I made a coffee at dodges and I always get half and half. Someone had put French vanilla in the half and half so my coffee was sweet! I told the clerk it was wrong and I couldn't make a new one because of time... I was on a time crunch to pick up my van from the mechanics. He still charged me. I spoke to a manager (who didn't walk over to me) and he said I could remake it and still pay. I said well I don't have time AND you don't have half and half it's French vanilla. He still charged me "for the cup". Even though he told me to go get a new one, which means I would have thrown the cup away, anyway. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SEVICE BY STEVEN (clerk) AND CHRISTIAN (I think that's the mangers name). Whoever was working at 6:00pm on September 15th. The clerk wouldn't tell me the mangers name and I couldn't see his shirt because he spoke from across the food at the other register and never came over. EDIT: after I picked my van up, I decided to go back and get a new coffee because the sweetness was too much. The manager said "go ahead". So I asked him if he'd changed the French vanilla to the half and half. He said no. Mind you, 20+ mins had passed since I told him it was the wrong cream. Anyway, he walked over with me to check and change the creamer as I was getting new coffee (new cup). As he was changing the creamer, an even worse problem arose. There was MOLD all over the top and inside of the creamer machine. I snapped a photo. I left with black coffee no creamed. read more

I purchased a mega lotto ticket at this location and got my change and left ticket on counter on July 7 and when back on the 8th the cashier said she remember me and yes she put ticket on the register in case I returned and another cashier sold my ticket to someone else. I love the fact that the cashier was honest about the ticket being left. But not the fact they resold my ticket to someone. UPDATE from main office July 11: Apologized for the way it was handled. We like Dodge's! It's a super clean gas station that sells a large variety of cooked fast food. Let's be honest - it's a bunch of fried fast food. We've been a couple of times for snacks. Their chicken and cheese flautas are really good, their burrito was alright, and my niece was not a fan of the turkey leg. Yes, they have turkey legs. My husband and I also stopped by a couple of weeks ago to pick up fried chicken for dinner. We live in Destin close to he bridge to Mary Esther and there are no chicken places near us...which doesn't make sense because I'm positive that chicken would be a hit with tourists. Their chicken was actually really good! Definitely something we would do again. In addition to the cooked food they have a large variety of sodas and slushes, chips, candy, and other sweets, and a decent coffee bar. The store in clean, the employees are very friendly, and the prices are comparable to other gas stations and fast food establishments. read more

Stopped here for gas several times while I lived here in the panhandle but never went in. My BIG mistake! Don't be like me! Big selection of drinks from coffee, soda to different flavors of slushes. Just got slushes for the kids & I this time but when I visit the FWB area again, I will stop for the chicken. Staff was polite & they have a punch card for slushees (ask for it & see if it's just for slushes or any fountain drink). My friend said they have the best chicken and potato wedges. We went down to the store during the morning of the hurricane to get some food. The two ladies there were nothing less than exemplary...Best to describe them as a well oiled machine...Simultaneously cooking, answering the phone, working the register, smiling and thanking every customer. One of them even talked to management on the phone and appeared to be questioning why they were going to close since there were so many people coming in. They both deserve bonuses for coming in and performing so well under adverse conditions. I'll definitely be going in again and again. read more

Let me start this off by saying I don't review many places however I felt this is necessary. Clean place and convenient gas prices however 2 things that I noticed when ordering food last night. 1. Prices are too high for food that has obviously been sitting there for a while. 2. As I have already paid for my food and about to leave the attendant starts cleaning the inside of the food display case with... And I can't make this up... A shop vacuum!!! Utter disbelief and if it wasn't for the fact that I don't like making a scene I would have asked for my $18 back. Needless to say the food went in the trash. First time here. Newly remodeled and looks great. The employees were very friendly so I was looking forward to having their hot food. It went downhill from there. I ordered the 11pc family meal with 2 sides. I came home with an 8pc "meal" with 3 pieces of half-cooked wedges and an individual size mac n cheese. Please tell me how 3 wedges and individual size mac n cheese would feed a family. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Two of the thigh pieces were still pink in the middle. Probably cooked with those 3 wedges. If I could put zero stars I would. Every time I go in there the employee's are sitting and eating or just don't say anything to you. One girl walked over to the counter, pointed to where she wanted me to go with a mouth full of food. They are lazy and rude. The store is very nice and the employees make it terrible.
