Upon arrival the service technician (person who checks car in) told me I had no appt at 4:30 for tec to program a key to my car. I showed him the email I had been sent. One for each service at time I was told to arrive.He informed me service dept didn't have the remote unit as they had said. Great service department! I've been coming here for 28 years and the service is consistently good. I'm on my fifth set of service advisors, Blake and Slade, and they continue to uphold high quality work. Appointments are easy to make on line or by phone. If it's an emergency or unexpected problem they will work you in. You can drop off or wait, they have a van to take you to local appointments and pick you up while your vehicle is being repaired. My appointment was for a 4 hour 60,000 mile service. Sara gave me ride to the gym for a long workout. I've also gone to medical appointments. Very reliable, professional and proficient. Service department is absolutely horrendous. I've had to wait over 2 hours for an oil change. They are not equipped to handle anything more than basic services. My car went in a week ago for a repair. It should have been ready yesterday now they're saying 3-4 more days if the part fixing the problem. It could be even longer if not. I finalized the acquisition, and the vehicle was ready before the expected day promised and had all the add-on's I requested. Paperwork was done when I arrived, and I was in and out quickly. Seth took the time to explain features of the truck to me that I was unfamiliar with, helped me pair my phone with the system, and patiently answered my questions. Very personable and professional dealership to deal with. On top of that, Loving Toyota had the best out the door price for the vehicle. I had a huge run-around with Loving to get my windshield replaced. No one ever called to let me know the windshield had been there for 3 wks. Good enough, I made an appointment and they called my husband to let him know that they gave ME an incorrect estimate on the cost of the windshield. Why not call me, the one who left several messages and called every morning practically to get absolutely no help. Well the cost was double and I quickly let them know to put the old windshield back into the truck and not to touch it. Miraculously, that was not an option according to them. After letting me know how their multi-million dollar company was going to be at a loss, they honored THEIR mistake. I went to pick up the truck and this time I was treated even worse than before. This time they ignored me completely and helped everyone who was standing around. Even asking a guy who was coming out of the bathroom if he needed help. A complete s*it-show. LOL. I get out to the truck and when I got ready to leave the break was pulled to the hilt! I had to tell the Husband to come back and help me release it. There were shards of glass in the seat and console and the dash was filthy. Corporate needs to have a session with Loving to let them know that customers should not have to pay for the mistakes made by Loving. I will not be bringing the truck back to Lufkin. Complete incompetence at this dealership. Went in for an oil change, came out with a broken skid plate and the wrong oil in my 4Runner. They never took responsibility for their mistakes. Not even a sorry. They put 0w-20 in my 4.7L V8 (which takes 5w30) and broke my tabs on my skid plate that Toyota does not make anymore. They said they put the right oil in and just had it wrong on the paperwork but I know they didn't by the way my truck was running, also there was no reason for them to have it wrong on the paperwork. Took it back the next day for them to drain and put the right oil in which took about 3 mins (so not even sure if that was done) but then refused to give me paperwork showing they put the correct oil in. My truck does seem to be running better afterward, but is now leaking oil because they didn't change the crush washer. So not only am I out a skid plate, I paid $95 for it to get broken and the wrong oil, and I will now have to change the oil again to make sure it's the right oil and fix the leak from the crush washer. Made a complaint with Toyota and of course they just chalked it up as me being a difficult customer and refused to compensate me in any way. read more

I had a 2021 Tacoma that leaked whenever it rained ever since I bought it. I carried it over to loving Toyota 3 different times to have it fixed but they failed to fix it. Now its leaking again and they won't cover it with the warranty. the $2k extended warranty package I had only covered the powertrain, which was a waste of 2k. DONT BUY from this SHADE TREE ripoff unethical place. You should buy from a real dealership, one that has ethical values...... Guess that's why there are no vehicles on the lot!. read more

I had an incident on my trip from Houston, there was smoke and oil leaking rapidly. Loving Toyota in Lufkin, TX was the nearest dealership to me whom I took my vehicle in to get it checked. Upon inspection they determined my rubber oil cooler lines need to be replaced with new metal part. I was told they will replace it with a OEM Toyota part the next day and I had to get an overnight hotel.  They were not able to get the part in the same day and complete the replacement. They couldn't even provide me with a loaner. It's been two weeks now and I noticed the gaskets on the replaced oil cooler lines are leaking oil. I called the dealership, spoke to service and parts to confirm if the part was replaced with OEM Toyota part that I was promised and payed for, but they told me no it was replaced with an aftermarket part from O'reilly's. I even have part number document that I was showed by the service advisor and was told that they have ordered me the toyota oem part and will be coming the next morning. I also noticed that all the original oem bolts and clips on the covers underneath my vehicle had been replaced with improper bolts. They did not even put back my correct clips and bolts back on, claiming that it wasn't there before!  I have been lied to regarding installing an oem toyota part and regarding all the clips/bolts on the splash shield being missing. They installed an aftermarket oil cooler line instead, but still charging me the price for original toyota parts. On top of that, the aftermarket replacement is already leaking oil from the gaskets. read more

I got there 30 min early for my 12:30 apt and they didn't even move my car to a bay until 12:45...i asked the guy how long it would take and he told me about 45 min. That was a lie. Wow!!! What a wonderful experience!!! My wife and I were in the market for a good condition pre-owned Avalon and we contacted a number of dealerships within a 125 mile radius of our home in East Texas. Nearly all dealers were game playing with unwanted add on fees and tricky pricing. I looked at the Loving Toyota website and found a good candidate for a car. Upon filling out the "Contact Us" form, I was prepared to have to shift into psychological warfare mode to deal with the salesman. As is typical. I was called a short time later and was greeted by Allen Chhay, the internet manager. He was easy going and seemed honest and conscientious. We made an appointment and after hanging up I told my wife that "He seemed like a real nice guy." So we drove an hour to Loving Toyota in Lufkin and went inside. We met Allen in person and he was just as easy going as he seemed on the phone. Absolutely NO high pressure sales tactics or games. We looked at the car and decided to make an offer. We felt it was a fair one and it was accepted! I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, game wise, but it never did. The final stage was dealing with the finance manager, Rudy Salaiz, which has the potential to be a nightmare. But once again, a pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable person. No tricks at all. We got our car and left feeling that it was just too easy, but the process really WAS that easy. We will definitely recommend Loving Toyota to our friends and family in the future. If you need a Toyota or a good used car go to Loving Toyota first and save yourself some grief. These guys are slow. Their service department seems disorganized. I get my oil changed here because it's free and it always takes 3 hours or longer. The chrome peeled off of my rims and they got me new ones. It took 2 hours to change them. 4 rims, two hours, that's rediculous . 30 minutes per tire.... I would avoid their service department at all cost. In fact, I have another years worth of oil changes and will pay for my next one from anywhere else. read more

My husband and I were in the market for a new or used car since mine had recently died. We were greeted outside as we pulled up and then when something came up they found another gentleman to help us out. He was a online finance associate, as opposed to an actual salesman. But anytime we asked a question, he seemed to know the answer. He was extremely respectful with "Yes ma'm" and "Yes sir" which made my husband and I laugh! He was great though. We were able to be real with him. He helped us out every step of the way. When we got to financing we hit a snag, but he let us drive the car home that night and we just had to come back the next day to sign some of the paperwork. We did that, and it ended up that he had the entire finance team on the case! One woman stayed on the phone with one company for more than an hour trying to sort things out. The only downfall was that when we went into the finance managers office, he tried to sell us on a lease. Trying to make us feel like the loan didn't go through, sending us into panic. I told him I did not want a lease. He tried arguing with me, and I refused. He finally gave us the paperwork to sign to purchase the car. I couldn't believe he did that, especially after all the work these other two finance associates did to get us the loan. Extremely rude and greedy. But that was only him. The rest of the staff was great. We even met the owner and his dog, who were both extremely friendly. We finally signed the papers, and drove away! A week or so later we received a call from the finance department and they said they found a much better deal. We would keep the same monthly payment, but the interest was much lower which made us able to shave an entire year off our loan payments! We would suggest this dealership to anyone in a heartbeat! read more

We love our 4 Runner, but will not return to Loving Toyota in Lufkin, TX. We received a recall notice yesterday and promptly made an appointment to have the airbag replaced today. We called this morning at 8:15 am to be sure the part was available and would be ready to install for our 11:15 appointment. We were told there would be no problem. We arrived at 11:05 am and were told it would be1.5-2.0 hours. The shuttle service took us to a local store and we returned 2 hours later. Our car was not ready so we took a seat in the waiting area for THREE MORE HOURS! That is outrageous. We checked after each hour, but were told, "it takes a while." We understand some procedures might take longer than expected, but THREE HOURS longer? No one EVER came to update us. We had to continue to ask them. We did not buy our 4 Runner from Loving Toyota because they were not helpful nor did they seem interested in helping us when we were shopping. We went to Classic Toyota in Tyler and that is exactly where we will return to purchase our next Toyota and have all of our service quickly and efficiently addressed. We regret not driving to Tyler today, but because it was a recall we didn't want to be on the highway any longer than necessary. Toyota is not the problem---Loving Toyota is the problem. read more

Took my tundra with chrome wheels for tire rotation and asked if it could be done without scratching wheels, sure no problem they said. When they brought the truck out and we inspected we found three wheel caps were scratched. Talked to service manager and was told we didn't do it and we aren't fixing it. Their solution was to locate more wheel caps for US to buy. Will never go there again read more
