place all gift cards in the back of the store until the issue with the computer system was addressed and or employees were properly trained. read more
