Wow! The team at Landscaping is so Wondeful! The customer service is fantastic with knowledge and help loading my truck. Also Sherry is the best at checking customers out with my military discount! Kevin the section Manager talks to me all the time and ask me how things are when I shop at Lowe's. I was in there everyday for 2 weeks working on my project at home. I had 60 ft of length by 15fr wide to make look pretty. I live in Greystone Farms. Say and Nassim helped me laid the truck everytime. Great support! It was a massive project and I did all of it myself except drilling the railroad cross ties in the ground. I moved them 60ft! LOL. 50 bags of 50lbs of Mulch as so much more. I quit going to the other place because Lowe's employees are so nice and knowledgeable. Ask for Kevin the Manager! Sherry is the best! Say and Nassim loads the stuff up. I have already paid for an expensive item. It said ready in 3 hours. I show approximately 4 hours after I ordered this woman looked at me like I was crazy she said there's like 4 items ahead of you. It'll be later this evening. I think if you're gonna promise somebody that you can pick an item up after certain amount of time you better damn well have it ready to pick up!! poor customer service! read more

Well stocked and organized. Definitely in a transition period in the garden center between summer and fall. I went in looking for basil plants and only found a couple sad looking ones. I will say, nobody offered me any assistance, as normally occurs as a young woman at a home improvement store. My one complaint is that they did not have any of the pallet buggies outside around the garden center, at least that I could find. I had to walk all the way back to the main entrance to find a regular shopping cart. Parking is easy, it's a great location right off 280. Ready for all things fall! They had some mums out, not blooming quite yet. Lots of halloween decorations out, including the 12ft tall skeleton. No pumpkins yet. read more

I ordered 110 bags of mulch via the internet. They sent me a confirmation email with the delivery set for 4-20. They never delivered the order so I called them on 4-21. I was informed that their truck broke down so they had to reschedule it for 4-27. I understand a truck issue, but I thought 6 days was a little long. Nobody showed up on 4-27 so I contacted them on 4-28. They said they had to reschedule the delivery to 4-30 between 8:00am and noon. On 4-30 I called the store around 3:00 for an update. I was put on hold and finally hung up after holding for 10 minutes. It is almost 5:00 so I called them again and was told the order had not even been loaded. I said, so it will be delivered tomorrow? The answer, I guess so. It will be interesting to see when I finally get the order. read more

Not this location but to be fair, their Corporate Mgmt sucks. I bought a dishwasher from them where they tried to charge me for it twice, and when it wouldn't go through the second time after the cost was sitting in my pending, they tried to tell me I needed a new credit card. Somehow they screwed up the order and then I told them to cancel it. I got in touch with corporate trying to get the dishwasher at the Black Friday price since they canceled, but was told that they would use my unfortunate occurrence as a training tool. So I did get my money back, but they're not willing to do anything to help you if something goes incorrectly because they screwed up. read more

Staff knowledge is low on basics - where carts are, availability for purchasing lumber, and general hardware questions. There is a cashier named DAVID and mind you we spend thousands of dollar's there. Every time we go to check out he is always yelling at us for the phone number for the account, smashing the receipt on the counter, cash, supplies, and cards. I've been to so many different Lowe's across the country over the years and never remember bad things happening but it's always just kinda plain I guess. However, this location this very day surprised me. The server at the appliances and the server at the checkout center were seriously mind-blowing perfect workers. Wow. Lowe's has always been competitive on price, but their customer service is abysmal. They do not have curbside service, regardless of their claim. There are designated spots you're supposed to pull into, then you're supposed to call a telephone number and press "2" for curbside pickup. You are basically in an endless loop of pressing 2 over and over again. When someone picked up at the customer service desk (which, mind you, is in the chair RIGHT BESIDE the person that's supposed to be doing curbside pickup), I was sent right back into the loop, and she eventually hung up on me. I was on the phone over 10 minutes the first call before I was hung up on. I called back - because I really wanted them to bring me what I had ordered. I was again on the phone over 10 minutes before they hung up on me. No one ever brought me my stuff. I eventually had to go inside to pick up my items. The customer service rep was rude, did not offer an apology, and was acting like I had clearly put her out for even suggesting that I might want to have my purchase delivered curbside. read more

There's lots of associates here. No one could help me get the caulk I needed on their very top shelf so I had to push the huge ladder myself and climb all the way to the top to get it myself. I would have gladly followed the "associates only sign" on the shaky ladder, but I just didn't want to wait forever and a day for someone to come help. Bought $150 in trim work and tried buying one piece of oak quarter round. Wouldn't scan at the self check out so took it to the register by the wood and it rang up as 2 cents. Cashier said they couldn't sell it if it rang up as 2 cents, they had to throw it away. That was the only oak quarter round they had with at least 10 pieces of it in the section. Took it back and wouldn't let us buy it. So instead of selling it for 2 cents, they are going to throw it away out back where no one can use it. Will not be going back to that Lowe's. The same trip, a man hit the customer service button for the paint about 10 times as the self check out lady saw him standing there for 15 minutes with no help. read more

I am a long time customer, spending tens of thousands of dollars at Lowes in the past but getting no help with my present situation. We purchased 2,300 sqft of LVP flooring in 2021 and within 12 months it was falling apart, splintering. In Nov 2022 I went back to the local Lowes (Fultondale, AL) and was told they do not help with warranty claims. So I contacted the manufacturer (Shaw), sending pictures, dates of purchase, etc. I called at least 5 times and spoke to different people each time who promised to do something (get an adjuster out, make it priority, etc) but after the phone call was over they ghosted me. Finally, a couple months ago, Shaw said they needed a form from the local Lowes store. They emailed the manager over the local flooring department, asking for the necessary form and copied me in the email. He never replied, I have emailed him 3 more times, been back in the store to talk to 2 employees, made several phone calls when I was told that manager was in the store, left messages for him, but he has never come to the phone, or come to the service desk to meet me, or ever returned my calls. *** Our flooring is a trip hazard as it is splintering so badly. But Shaw wants to send an adjuster to view it but I need to take it up now before someone gets hurt! read more

I bought a refrigerator and as soon as I started using it, it freezes the food. By directions you have to wait over 24 hours to use then make adjustment which puts you at over 48 hours. Lowe's they are not responsible after 48 hours and the management refuses to even take my call. It took 2 days for me to get through to the manufacture and they said it will be over a week before they can look at it. read more

Horrible employer. I was hired 072524, I came in for orientation 080224 as I developed pneumonia after my interview and couldnt come in for the orientation on 072724 . I had 2 forms of ID as requested for the orientation on 080224 but Rosa HR lady rejected one of them. I offered to stay for the orientation and would scan and email it the 2nd document later that day. Rosa told me harshly to get out and leave and come back tomorrow with the document for another orientation the next day 080324. I politely left and was waiting for her to contact me back today the next day 080324 to tell me when to come in. I thought that this was a reasonable approach. No contact from them and so didn't go in. I get an email this afternoon 080324 advising me I am terminated. WOW! What a bunch of mean people especially Rosa!!! Soooo a year ago I try to place a $3K+ order online with Lowe's. It was a total nightmare... too long & treacherous to explain but I did leearn that my bank views Lowe's as some kind of scammer because of the way they run their credit cards online. I estimate I spent approx 7-8 hours of my free time getting that order corrected during the online order fiasco of 2017. After that nightmare I vowed to avoid Lowe's like the plague but ::sigh:: enter yesterday... Last night I placed an online order for store pickup for a washer/dryer stacking kit (for the washer/dryer set I ordered during the nightmare ordering fiasco of 2017). My local Lowe's showed they had 1 unit in stock so I placed the order. I received an immediate email order confirmation. I also awoke in the morning to an email telling me my order had been pulled & was ready for pickup. Now, let me go back in time to tell you that I scheduled an installer the moment I placed/completed my online order for the stacking kit. The installer is due to be at my house between 6&7PM tonight. I ran to Lowe's today around 5PM to pick up my order and... I was told they do not have the W/D stacking kit in stock. They do not know why I got an order confirmation last night nor do they know why I got a second email confirming that my order was completed & ready for pickup since they do not even stock the item. After 2 massive nightmare online order experiences with Lowe's, I have come to the conclusion that if you have the intelligence to wipe your own arse when going to the Loo, you are massively overqualified to work at a Lowe's Home Improvement store. My installer & I would like to give all of you at Lowe's, Hwy 280 the BIG finger for wasting our time. Bought a dishwasher 11/24 and purchased installation - used Lowe's because we appreciate the military discount. Received a call a couple days later that the dishwasher was ready for us to pick up. When we reminded them we paid for installation, they said an installer would be in contact to schedule. Three weeks go by. Every time we check on it, we are told an installer will be in touch. Finally, an installer calls and we schedule for 12/22. We remove our old dishwasher and I take the day off of work. At around around noon the installer calls and says he's at Lowe's but they don't have our dishwasher. We call repeatedly over the next several days and get tossed around on the phone with promises of a call back without resolution. Now, I have a gaping hole in my cabinetry, an old dishwasher in my kitchen floor, family coming for Christmas, and a charge for almost $1000 on my credit card and NO DISHWASHER. Finally, 11/27, I called and cancelled the whole order. Over a month, a wasted day from work, and no resolution and not a single person who really even seemed to care. I know it's a busy season and I feel like we were more than reasonable to give it over a month, but this is ridiculous. Lowe's does not care about you or your business. Big box, little service. I won't be doing business with them again. I hope others will see this and save themselves the same trouble. read more

The prices are generally good, but prepare to wait for a while in customer disservice and/or checkout lines. Updated to one star to reflect the 30 minutes it takes to return an item. This store is absolutely the epitome of ineffectiveness run. The materials are absolute crap as you can see employees have just thrown them around. Employers are either lazy or condescending. Half of them are standing around texting and the other half are no where to be found. I have been waiting over an HOUR FOR SOMEONE TO JUST TELL ME IF THEY ARE OUT OF A PRODUCT OR IF THEY HAVE IT IN THE BACK ROOM. Bought a grill in store and was told it would be ready within a week to be picked up. This was not even close, and to make it worse l when I called back the service was not professional. They told me over the phone it was ready for pick up but when I got the store it wasn't ready. I understand if your running behind, but just let people know upfront. I am sure I have put this in a Lowe's review before. But of the big box home improvement stores, I prefer Lowe's. The customer service and knowledge of the employees has always been better than their competitors. But I sense that sort of slipping away some. And particularly at this location. This Lowe's is set up a little bit different than the others I have been in. In this trip I was looking at closet shelving. In the other stores I have been in, it is usually around the middle and on the front half of the aisles. This store it is tucked away in the back right corner as you walk in the front. They had the items I needed, but I did need them cut. I asked a nearby employee for help. To which she went and called someone over the speaker. No one came, but she was doing something on that aisle, so she stuck around and saw that no one did. After saying she was going to attempt with the bolt cutters (they did not have the hydraulic cutters at this store), I said I was happy to do it. She helped me set them up, measure them, and move them around while I cut. She was extremely helpful. But it seemed that her co-workers didn't have the go-get-em attitude when hearing some assistance needed. I don't see myself coming this far down 280 very often. But this experience fell somewhere right down the middle. read more

If you go to the customer service desk, they are very unfriendly and are not helpful in the slightest. Not to mention, I paid for window blinds and installation but the installer never showed up and for weeks customer service couldn't give me any answers. I ended up requesting a refund and I did my window blinds myself for my entire house. I went to Lowe's this afternoon and had a very satisfying experience. I needed to make a copy of an office key and walked right up to the counter and within 30 seconds I had an associate approach me from the far end of the aisle ready to help. 2 minutes later I had my key and I was then able to check out immediately at one of the counters. I was in and out of the store with a new cut key in under 5 minutes - can't beat that! Five stars on this visit read more

I really like Lowe's. Everything is organized so well and neat, plenty of help. The Garden Shop is great but seem to be short of help right not. My only complaint is NO BASKETS in the garden shop. I have to park, walk back to front door for a basket, then back to Garden Shop. They never put any just for garden shop use except the huge dollies that are too hard to maneuver. read more

We purchased a washer and dryer here in May for delivery in June. They were exactly as we were promised. There was an issue with the washer upon deliver and they tried to bring us another washer just in case the problem persisted. No more problems with that child lock issue and all is well.
