During our first phone conversation she took the time to get to know my husband and I and what vision we were going for with our wedding. She came up with amazing location ideas and was open to working with whatever we wanted. During the engagement shoot she knew the location so well that she was able to get the perfect lighting, angles, spots, and poses to really utilize the space well. She created some of the most amazing shots and the editing and finish she was able to put onto the photos was just enough to make them absolutely perfect without creating something that wasn't there. During the wedding, she came a day early to make sure she could scout the location and come up with a plan for where and how she wanted to do the photos. She came with her husband as her second photographer which we loved. Her husband took the pre-photos of my husband and the guys and we had Audree for our getting ready photos with the ladies. They both not only captured good quality photos, but they captured such amazing moments. You could see my husband and his friends' personality shine through each photo of them. As for Audree's photos of us she captured the nerves, the love, the joy, and the beauty that was my getting ready process. They also managed to find time to get some great photos of the reception hall which I was more than thankful for since I didnt get to see the finished product before our reception. For my wedding day there was one moment that I just had to have captured and it was the first time I saw my husband and he saw me when I rounded the corner during our ceremony. I wanted the shots to be taken at the exact same time so that our first look, reaction, and everything was caught simultaneously. Not only were they able to capture that moment so perfectly for me, but it was so flawlessly executed. In fact during the entire ceremony one thing I dont remember is the constant clicking of a camera or watching someone dodge around and get in the way of the ceremony, yet the amount of quality photos we received of the ceremony is unbelievable. Ive been to many weddings where the photographer is running around distracting from the moment and that was the furthest thing from how Audree runs the show. I could go on and on about how amazing Audree is as a person as well as a photographer because I was genuinely amazed at what we received from her. She is worth every penny and some. Kelly arrived promptly on the day of and immediately got to work. She was never obtrusive while getting shots done. She works in a business-like and professional manner with a lot of sensitivity to the wedded couple. Family photos were a bit of a hassle because our family members kept wandering off or not listening to directions- Kelly handled them with patience and tolerance and we got the shots we wanted! I really loved working with Kelly when it was just the couple photos. She was really great at directing us and getting the photos we will treasure forever. I was very nervous about having to be photographed all day but she put me completely at ease and would show us shots on the digital camera just to keep us involved with how the photos were looking. At the reception she did a magnificent job of capturing the special moments on the dance floor without ever interrupting things- she would see a moment happening a capture it right there! This is different from my experience at other weddings where the photographers are in the way or trying to get guests to recreate a candid moment.
