When I asked about the refund amount she kept changing how much she would send. Finally I got fed up with corresponding with her so I filed a dispute through my credit card. She realized a dispute would be damaging to her reputation so suddenly she came back apologizing asking me to remove the dispute and she would send me a refund. So I remove the disputes and she refunds me. Two days later she goes AWOL and says I filed another dispute and drags me through social media because she texted me at 8am and I didn't respond til 10am (I was sleeping). I literally called my bank and recorded the phone call where the bank confirms all disputes have been cancelled and the dispute she received this morning was an old one but they cancelled it too. In response she asked PayPal to take back my refund and she went psycho on me saying I'm trying to scam her. How am I trying to scam you when I literally have proof I was dissolving all of the disputes in exchange for a refund?? Now she has blocked me on everything and is no longer responding to my messages. Oh and take a look at the horrendous quality of these photos she sent me. She claims this is high quality??

Once I saw Apostolos' work, I knew I had found a professional who knew his craft, and who could create some gorgeous shots. Apostolos is very accommodating and easy to work with, and he made the process easy. We live in LA and got married in Santa Barbara, and Apostolos drove out for the occasion. Since our wedding was small and more casual, we had not thought about too many photo concepts, but he was on his game and came up with a variety of shots at our hotel to the Santa Barbara courthouse to our wedding venue. When it came time to plan my own wedding, they were at the top of my list. Of course I shopped around but I kept coming back to Paperwhites because of the value, quality of work, and the fact that they shoot digital and film. On the day of the wedding, Trina and Darcy were great to work with. They weren't pushy and didn't make silly faces to make people laugh- they were just genuinely fun and caring about the work, which put people at ease. My husband and I have HUGE families and we had a million family portraits to take. Our coordinator, Trina, and Darcy said that it was the craziest portrait session ever, but they all handled it in stride. Our friends and parents commented on how fun and easy to work with they were. The photos came back quickly (less than 4 weeks! Usually it's 6 months!) and they are really beautiful. I also like that we got all of the negatives and CDs of the digital photos. Some photographers only let you have a limited amount. How in the hell do i remember it was such an awesome day you might ask?? Wellll, because i have da BOMB photos as my daily reminder forever and ever and ever. I'm a research whore and when planning my wedding, this "gift" just kicked into high gear. After looking into many different wedding photographers, i choose Paperwhites for 3 simple reasons: 1. I loved the fact that they were true artists. They shoot mostly with REAL film (who does that anymore?) not digital, so you know that they have mad skills. I found that to be such a dying art and i truly appreciated their talents. 2. I loved them as people. I consider Darcy one of my friends now, she is hilarious. Her and trina are amazing and they work together like a left arm and right arm....seamlessly. As other reviewers have said, their fun personalities help make the day go more smoothly. They really help you relax and in turn, your pictures come out hella GORGEOUS. 3. Let's face it, who the hell cares about supporting the artistry and liking the photographers if they take crap pictures, right? But, their photos were BEAUTIFUL and at the end of the day, that's the most important thing, eh? I think my thoughts about Darcy and Trina have been sufficiently expressed. Infact, Mo has become an even betterphotographer over the years and really captured the vibe we wanted for our second maternity shoot.
