This is a very adorable tourist shop. They have everything and more. From locally made soaps and…read morefudge to moccasins, semi-precious stones, books, toys, a little something for everyone. There is only one negative I have found after almost a year of visiting this shop: the staff seem to dislike the customers. There is never a smile or a hello. They seem like they'd prefer to be a million miles away than working there. The last time I went, I asked for the staff to get me something from the showcase, I apologized for making her stop what she was doing to get it and she gave me the death glare. Another person noticed and mentioned it to me. I wish I could give it 5 stars but I think management has to improve to have happy workers.

Woodstock is a diverse and eclectic town but it's also famous for its Mower's Flea Market every Saturday and Sunday in a big grassy area. Hubs and I have always made it a point every time we come to Woodstock in the last 20 years, to stop here first (out of nostalgia) before making the drive down home. Quite honestly, we've scored several hand-made pieces and a vintage Dashiki hubs had found for me. Mower's is made up of several vendors all selling something different. Over the years though, the amount of vendors have dropped. And forget about COVID last year- because it didn't take place and was weird looking at vendor-less lot when we came to the area for a day trip in the Fall of '20. But alas, Mower's is back in business and we were delighted to see more vendors (almost) recently like we used to 20 years ago. You'll find antiques, memorabilia, some kitsch- the same way you'll find locally made products. The way I see it, it's a shopping haven for me. You can even make your scent become a diffuser or perfume!! Lastly, there are drinks and food avaliable. Come back after two hours and you're candle is ready to go home. Crafts People showcases local artists and their unique creations. We stopped by and picked up a necklace for our daughter and my hubby surprises me with a funky Copper and Turquoise necklace.
