The items here are one-of-a-kind. I picked up a cassette tape-styled magazine/folder rack for hubs and earrings I couldn't pass up for me. They have candles in a variety of themes for owl lovers, mushroom lovers, yoga enthusiasts, etc. While some may find the prices a little steep (I overheard a guy trying to convince his girlfriend to just buy candles in the dollar store because it's so much cheaper), the prices are not terribly unreasonable. Expect to pay a slight premium due to the touristic location but also no shipping and a unique experience.

This seemed to be incredibly popular, and people waited for quite a while to purchase it, so it must be good! There were countless flavors available, and all of them sounded very good. I've never walked into the shop and not found exactly what I was looking for. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. If, on the off chance, they don't have something in stock you need, they'll order it and get it to you almost immediately. . Plus! But what prompted us to even come here was to look for a damn night-light (yeah......out of all things) and had a hunch Topka would carry them. So to their defense, there are no mass-produced knick-knacks and their primary inventory ranges from hand-made/hand-painted items, Chimes and a few other things. Prices are indeed up there and I kid you not...a lot of their stuff may not be my style, but the work and selections look interesting. 3+1/2 to wrap it up. We wanted to use our Card to pay, but the person asked if we could use cash, as we were her "first customers for the day". But there was a small sign on the counter that read something along the lines of, "cash is kindly suggested"- I didn't question it- just thought it was odd. I didn't come out as a believer, and I don't know if Topka is going to fuel my day for shopping......but I did leave with a Multi-color Night-Lite.
