Lowes should be ashamed of themselves. I purchased a craftsman riding mower 10 days ago. Delivery went well. But when I used the mower the throttle was floating(not staying in position). Lowes picked it up and delivered another one. This one was a huge disappointment. Evidently this one had been wrecked at the front end. Packing tape was holding the lights in and 1/2 gaps around the lights, down the side and where the hood met the frame. The guy that picked that one up was shocked. He took pictures of the damage. He said there no gas in it. Well thats how they brought it. Its never been moved since the delivery. The one star is for all the delivery and pick up guys. They were great! Lowes you are a disappointment and I've got pictures to prove it. read more

I like the hardware tools Lowe's offers but the plant selection is horrible! There's 7 varieties of English Ivy, a terrible invasive plant that creates carpets over the forest floor and smothers trees. There isn't a single native plant and the "wildflower" seed packets have seeds that are native to China! read more

The customer service here sucked! Waited at the screen doors for 30 minutes pressing the call button for help and nobody came. I searched for an employee found someone from the online order department named Shamar Helped us out no problem after I asked him, a shame that I had to get someone from another department to even help us. Overall you better hope Shamar is there! read more

So incredibly disappointed. My Husband and I have spent a significant amount of money at Lowe's this past year. We just bought 3 new appliances, a washer, a dryer and a new gas range. Lowes told us they could install our gas range. On delivery day it was dropped off in my dining room and was told to call the gas company for installation. After waiting three days for the gas company to install, the stove is malfunctioning and not working. We call Lowe's and they tell us it's past the 48 hour return policy. So beyond frustrating. How are we supposed to know you sold us a defective product until it was actually hooked up. Rude customer service told us to bad call whirlpool. Pay full price for a product we can't use and now have to wait to file a claim to repair a "new product"!!! read more

The self checkout are a complete failure. No one likes them and a large amount of ppl have trouble using them. But, in order to save money, they get rid of the cashiers. Well, I've spent 10's of thousands of dollars there but no more. I'll be a Home Depot person now, where they still have live ppl there to check you out. Ordered an Item online and paid the $79 delivery fee. Items were supposed to be delivered on 5/03/25 between 8am and 12pm. I waited around all day and still no delivery and no phone call. Chatted with customer service online they were extremely helpful and let me know my items were being shipped from the Burlington store and they provided me the store telephone number. I called shipping department at the Burlington store and was told that they didnt know why the items were not shipped because they were in stock. I was promised a cal back to let me know when the items would arrive but as i expected no phone call occured. I checked my order status online only to find that they scheduled another delivery date which is a week away. I called store back and was told my original order wasnt delivered because a driver called out sick and they only deliver to my zip code once a week. Know one could explain why they didnt have the decency to call the customer and let them know not to waste a day waiting on a delivery that wasnt coming. There was absolutley zero customer service or any concern shown for the customer during this phone call, Home Depot will get all my future business even if it means paying more. read more

The worst customer service experience of my life. I attempted to purchase concrete blocks and have them delivered today. My delivery time of 7 - 9am was confirmed by email. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up -- and then I randomly received an email from this store indicating that my delivery date was now set for three days' from now. When I called the number listed on my email for delivery inquiries, I was transferred to no fewer than 6 different incompetent "customer service" reps, none of whom addressed my problem or even warned me before transferring me to a different representative. I finally cancelled my order altogether rather than deal with any more of this disorganization. Please BEWARE this store's terrible customer service, if you possibly can. read more

Big shout out of thanks to Kimmy, manager in the appliances department. Last Friday, she turned what could've been a real fouled up situation into a stunning success. Thursday morning purchase of a multi thousand dollar Bosch refrigerator, whose delivery is not due until the end of August, included a loaner refrigerator to be delivered on Friday between eight and four. Someone in the sales completion process failed to notify the contractor to deliver the loaner refrigerator and pick up our old refrigerator. So at 4pm when no delivery happened on Friday, we called Lowe's and eventually got to Kimmy. She took charge, found the error, located Frank the contractor who was still in the store and got him to come to our house with the loaner refrigerator, take out the old one with great difficulty and easily install the smaller loaner. Frank and his helper were pleasant and competent. Bottom line is Kimmy saved the day and we greatly appreciate her competence and her can-do attitude. She is a star employee of Lowe's and I hope her boss reads this and congratulates her for her good work. read more

They don't even deserve the 1 star...We have had THE worst experience ever with Lowes regarding them fencing our backyard. It has been a nightmare for the past 4 months. A project that was suppose to take 6 weeks (due to shipping delays...whatever) has taken over 4 months. We expected the 6 weeks for materials but when they finally got to us, and the guys contracted out to build the fence finally got to us, THEY MEASURED OUR GATES WRONG. Ok, fine...we wait another 6 weeks for the new gates only to find out THEY ORDERED THE WRONG GATES. So we wait even longer and then no one lets us know the gates have arrived at Lowes but no one let us know for 5 days. We call and the managers ignore us. They only did something when we called corporate. Then they were blaming everyone else about it. We will NEVER go through Lowes again. It has been the worst experience of any home reno we have done(and we have done a lot!) When will they learn that communication is KEY. We have been extremely patient and understanding. By the way, the salesman that we have the main complaint about is Richard. This whole ordeal is unacceptable. read more

Was ready to purchase a dishwasher. Waited over 20 minutes with no assistance. They lost the sale and my business.

I was in your store to pick up an online order and the box was damaged. I requested another one and the other box was also damaged. I was in your store for more than an hour attempting to resolve this issue because the store doesn't have associates working during all store hours who are capable and empowered to handle all situations. They should not have to ask a customer to come back at another date or time when someone more capable is working. They should also know the policies and procedures that will eliminate customers making multiple trips to the store to receive a refund or discount. read more

I visited the store today, purchased an open storage unit 36" wide and 5 shelves high, Chad helped me in the tools area and was very helpful, was not a unit under the display, so he offered to sell me the display and I took it, he helped me load it although the unit was not heavy. The girl at check out in lumber area was very helpful, help me get a discount on the display unit, then when I got outside, a Lowe's employee stepped up and helped me load in my truck, I'm 80 years old and an army veteran, so the help was greatly appreciated read more

Was saving my 10 percent coupon to purchase my shed only to find out they won't take it for a shed. There excuse was they don't take it for labor. So if I purchase the shed and I don't have them install it I could use the coupon but since I'm having it installed I can't use the coupon, not even for just the materials. They wouldn't remove the labor portion and just take the coupon for the shed. Total ripoff. I will note this seems to be a policy issue and I'm not blaming the person I was working with. read more

Do not shop here. Ordered Washer and Dryer and expected it to come in on date they specified. Took time off work for nothing. Was not remorseful at all. Called to get replacement and sat on hold for over 30 minutes, hung up on once and finally was able to get something else ordered. Not sure why they couldn't have called me sooner about the dryer not being available and not the day before it was supposed to be delivered. I placed the order over 2 weeks ago. What would've been a 1 star review today turned into a 5 star because of Gilbert at the Burlington, NC, Lowe's! We are truly grateful for his great common sense and willingness to go above and beyond his call on our behalf - standing in the rain to help resolve our issue, and continuously letting us know that he didn't mind. We were sure he was in a high-level management position because of his intelligence and creativity - it was only when he picked the phone up to contact management on our behalf that we realized he wasn't the store manager. Employees like this make a difference in customer satisfaction and also in just simply making life easier for customers lives in general. Thanks Gilbert! We are grateful for your help. This has been the worse customer experience of my life and it is still and ongoing issue we ordered a fence to be installed it got delivered in May we waited two months for the install and then they send a crew with no poor workmanship and communication to do our fence they left the first day 3 hrs into the job at 12pm and never returned didn't even let us know they were leaving when they came back they started the job without even letting us know they were on our property when they came back the next day they did the same things didn't let us know they were there. they go to put up our gates and what do you know there are no gate pieces and the gates were messed up on top of that we had to call corporate they said the store manager would call me she never did so i had to go up to the store myself and find out well i spoke to someone and they said that they would reorder the gates and latches that was a month ago we get a call from the project Coordinator a couple days ago that our gates and latches was in and that the guys would be back out to put the gates up well guess what the guys show up to put up the gates and guess what he have yet again no gates or latches so we call the store and so did the guys who was suppose to complete the job which was the same ones i asked for them not to send out and they did any way and they were informed that they didn't know where our gates were and didn't have them.... so your telling me that the project coordinator called us for no reason just to waste time and air.......... $7,000 dollars for a fence and this is the customer service we just had to go to the store yesterday because there is no communication received i still want to know WHERE ARE OUR GATES read more

Trying to link my military ID so I could get my military discount and after 1.5 hrs at customer service they couldn't figure it out either and three people later and a manager that was incompetent as well I walked out of the store with nothing. This Lowe's store is great. We purchased a washer and dryer in January. The sales person was very knowledgeable, the guy who delivered them was fantastic - he came all by himself and we bought a front-loader (heavy!!). He was very careful and just did a great job. Yesterday, I purchased a chaise lounge for my patio (late afternoon) and they delivered it at 9 am this morning. Their personnel is always very helpful and I appreciate them so much!!! read more
