I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and me well in advance, providing all necessary information, including our dental coverage. However, upon arrival, Jessenia at the front desk informed us that we would be checked in as self-pay because "the website indicates that our coverage is inactive." This office had access to our insurance details beforehand but failed to verify them. To clarify, I called my insurance provider, as I had already done prior to scheduling, and once again confirmed that we both had active coverage. I even put the agent on speaker so they could speak directly with Jessenia. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she responded with an attitude, rolling her neck and eyes. Because they failed to verify our insurance ahead of time, our appointment was delayed by 25 minutes, causing unnecessary inconvenience for me and my daughter, who had to return to work and school. While dealing with this issue, a dental assistant came from the back, looked at me and said, "I'm ready for you all." I questioned my daughter's and my name, and she replied, "Yes, the three kids." I looked at her confused and a bit irritated because again, this office lacked to verify information. I did not have 3 children with me. It was just me and my daughter. I even mentioned our names. I then pointed to the actual family she was supposed to be calling. Once we were finally seen, I was informed that neither my daughter nor I could receive our scheduled cleanings because there was no hygienist available today. Despite booking an exam and cleaning, whoever scheduled our appointment scheduled us on a day when cleanings weren't even possible. Instead, we were only booked for an exam, meaning we would have to return for a second visit. After my exam, I was offered the option to get a filling done the same day. Jessenia told me the cost would be $27. When I asked if my insurance covered it, she assured me that all expenses were fully covered. However, after the procedure, she suddenly informed me that I had to pay $27 because my insurance "only covers 80%." I told her that was incorrect but, against my better judgment, paid the amount and planned to follow up with my insurance for reimbursement. Then, she informed me that I also had to pay an additional $10 for my daughter because "every patient is required to pay $10 per visit due to inflation." That policy is completely outrageous. After leaving, I called my insurance provider and confirmed what I already knew--my coverage should have fully paid for the procedure. I returned to the office because I forgot to request work and school excuse documents. While there, I addressed my concerns with another receptionist. Instead of allowing the conversation to continue professionally, Jessenia butted in with an attitude, interrupting repeatedly and making unnecessary comments. The situation escalated, and we ended up yelling at each other in the lobby in front of other patients. I was originally scheduled to return on Friday for our cleanings, but I canceled the appointments and will not be coming back. Jessenia lacks accountability, is incompetent, unprofessional, and disrespectful. This office is disorganized, does not respect patients' time, and has rude staff. I'm very new to the area from Dallas, TX but went to get X-rays of tooth due to sudden pain and was referred to their oral surgeon after they took X-ray. The dentist just looked at X-ray. He didn't even look in my mouth. I was told that Dr. Frank couldn't pull tooth as it was too complicated. Due to fact I've had heart surgery I needed surgeon's consent for sedation. I did get antibiotics for infection. Since I don't know the area at all their office manager, Jess, got frustrated with me because the offices where their surgeon works out of are in places I have no clue of how to find. Plus the sedation and bone graft (for last molar on bottom right) was going to be $1100.00! She told me all this at the front desk in the open with many patients in waiting area. Very unprofessional! I'm 74 and have no plans to get an implant. Jess said she'd call me when they got surgeons consent for sedation. While waiting for consent I got copies of my X-rays and sent them to my dentist in Dallas. He said it was simple extraction so when I got surgeon's consent that was sent to me (and Lovett) I drove 250 miles to Dallas and had it pulled by him for $120. No sedation or bone graft needed. Jess was so arrogant and dismissive. I'm now back from Dallas with tooth extracted, no pain. Oh, my heart surgeons office called me to let me know they faxed consent to Lovett Dental the day before I left for Dallas. Jess has yet to call me to let me know she got consent and it's been 10 days since that occurred! Don't go here. They are overbooked, overworked and very unpleasant. read more

Lovett provided the worse dental service I have ever received. It took then over a year to provide dentures and never did finally. They provided me with temporary dentures when telling me they were permanent. Did not inform me they were temporary until a 6 months in when I was told I would have to purchase a permanent set. Set an appointment 3 weeks in advance for my children and I had to ask for the day off at work well the day before the appointment was set they tell me they will not be open at this specific office and I would have to either go to offices either in the woodlands or the galleria area. I work mon-fri, so I was looking for a place open on saturdays. I came across this dentist and saw they opened Saturdays and decided to book an appointment. I live about 40 minutes away from the place and when i got there and told them i had an appointment at 3 they told me they'll go check if the dentist is ready. when they came back they told me he actually had to leave for an emergency. Last week I took my daughter out of school early for her appointment only to be told we had the wrong date even though the appointment card we were given had that date on it. They always overbook. Back for her appointment this week and we have been in the waiting room for almost two hours past her appointment time. It's hot in here, it's crowded, and nobody is saying anything to the mom of the child running around hitting things. If we hadn't already paid in full for her braces we would never come back. I would stay as far away as possible. Keep in mind there is only ONE dentist working here. Wait times are phenomenal and customer service from the front desk is horrible. The dentist Dr.Flores herself is really good at what she does and nice which is the reason I have the two stars. She should move to a better clinic because she is much better than this place. The front desk has no regard whatsoever for the customer. Receptionists are rude and acts like they are doing you a favor by letting you see the dentist. Be prepared to wait for ages before they take you back to do the tests even if you have an appointment. I had an appointment at 9am, show up at 9am then I'm told the dentist is not coming in and that they will need to reschedule (at least have the courtesy to let the people know before they show up). Reschedule for the next week and show up on time at 9 am again. Still have to wait for more than an hour even though all my paperwork was filled and they had no excuses. 1 hour in the lobby and 45 minutes in the back waiting for the dentist. All this for a general check up that in previous experiences I have always been in and out in an hour. I personally will never be coming back here. read more

Unorganized and unprofessional. My first appointment involved me waiting two hours to be examined for a few minutes to be told to come back the next day. I was seen promptly the next morning...I also paid ~$700 for that appointment. I had a followup appointment scheduled for a month. I was called 36 hours or so before that appointment because they needed to reschedule to accommodate the doctor's flight. This trip was planned in advanced, so I'm not sure why they allowed me to schedule an appointment when he wouldn't be available. I called to schedule my daughter an appointment more than a week in advance. I was taking advantage of my work schedule and planned other appointments around this dental visit. This office called me after 2p on NYE to tell me that the doctor wouldn't be in. Now, I'm scrambling to find a pediatric dentist in the area to take my toddler to this week while I'm out on Christmas break. Unless you have an open schedule, avoid this office. read more

Don't take your kids here. It was just a bad experience. To start, the dental assistant we had was just rude. She shouldn't be working with kids! My 4 year old was scared but not whining or crying and when he went to get x-rays she got frustrated with him instead of understanding his fear. She grabbed his jaw and forced his mouth open. Then she was telling the dentist he needed to hurry up cause she was ready to go. Telling him to cut down on the talking. That left a bad taste in my mouth. Then, they said they would send me a statement for how much all the dental work would be, for my son to get done at his next visit. The cost for dental work was $1,060. I let them know that did not sound right and to check again. I never heard back. Then about a month or so later, my son comes up to me and the side of his face is swollen. He complained it was in his mouth. I called Lovett. The lady on the phone was extremely rude. I explained his complaints to her and she said there was nothing they could do for me and told I should have called them the day before when the dentist was actually in the office. So she blamed me, when his symptoms had just started that day. That was the last straw. I called All Star Kids Dental in Dayton and they said it was an emergency and got him in that day. Got everything he needed. The total cost of his dental work at All Star kids dental was $50. Not the $1060 Lovett was trying to get from me. It's a farther drive but much more worth it. read more

I go in , I'm asked if I have an appt I say no I just want to know how much is it for a check up for a 2yr old. This receptionist doesn't know . Tell me to wait for the lady. So I sit and wait ... I went in for a few sensitive fillings. I walked out in the most pain I've ever experienced. Dr. Flores is the only doc there each time I had been and is extremely rushed between patients. If she would simply take the time and do things correct I wouldn't have had to go in multiple times for "fixes". I now have to buy supplemental dental insurance and go to another dentist so they can fix all of the problems she made significantly worse. I regret the day I thought going to Lovett Dental was a good idea. NEVER again. I hope you never have to experience what I have at this facility.
