They are here to make money and that's it no care for animals and disgusting customer service. I want to make note that one particular employee who made our experience disastrous was Irene, the front desk receptionist. So I've boarded my Great Pyrenees here before, not more than 10 months ago so when we needed boarding services here again I thought, why not. Dang. When my fiancé brought our dogs in, they check them in and everything seems fine until Irene tells my fiancé the dogs vaccines are outdated and that we needed $200 worth of shots for them to stay. No effing way. Both of the dogs' shots were up to date, and she tried telling my fiancé that DAPP did not include the dog flu vaccine which it does. I immediately called my regular vet in Boise, and were told that the shots Irene was telling us we needed were unnecessary. This was after we got the dogs in...my question is why didn't you do your job and call our vet to get records beforehand (like many dog boarding services do)? Why did you wait after we got the dogs in and then tell us they need $200 worth of shots? And WHY WHY WHY WOULD YOU ASK "DO U JUST WANT US TO GIVE HIM WHAT HE NEEDS?" without being completely transparent about the details and costs? I'm so glad my fiancé stopped right there to do his due diligence.

They are loved, play with many other pups and play all day in a big backyard. The girls come home exhausted and happy. Kennels were clean and the knowledge that Pete has made me feel at ease leaving my girl behind with him. He truly loves what he does and cares for the dogs he takes in. Pete was honest with me in the fact that my dog lacked drive to be a motivated gun dog so I made the decision to bring her home after 1 month. In the 1 month she stayed to train at Goosebusters she was no longer gun shy and also would pick up live birds which I can continue to work with her on. Most importantly, my dog was happy, healthy and in good spirits when I came to see her. We decided to cash in on his board and care holiday program promo and we dropped off our dogs for training. Three weeks later and they have progressed SO much! This was a godsend for us because we were on the verge of having to possibly give up our dogs. Now, the dogs have the education and we have the tools to move forward and raise good dogs. The daunting task of moving states, remodeling a home, getting 3 small children settled in and looking for a job became barriers for us in not being able to train our dogs while they were smaller. They are 2 massive dogs in size and attitude and we have 3 small children so without the excellent training they received we may not have them anymore. W-H-A-T?!!!! My dog is like my child! This is like telling a parent of a toddler they aren't allowed to tour the facility for their child's daycare as it may 'upset the other kids'!
