I genuinely like Lowe's. I've always went here with my father and had a great experience. Today was not the case. The associate (R) did not seem happy to help or to answer my questions about the turf. I was planning on getting a 18 foot wide by 27 feet long piece of turf. I wasn't getting the cheapest or the most expensive either. The selection was rather small and after me in the wife made a decision on a brand that we were comfortable with they didn't have enough of it. It would have been nice for them to accommodate my wife and I and offer the same price another one that was similar to it with in reason. It's summer time Lowe's you have all the mulch and plants in the world, but not enough turf. I'm surprised and disappointed I have to go to Home Depot now. Please managers make sure your employees are trained on how to take care of and respond to guest and customers. I shouldn't feel like I'm bothering someone at their job!!!! Very unsettling feeling. My husband and I were assisted by Nancy and Robert in the appliance department, at the Brooksville's Lowes. Our freezer had gone out unexpectantly and we were in need of instant replacement. Nancy was very helpful in helping us locate and educate us on the right freezer, and Robert was quick to be sure one was in stock, so we could take it right away. We did not have time to have it delivered. Thankfully, within 2 hours of learning our freezer at home needed replacing...we selected, loaded (with Robert's help), and had the emergency resolved. I bought a $1144.00 refrigerator from Lowes on June 8th 2024 from Lowes In Tampa Fl. After a few days it was so loud ( sounded like a condenser fan) that we could not sleep. I called Lowes and waited all day for repair, they showed at 5pm. They were delivery men and spoke no English. My Spanish is minimal. They said I needed a new refrigerator. I called Lowes and they said they only give 48 hours but they would replace it but I had to wait days for a new one. Their other solution was for me to buy another one and refund the old one. I have always used Lowes and this was a big surprise to me. I am on a fixed income and could not afford to pay for another one. I wish I had used Home Depot, I just can't believe that 10 days after a purchase they could not send out someone to repair this item. I was just shopping at my Lowe's at 7117 Broad Street in Brooksville, Florida. I needed to use the men's rest room. Other than being the most filthy, disgusting, foul environment I've seen in years, the toilet seat was even broken. There was enough feces dried on the under half of the toilet seat to make one's stomach turn. Dried, as it's been there a while. After having to sit on it, holding my pants legs away from urine on the floor, I had to curtail further shopping to go home and shower. Thanks Lowes. read more

I'm not very happy with this Lowe's. They did not carry the most basic hardware I needed to hang curtains nor a simple cabinet hook. They only had 1 drill option under $40. Items like rags and cleaners were overpriced by $1+. Lowe's is clearly focused on Home Improvement projects like fancy gate brackets, fancy faucets, fancy mailboxes, fancy closets. I just wanted a saw that costs less than $15, which is why I am going next door to Walmart. I couldn't get the basic tools I need, but I added a star because most of the staff was friendly and helpful. read more

I would think their management would know that many people come looking for home improvement products on their day off, Saturday. There were very few employees around to help and/or to answer questions. Even worse, there were only 3 check out lanes open. People were lined up 4 to 5 deep waiting to check out. I went into the store in need of a piece of polycarbonate. Upon getting to that section of store I needed an associate to cut it for me. I went around the area and talked to a couple of associates for assistance. They told me someone would be there shortly. I waited and waited. No assistance. I went to the front desk. The lady seemed not to care to help me find assistance. I again went back and waited. Another associate walked by and said someone would be by shortly. After an hour of waiting I decided to leave the store without what I was there for. read more

Since it's the closest store of its kind to our location we shop there a lot. Went to make a purchase for some item had a merchandise credit , couldn't process at a self serve check out. Only problem there were NO open registers with a cashier ! read more

I have a bad experience 2 out of 3 visits here. If there were a Home Depot closer, I would absolutely go there. It is impossible to find an employee 95% of the time willing to help that knows anything about their department. I have waited 30 minutes in line at a register because a customer had to move money around accounts. Meanwhile 4 other employees stood around and stared at their personal phones or were chatting instead of opening an additional register or finding someone who could. The reason I gave them 2 stars is because of the military discount. Please try to be a more customer conscious retail store because you are not as of present. read more

Amazing new manager named Tina. I called for a shed because Home Depot failed to call me within the 48 hours they promised. After waiting for Home Depot for 72 hours, I called Lowe's. Enter Tina. She took my information and she promised to call me back and she promised to walk down to the department involved so that I was not jerked around on the telephone. This kind of service needs to be known by the people whom Tina serves and the people who hired Tina. Thank you Tina because he made an unpleasant experience very pleasant. read more

I really think this entire store was built by the Chinese. I Went to buy a new shower head and kitchen faucet. NOTHING there is made in the US or anywhere other than China. I would have paid $200 for a shower head that said "MADE IN THE USA" . Delta, Moen,Aqua source- all made in China. All of the hardware is made in China too because I thought I might just rebuild my existing faucet. Where are American Standard faucets? read more

The best Lowe's in their chain-- or at least the best one I've been to! I do occasionally visit other nearby Lowe's (Zephyrhills and Spring Hill in particular), and there's no comparison. In particular, if you need expert plumbing, electrical, flooring or painting advice, ask these guys. You'll get people that know what they're talking about and can get you pointed in the right direction. (These are very technical departments that require some experienced people, ideally with years of experience prior to coming to work for Lowe's-- and I've gotten to know several of their folks in each, who clearly have just that. Former electricians, plumbers, flooring installers and painters. Folks that know their stuff.) The hardware department I would grade as just an "ok to good" but certainly as good as other Lowe's I've been to, as is the building supplies and the garden departments. All in all these others are good departments, but not as good as those listed above. I have found that each of these departments has some associates that are great, some that are good... and some that are only good at telling you which aisle to find what you're looking for. But that's ok by me, since in those departments I usually already know what I need-- I just need someone to tell me where to find it.. I also like the attitude of the staff in the entire store-- very helpful, very friendly. Clearly the store manager knows how to hire the right people and how to motivate them. Here's a great tip- download the Lowe's ap for your smartphone. No kidding. Searches are a snap, and when you find what you're looking for, it will tell you EXACTLY where to find it. No kidding-- it will take you right to it. I stumbled across it about a year ago. Tip #2- if you've a veteran, you can sign up and get 10% off of all your purchases that are for your personal use. How cool is that? All in all, a great store. It's become my "go to" place for all things building materials, including shopping online and picking it up same day or the next day. read more

I purchased a Husqvarna HU725AWD, the all wheel drive push mower. I thought it was ridiculous at first but I was tired of the junk lawn mowers. This mower is quiet, very little vibration, and a consistent cut. After a year this still works as it did out of the box. The traction is good too. The negative is it's weight, yep its heavy. I'm very pleased with the consistency of the Husqvarna name. read more

I have had a couple unpleasant experiences with delivery of appliances over the last 5 years but our last delivery was the worst and will prevent me from paying to have anything delivered again. It's unbelievable that after all the deliveries we've had, and my explanation of our road condition that in the last delivery the driver came down our single lane sand road with the Semi Truck & trailer!!!!!! He got it stuck, and wedged at our gate into a patch of trees. Ironically the same driver delivered our washer in a box truck and scolded is that he would never be able to deliver to is again. Yet, he called just before coming and again I told him to park and use the forklift to come in. He chose to drive the whole semi in ~ then when a supervisor showed up with a chain saw they cut down two trees, leaving them whole for us to deal with! I said when you get it free and drive in turn around in our pasture then stop and use the forklift please so our driveway isn't damaged. I saw him urn around - but he began backing down our driveway so I went out and stopped him (via supervisor) and he got put of the truck cursed me to my face! He also was very aggressive with me at the gate when I discovered his mistake. It's a shame anyone feels like they have a right to treat another person like that. I was very disappointed in the management's communication with me also. read more

Pretty disappointed in Loews customer service and installations. Purchased a garage door opener and the installation from the Brooksville, Florida location (#1827) on 2/20. Purchase Order # 1714448--. Called to confirm the Installation on 2/28. On 2/28 the window for installation came and passed. Only after I called Lowe's Installation Hotline did my wife get an email saying the installation was postponed to 3/4. Needless to say we waited around on 2/28 at our home for the installation, which never came. So we finally get an email saying the installation is postponed until 3/4 and they give us a window of time between 1-4 pm. Well, today is 3/4 and guess what? No installation. Again, my wife has to send emails to the installer to get an update. Finally, got an email saying installation was now postponed to 3/8 between 9-12. Again, we waited at the house. Lots of wasted time. If you do not literally hound them with phone calls and emails you get no results. Customer service bad, follow up is bad, and had I known any of this I would have never selected Lowe's. In my opinion them taking care of this Veteran borders on a joke. read more

They make her feel as welcome as I do. If they do not carry what you need they will advise you on where to go. Great people. read more

I have shopped in Lowes all over the country with good experiences. The Lowes store in Brooksville Florida has been a major disappointment. Sales associates have been rude and unhelpful. Most times associates have been near impossible to find for help. When paged for most departments, no one ever shows up and I end up leaving and going elsewhere to get what I need. read more

Please keep in mind, it took me around 4 years to try to forget about this nightmare, but in the meantime, I have lost my home, and went bankrupt. If I did not have health problems, I could have EXPERTLY laid the tile myself, with no help... Done it many times, and precisely. So, why do I still care? Just read, if you're you're bored... Was foolish of me to think I'd be "safe" by going with a big company to install my flooring. From the second the guys knocked on my door, one complained about being allergic to cats. I left them alone in my house to run out for a $20 box of Benadryl and smiled while handing it to him... Oh no, it didn't stop there... They looked in a 2 foot by 3 foot closet and said it was not part of the job. I kindly asked that they review the contract that I had in my hand, as it clearly included a picture of it as part of the job. Furthermore, I said if it was not, then I would gladly pay the additional amount needed to complete it (again, it WAS included in the contract). He immediately rejected it while sighing and simply said "ah fine, we'll do it, it's no big deal". As they were working on the install, they began talking about how they were not even employees of the company that was contracted with Lowes, they were sub-contracted through a Craigslist ad. Yep, you read correctly, I received two UNLICENSED guys from the bottom of the barrel website. I figured that since it's backed by Lowes, I need not worry or panic. Well, from the beginning, they kept laying the tiles without the 1/4" spacers on the 16" tiles, no matter how many times I insisted. Some were so close, they were butted. Also, instead of applying the correct layer of thin-set mortar, they simply lifted tiles and tossed a clump of mortar on the needed corners to level em out a bit. Any tile layer knows the tile will easily shatter upon impact of a falling object or the weight of furniture legs if there's no mortar underneath the ENTIRE tile. So there I working along side them getting even more angry and frustrated with their work... Then they both tried working me over and manipulating me with their health problems, as if I don't have any myself... I apologized for their misfortune, but explained that I should not be made to suffer because of it. By the end of the 3rd day, I was exhausted and fed-up with their confrontations. Keep in mind, this was not about money, I paid for everything in advance and just wanted it done CORRECTLY, nothing more. I called Lowes and they referred me to their contractor who hired my installers for this single job. Well, we got to yelling, of course, and I said: "if I wanted two guys off of Craigslist, I would have found em myself!"... His reply? "Well, maybe you SHOULD have"... I was amazed, and simply hung up the phone... Well, feeling defeated and completely powerless to the situation, I just closed my eyes and let them continue. What, refuse them when Lowes, nor the contractor would even come out to see what I was talking about? I would have been counter-sued and just was not interested in anymore drama... As they were finishing up, they REFUSED to wipe the obvious haze left by the grout... If you know anything about this, it will leave a permanent hue or cloudy residue that cannot be removed once dry. Well, by the time I finally got a representative to arrive, they had already FLOODED the place to give it the "wet-look", which would only HIDE the haze. While Lowes was inspecting, only THEN did the two guys start wiping the floor down... Again, I never complained about money, nor did I seek ANY sort of reduction or refund... I'm a proud retired 100% disabled veteran and can no longer do the work myself... and 2 years ago, I decided to RENT for the rest of my life... I will NEVER go through this again, not even for FREE. read more
