This is the second vinyl fence install I've had done for my patio and both times, the process has been unorganized, frustrating and difficult to deal with. I'm left with the impression that Lowe's caters to "big jobs" , so people with "small jobs" like mine ($1,854.34 + $1,234.28) are placed at the bottom of the priority list. To ME, $3,088.62 isn't that small but that's a separate issue. Here's some details: A Lowe's Project Specialist visited my property for an evaluation on February 15th. So, I signed a Contract on the 18th. Next, $1,234.28 worth of materials were purchased on the same day by the Project Specialist with my credit card. Today is March 6th and the Installation has not been completed. The reasons are: "we can't find materials for your job" and "somebody didn't pick up the materials for your job". After a visit to Customer Service at the store, I was told by a Manager, " we understand your frustration and someone will be in contact soon". At this point, I am just hopeful that this project gets completed. I do not enjoy giving negative reviews like this but this is what I experienced. My recommendation to customer's is that they review all other options before going through Lowe's home install. read more

Anyone that has recently or has ever purchased a washer or dryer from Lowes needs to check there receipt for charges or items that were not received. I was charged 33.00 bucks for a 4 wire item that would normally be charged to someone purchasing an Electric dryer, it was quite obvious that I was purchasing a Gas Dryer, so please check your line items very carefully, you maybe overcharged, read more

It took 20 minutes and two requests after purchasing a Blue Rhino propane tank exchange to get a Lowes associate to come out for the exchange at the Lowes on 3500 Nm 528 NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. I got home to find that they had exchange one with a handle piece that wouldn't fit my grill. So, I get to go and experience customer disdain all over again. I just came from Lowe's in Cottonwood corners and despite there being signs saying that masks are mandatory by State LAW, at least half the people being allowed in the store were not wearing masks. People throughout the store did not have on masks. When I asked Lowe's employees at the service desk what was going on I was told that Lowe's management had decided not to enforce the law....putting all of their customers at increased risk so they can make more money. Until today my experience at this Lowes store #1636 , was ok. I have purchased many big items, washer/dryer, stove, paint, so much paint many, many items for remodeling, garden supplies, outdoor furniture, ice makers etc. Occasionally I've had a not so great cashier experience, and a few great ones. Today was a a new low for a cashier named "Sophia" with, a "ph" as she most rudely stated when I asked. She was accusatory, blocked me from leaving , grabbed my basket and pushed back. Loudly said not to speak to her "that way" when I was explaining to her that I did not switch out an item I thought was already opened. I should of just left instead of telling her that I needed to switch it out. That's when everything went off the rails. Her behavior was incredibly rude and upsetting. While my partner was speaking to the two head cashiers to explain our situation, Sophia rudely interrupted her and while my partner said "I'm speaking" Sophia replied with ,"I can see that". This person should not be working with the public in in a customer service position. She did not listen she spoke over us was rude pushed my basket, all incredibly unnecessary. After the way myself and my partner were treated, I will never shop at this Lowes again, I likely will not to go to Lowes again! The 2 head cashiers (very professional and understanding) caught the end of this scene. They said the manager was not available as they were working on an order. I called and was told the manager was not in the store and they would be back tomorrow morning , hmmm. I'll stop in to speak to the store manager in person. I also reached out to the corporate number to file a complaint, sadly they don't make it easy to file a complaint. No one deserves to be treated badly by employees when you are shopping in this store or any other retailers. Looks like we will shop at other stores for needed items and will be canceling our Lowes credit card. read more

Are we in a communist country??? Went to purchase a few items. I wanted a geranium which got moved to right outside the garden center door. My husband reached his arm only out to get a geranium and the rent a cops there harassed him and told him he left the building so he had to get out of line and re enter. There was no negotiating or talking with them so demeaning. Will not go back. read more

My wife and I went to the Lowe's on 528 near Cottonwood Mall. We have done business with them a number of times in the past and were very happy with them. We were prepared to spend thousands on a home improvement project, but it didn't work out this time. We found both the selection and staff lacking. We found another store with knowledgeable, caring staff and plenty of variety to find exactly what we wanted. That other store is now going to get almost $9,000 in business from us. read more

I have 2 product/service reviews to post today. The first one deserves a zero or a minus because of how much of my time I have wasted related to the order and the poor quality of information I have received. I am not saying that they have lied to me, but you be the judge if you read this review. On May 26th my wife placed an in store order for a 7 pc. outdoor dining set. It was to be delivered on July 1st. It did not come on that date, but it was suggested that I check again when the next delivery truck comes in. I have been doing that at least once per week since then. My guess is I have checked 7 times, usually on the next Monday after 2 times + per week the 1st several weeks. They finally told me they would call me when the item arrives. OK so I am done with that, and I kind of understand the COVID-19 excuse, but I have no confidence I will ever get it. We offered to buy the floor model at least 4 times - twice each in each of 2 stores, but they said we never sell those - they are defective? Now both store floor models are gone - and no one knows where. I don't know what to think, but at best not given the full scoop related to the merchandise and my order. Last week we were shopping for a washer and dryer. We ended up liking the set in Lowe's. But left the store, intending to look at other stores - Home Depot and Baillo's - once we got in the car, we decided to go ahead and place the order partially because the delivery could be completed on the following Friday (tomorrow). Once back inside, I placed the order, upgrading the dryer to the steam option. Inventory was double checked and promised delivery was repeated. I purchased the LG washer and dryer. In fact I signed up for the Lowe's credit card to complete the purchase. Today I received a call explaining that my dryer was already sold to someone else and wouldn't be available til next week, probably on Wednesday (if it came on the Monday truck). Well I have been down that promised delivery on the truck recently with Lowe's - see purchase complaint above. I have been on hold twice about this for about 15-20 minutes total, dropped call one of those times. I talked to someone in Appliances about delivering the next higher model if they don't have my model. Not available... I asked about a discount... Right now I am waiting for a manager to call me back. And decided to write this review. At Baillo's in December, I had a similar problem - I ordered Refrigerator Oven/Microwave combo and Dishwasher. It turned out the Dishwasher had been promised to someone else. So he upgraded me at no extra charge. There is a big difference in promises versus delivering. My advice is shop around. My mistake was not learning from my previous "mistake". read more

So, I want to say that I've worked in retail management, centered around customer service for years. I don't like giving bad reviews, because I know how much it impacts a store. However. I am beyond frustrated and have been now for many weeks. I have spent thousands of dollars with them, while remodeling my home. Recently we decided that the cost of a new shed was more than we wanted to spend, so chose to get a shed "kit" from Lowe's, by Heartland. Never again. I paid for delivery to our home, to avoid the hassle (even though I own a truck). We paid in store, they told us the following Saturday someone would deliver it. Saturday afternoon came and still not a single call to confirm. We call the store to hear that there are no CDL drivers to deliver. No call? So, they say tomorrow, I see we have a driver we will call and hour before delivery. So, we call in the am, to confirm delivery for that day. Surprise, their mistake, again, no driver for that day. Then they find out they shed they sold us had been sold to someone else. Finally a manager calls back to say she is doing her best to find a replacement. She issued less than 10% discount, and tells us to wait while she figures it out. Finally get the shed, after two weeks of waiting. Have to wait another 2 weeks to start as we were on vacation. By the time we open it all we have MANY boards that are warped. The shed did NOT go smoothly with constantly trying to adjust for boards that didn't fit flush and instructions that lacked many of the basic steps. Completely over shopping at Lowe's. I will never recommend them to anyone, after multiple issues over the past two years, and a huge lack of customer service. They don't care. Period. read more

Horrible. I've gone to Lowe's for years. Went in to order blinds. Three times going in to an UNattended desk. Finally got the manager to order the blinds I wanted. Had to RETURN the blinds in order to get their attention to actually put them up (Yep, I'd paid for that service).... calling them to request an install got me nowhere (tried on three separate occasions). When finally installed they were not cut correctly and were the POOREST quality I have ever seen in blinds (Levelor). all this trouble for $800. I cannot believe I've wasted my time and money. They are coming to get them and I'm going ELSEWHERE. read more

I placed my first Lowe's order via their app at 9:30 this morning. Got an email at 9:44 saying it was in progress. This order was 4 small items. I called there at 12:45 and told them that my order still said 'in progress' and wondered if I should just cancel it and come and shop it myself. The man on the phone asked my name, I gave it to him, and he told me he canceled it. Didn't check on it, didn't give me an update, just told me he went ahead and canceled it. I was very polite and respectful with my inquiry and surprised by his response. So I went to Ace Hardware. And I won't ever be back to Lowe's. read more

My son and I were shopping in garden area, there were some giant bags of planting soil, we asked an associate how much they were he did his check and said they were $11.46, so we said great I will take a few there was a torn bag missing some dirt he told us it would be 50% off, we got that bag plus 3 more, then there was another bag torn and he also marked that 50% off, we decided to get that one also. Waited in line social distancing, got to register Valerie the cashier states that she cannot do the 50% off on the second bag cause there is too much dirt still in bag, I told her that it was marked 50% off she said she would only do 10%, I then asked if she could override the guy who marked it down she said yes, I then decided I did not want the 2nd bag, she became very rude angry grabbed the bag and threw it on the ground the bag tore even more with dirt coming out she then said that I should have taken the bag off my since I didn't want it anymore, I told her I am the customer why is she so rude, she said I was rude because I did not want the bag at 10% off, she then said she would not help me and proceeded to call on the next customer, I told her I would not leave she said she would not help me, she called a manager but was so rude in the meantime that we moved into the store to purchase our items, Lowes should not have such rude associates working for them, very disappointed I spoke with the mgr., he did apologize but I had to get into another line and wait again grant it I did walk away but only because the problem was escalating to a ridiculous out of control shouting match....not sure when I will shop there again, don't go to Valerie's line....rude as ---- read more

Holy cow. Hands down the best service ever and I did not even get the guy's name but will be calling corporate tomorrow and following up with an email as this had to be the best trip to lowes ever. Did I say ever. First off I bought something online they had it in stock and I showed up 10 min later and walked in and walked out no lie it took longer to buy online than actually pick it up. Plus the guy recognized my status and was awesome. He went way beyond and for Home Depot down the street maybe it would be time to learn from a more superior box store. First have the item in stock when you say it is, second put your high value items in a lock box or cage so you do not blame that on why you do not have something in stock and lastly be customer oriented. It goes a long long way. Lowes if I lived here I would drive to this location no matter what. Hands down awesome experience. read more

Every time I go to this place I can never find anyone who can tell me where to find stuff and then when I do find somebody on that rare occasion they know absolutely nothing about what I'm trying to buy. Bad shopping experience. Bad store manager who didn't want to help me so I called their home office. The market manager wasn't much better. And on top of all they didn't want to give me my military discount. This was the Unser store in Rio Rancho. NM. Bought it, set up delivery date, received call night before to verify from delivery guy for this morning, took off work, received call from store to say they don't have it! Maybe 3 weeks! This is the second time I've been to this Lowes in the middle of the day and they only have one register open (not even a self checkout register, just a regular register) and one register in the garden section. The lines to check out have been 10 to 15 min waits, meanwhile the store is crawling with Lowes employees, none of whom are trained to run a register, or so they all say. This wouldn't rate a review, but the second time it happened, I nicely asked the women running the cash register (once I finally made it through the line with my single item purchase) to ask her manager if they could train some more cash register help and she got really ass-y with me. So I went over and found a manager and asked him about training some more cash register folks myself. He was nicer, but even still, all he did was argue that the situation couldn't be helped because "everyone is on lunch." So I personally am not going back and you all should be warned because obviously no one wants to fix the problem. read more

Ok so, I love when I go to this location to actually purchase something. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and always know where to direct me for what I am looking for. However, if you are looking for their 'install' service on bigger items, say a front door. Dont waste your time. Heres the long and short of it, I paid for in advance (as per their procedures) an estimate to have a new front door installed. I did this on the 13th of Nov, the estimate document says I will be contacted within 2 business days to schedule, this should have been by 16th of Nov. As of the 20th at 9:30 am I had heard nothing so I phoned to follow up and talked to 'P*** in the Milworks dept, he stated he would call back with an update, at 4:50pm still nothing. So I called back and spoke with B*** in the same dept. He stated the sales mgr was already off but that he resent the scheduling request out and the the sales mgr would call me the next day. So I waited, I waited 3 business days, on the 23rd still nada so I phoned back. I spoke with D*** at 7pm on the 23rd. I was told to call back after 8am in the morning. So on the 24th (we are now 8 business days and 11 days since my purchase of the estimate) I phoned back at 9am and spoke with B** and was told that no one was around that could help and did I want to cancel the estimate. I told him no, I needed a new door and needed them to follow through on the purchase, especially now that my CC statement had come and Im now paying interest on a service that they have yet to perform. He stated he could not help me but he would have someone phone me back later that day. Well here I sit, 6:30pm and what a surprise, no call back. My next step is to call corporate, and then I'll phone the store again. So excellent in store service, LOUSY AND DISINTERESTED follow up on any 'install' purchase. I just need them to make this right and sell and install a new door as I wanted. Hmmm Maybe Home Depot will be more attentive? read more

I usally brags about Lowes service,but this time was the worst possible,the counter top person,did now know what he was doing. I was trying to put counter top in kitchen,island in kitchen in two small bathroom,first they measure and we pick out a counter top.I had to make 3 extra trip to Lowes (40 miles away)Because they did not added everything,suppose to be less then 1 hrs each,ended up 2 to 4 hrs each, And they the contractor they hire measure different,call me up and needed 13extra square feets, The person I was talking to quite,so i asked how much extra ,he stated $540.extra. I ask him if he could help me out on this,he said come back in ,and probalycould help me some. I went back in,I was schedule for 10:am,arrived at 9:45,and he stated that I was suppose to be in at 8am,and i need to reschedule. I said can t I just pay you the different,and he stated the price was $870 and I told him that ,You told be on the phone $540.he stated that that didn t include the mount and Etc. And that the way it is. I said no and just refund the money that I already paid. And he stated that was okay,but I need to deal with lowes credit card.and I stated if he could help me with that and he stated that the Cashier up front would help me. So I called the credit card for lowes and they stated that I would have to wait 48 hrs and the called back.So I called back and ask for my refund,and then they stated it would take up to 15 working days.This process took 2 months. This is the store on juan Tabo,Albuquerque,NM.I went to the store on 12th street,because I was still really to deal with lowes,And the sale person tried to take over the account,but she was told that they would not transfer the paperwork. I came to Lowes,because of the service at Home Depot,In the last 5 yrs,I put 3 room lamninet flooring,1 new rug,a 24 by 20 ft deck,one $450. storm door and brought many other this.But this service was the worst ever. I was so disapointed.I probaly never go back in this store. read more
