BEWARE - There are SHADY people at this store!…read more I sent a package to this store about two months ago - because the store bought replacement ink cartridges from me. I sent the items promptly via USPS Priority Mail to the address of Carrows True Value and it was listed as delivered several days later ( a few days before Christmas). A few days ago, I got a message from my payment system that there was a dispute. I opened the message and it stated that the "buyer has not received item". Just to verify - I pull up the transaction and the tracking info associated with it and it is verified that it was delivered! Mind you, Carrows True Value could have done the same thing I did (looking up tracking info), but they decided to contact thier credit card company to dispute. Carrows contacting thier credit card company to dispute this purchase they made bypassed 1) contacting me vie email that there was a problem, 2) bypassing the marketplace dispute process, 3) bypassing the payment systems dispute process. They are trying to go back on a transaction for an item that was delivered per USPS Priority Mail tracking. Please note since it was delivered via USPS Priority Mail - there was insurance automatically included. But they can't file a claim because it wasn't lost - it was delivered per the tracking info! I didn't expect this from a hardware store in a working class area of Minnesota! Don't trust Carrows Hardware/True Value! Keep any document that you may have pertaining to transactions because they may make unfounded disputes.

Every time we call or stop they have a different excuse for not having it. The last time we stopped, we talked to the owner himself and he more or less told us that they weren't concerned about the matter implying he could care less. I don't intend to ever buy anything from them again as it seems all they are concerned about is the sale and nothing else. I Did notice four or five employees moving a pallet of items so I waited for them to finish . Not one of them looked up, not one of them offered to help. Finally one employee noticed me-but walked right past me, smiled, and flipped me the peace sign! Really?!?! ( I LOVE the peace sign by the way). When one of the employees finally decided that i wasn't going away they did offer assistance- "Oh, that's upfront". So then i could at least wander around in the general vicinity.......That's it. The end. I am over it. And done with it. I might be the Xmas Grinch! Lol -- feeling annoyed.
