Visited February 28th..see my receipt. This is located right off of highway 5. Although the gas is a bit pricey the location offers a hot deli selection ( breakfast ssndwiches...hot dogs..and more). It also has Godfathers Pizza and Arbys inside. There is a small dog park as well. Plenty of snacks and sodas for your trip! Bathroom was clean. They also have showers for the truckers or whoever needs one after a long drive! Good safe stop and well lit. read more

I "love's" this place. Yes, pun intended. Easy access on and off of I-5, the place is spotless, and the employees are always friendly. The store has anything and everything you would need in your average travel stop, food, drinks, travel items you might need, etc. The bathrooms are clean, and they also offer showers for everyone not just professional drivers. A shower is only 20 bucks. They offer a good selection of hot foods in the store, and there is also an Arby's, as well as a "godfather's pizza express." As for the gas prices, the day I was there gas was at a minimum $.50 cheaper per gallon than anywhere else in town, on top of that, if you have the loves app, you save an additional 10 cents per gallon on gasoline, and up to 25 cents a gallon on auto diesel. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Ok, I know this is crazy way to open for a gas station but I stop here every other week and have done so since they opened and its a great half way point for all of us. Super clean, lots of fill stations, lots of food to choose from even when im eating healthy I can find good stuff here. They have a couple dog areas on in front and the back. So many little conveniences and the people that work here are always so nice to us too. Nice place to fill up, grab a bite, take a break and then stretch your legs! read more

After nearly 100 Love's in my travels, I'm still finding them to be almost consistently a good highway stop. Only one or two were poor but this isn't one of the poor ones. At 5:30 am on a Saturday morning, the store was clean and tidy. Pump area had no trash and so I was able to easily add $100 of fuel to the Sprinter van (10c discount for scanning my Love's app barcode). Really well lit at night which was appreciated. Inside, the rest room was in good shape and I had no problem hitting the green smile when I left. Stocked, clean and fresh enough. Coffee station was also stocked. Loves is too busy for RVs. We can't fit our RV in the busy auto lanes and the truck lanes require you to go inside. It took us 3 trips inside to get the pump to operate. read more

Don't pull up the auto pumps hoping to receive a receipt after filing your tank. They won't have it. Came through on New Year's Day, hauling a horse long distance, so the last thing I want is to waste time going out of my way to acquire a receipt. Totally thankless management. Keep the paper receipts loaded at the pumps! Also, the regular unleaded fuel here at Love's Williams was $0.14 more expensive than further north at Love's in Corning. However, that station didn't have any receipt paper, either. read more

If you are trucker or own, an RV stay away from this place. The repair shop uses an upsell system that compensates employees for up sales for repairs that did not need to take place. If you take your truck here, they will find something that's wrong even though there's nothing wrong with it and charge you to repair it even though they didn't repair anything. I own and operate a firefighting company that contracts through the state of California and the federal government. Each year we are required to have our equipment inspected. Last year I took my fleet to the Love's in Williams California for their annual inspection. There was some minor repairs noted and I quickly approved and paid for those repairs so I can get the inspections done and move on. When I had the inspections done last year, I took the vehicles in myself. This year I sent one of my employees to take the vehicles to Love's for inspections. The first day, my employee took a tractor trailer which consisted of a day cab and a lowboy. My employee called me and advised me that the technician told him that there was a bad valve that needed to be replaced and it was leaking on the tractor. Repair two to $300 so I quickly approved it. The next day I sent my employee there in one of our fire engines. My employee again calls me and tells me that they're gonna fail it because there's a leaky inner Hub seal. I told my employee that there's no way that there's a leaky seal. It's a brand new truck and I double checked before I sent the truck to Love's. I instructed my employee to back to my shop, which is over an hour away. Upon his arrival, I inspected the truck immediately called Love and asked to speak with the technician Jesus. Jesus got on the phone and proceeded to tell me that the hub was in fact leaking. I told Jesus that I am a certified mechanic and that I inspected trucking at the hub as dry as possible. He advised me that I had to take the wheel off in order to see the leak. Which is quite interesting because he never took the wheel off to see the leak. Inner or outer hub seal lease should be visible without taking the wheel off. I immediately took the wheel off exposing a pulley dry hub assembly. I called back. The text said what do we need to do to make this right. Long story short I wanted my money refunded and he refused . If you're reading this you are not mistaken. He acknowledged that the hub was not leaking, but refused to refund the money. I've called numerous times asking for a manager at both the store and the shop. No one will call me back. I even went on Reddit and found the district manager's email and emailed her and she will not email or call me back. I called one last time two weeks ago to the store and asked to speak to a manager and a lady told me that a gentleman would be calling me back the next day. Never got a call. It is very clear that this is an ongoing scheme that they use at this location, identify things that are not broken offer to fix them and either pocket the money or get a portion of the upsel. Today I will be filing a lawsuit against Loves. Additionally, I am a huge Berkshire Hathaway investor and will be taking this issue way up the ladder as this affects me directly. The workers are always nice. The bathrooms are always clean. The laundry room area is clean and there is always a dryer and washer available. The shower is always clean and nice. They do have good food options along side of the 2 restaurant. This is our spot when we come through here. read more

It's always clean and inviting, unlike some of those gas stations/truck stops along the I-5 freeway that are really creepy and feels unsafe. This is NOT that place. Stopped here on road trip from Seattle to Bakersfield. Love's stops are generally our 1st choice. We were there around 6pm on a Saturday, and they seemed to have run out of attention to the customers. Restrooms were just ok but not spic and span as many Love's are. Their stock of warm foods like wraps and hot dogs was miserable. Hot chocolate machine was putting out hot water, w/o chocolate. One of the two coffee brewers was not working. Pretty nice loves and very convenient, well kept clean and maintained with very nice and helpful employees, they have a Chesters chicken restaurant inside but I have never tried it so I can't give no input about it unfortunately but overall it was a pleasant experience. read more

We were on our way home from camping when we stopped at Love's for gas and snacks. I had never heard of Love's but my brother who's lived in L.A. and Texas said they are all over down there. Not only does this Love's location offer gas and snacks but they have showers and a plethora of other products. They have a little section of clothing, hats, toys, food, a gazillion drinks, a wall of toiletries, and a million other things. Their bathrooms were super clean and modern looking. Attached to this Love's was a Chester's chicken spot, Godfather's Pizza, and an IHOP Express. I was in heaven!!! If you are travelling down the 5 by Williams be sure to make a pit stop at Love's...they have everything you need lus some! read more

Started stopping here on our long haul drives recently and have been pleased with the convenience. The gas prices have been reasonable, which is saying a lot in todays environment.... But Love's is also a good single stop when you're on the highway. Situated at the intersection of I-5 and Hwy 20 outside of Williams, it's easy to access, has a good selection of snacks for any road trip, along with some unexpected shopping selections like phone chargers, headphones and other electronics. Bathrooms are always clean, and if you're not up for gas station grub, there's a Chester's Chicken and an Arby's in the same building. Plenty of parking for average vehicles, vehicles towing trailers, and big rigs. If you're on a long road trip and passing through, get out to stretch your legs here. On a nice evening or morning there's a good view of the Buttes from the parking lot as well. read more

I picked up a pack of beef jerky priced at 5.49 and the clerk rung it up for 9.99. The clerk went and double checked it and confirmed it at 5.49 along with the whole end cap priced at 5.49. She then called the manager for a price correction. The manager said the 9.99 price was correct even though it was advertised with the 5.49 jerkies. According to California business and professions code 12024.2, it states that the correct price of any item is the lowest posted, quoted, or advertised price for which the buyer qualifies (club, coupon, minimum amount purchases, etc...). The store is responsible for removing expired shelf tags and sales signs. The manager, Caden or Tommy - needs to be retrained at his job to ensure that he follows the California laws because he doesn't know what he is getting himself into. Pulled in to get fuel, snack & use the restroom while in the road. Usually Loves is a great place to stop, I pull in & 8am on a Monday they have all the gas pumps blocked off (so no fuel). I figure, oh well I can make into Colusa. When I go into the restroom, it smells horrific & is mediocre clean @ best. There is an employee cleaning, cool. BUT, as one guy walks out & pushes the red-sad face bathroom un-satisfied he gets mean mugged by the attendant. Then the entire time I'm in the bathroom the employee continues to push the two green-smiley face buttons. That's equivalent to me as a contractor doing crap work & faking reviews on Social Media. Just a terrible experience & as a traveler who has stopped @ about every Loves, Rotten Robbie, Pilot etc. it was a meh-experience at best! read more

This is a great place to stop in and get your fuel it has nice clean restrooms, wet fast and friendly service, big parking lots and a large selection of snacks to choose from too. I stopped for gas and something to eat at 9:00 PM only to be told by the counter person at the pizza and chicken places that they were closed. Seriously? At a place that advertises itself as 24/7? We stopped here during a road trip to have a late lunch. Although there was an issue with what we had initially ordered at Chester's, MeMe stepped up and offered to make it right. She invited us to choose from the ihop menu. We had fish & chips and it was delicious. Boy, did she ever take good care of us! My sister and I were tired and hungry and she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Don't STOP at this STOP!!! Stopped at Chester's Chicken at this Truck Stop (Williams, CA) when they first opened a couple of years ago. It was really bad, and we vowed to give them a 2nd chance. Came back about a year later and NO CHANGE, still bad. Then we stopped in yesterday and to our surprise; it was STILL bad! The food is mediocre, but they are still understaffed with uncaring people. It is obvious the staff doesn't know how to deal with the public, or properly represent the company they work for. It appears management is to blame, since every time we were there, it was a different "uncaring" staff of two or three. When we asked for utensils to eat our food, they told us to go into the main store and get them. No location or other assistance; just a "get out of here" attitude. After our scavenger hunt, we found the plastic forks. We could now go back to Chester's and eat our mediocre "cooled down" meal. read more

Hey I know that no one will read this because it's yelp on a truck stop. But, me and my friend have both stopped at your place separately 2 weeks apart and he got food poising or a stomach virus and then I stopped and had 2 egg tacos that were definitely not expired on the time, we both were in the toilet for 24-48 hours with the worst runs I've ever had. I just want you guys to take a deep look inside yourselves and figure it out with the food preparation. Sincerely my rectum/ your only getting 3 stars cuz the bathrooms are nice. Over an hour to fix one tire. After waiting over an hour for them ( one guy working) to put one wheel on a truck.. 3 guys there one working. Need better management. Only here because only choice. I live in Orland 40 min away could have gone home and got it fixed faster. Other 2 guys spend time doing nothing washing the door when customers are waiting. So over 2 hrs of my work day wasted. This is the worse loves I've ever been too all because of this woman's bad attitude over fuel that she does not own.
