Lowe's delivery service is a sham. My mother wanted Lowes to deliver 15 bags of manure. So, she paid Lowes 40 bucks to deliver it, but Lowes gave the delivery to DoorDash. Effectively, making the DoorDash person deliver the manure in his tiny car. As verified by the delivery person, door dash didn't receive the 40 bucks to deliver the manure. Therefore, Lowes got 40 dollars for doing nothing! One thing is for sure; my mother will never have anything delivered from Lowes again. Since she felt guilty, she felt I had to pay the delivery driver 10 bucks in tips. My advice, never ever use Lowe's delivery service. read more

Reading some of the other reviews, I don't recognize the store they are talking about. But then a lot of the reviews are several years old, so maybe it's just things have improved. I can say they were hit hard on several levels during COVID. I wouldn't judge any store by their reviews during COVID. But I have rarely had problems with finding someone who won't drop everything to give me a hand. There are a couple employees who might be a little less than cordial on occasion, but they always do their job and I leave with what I need or an idea where to find it if they don't. Hands down worst experience. used Lowe's for years and I'll think twice about ever going back. Drive 2.5 hours for 4 appliances "ready to pickup today" and told they have NONE of them and couldn't even tell us what they did have. Instead of the $4k we would have spent we went elsewhere. We can however order them online because they are in fact IN this town just not at their store despite their site saying they were. I have a feeling they aren't in stock and that's a tactic to hold peoples money. This is why most consumers have stopped going into retail locations. Bought a UTV from Mariom at Lowes and we had to make 4 additional returns to the store because she had not completed any type of checklist. She said she would mail a local title to us, and I had to go back to get that because she didn't. She didn't tell us she needed to fill out a sales and use tax form. Bought a $2,000 Samsung stove from here less than 60 days ago, knob was kind of loose on it and it ended up having some type of electrical issue, it make a loud pop and smoke came out of the knob, I contacted Lowe's and they basically said "sorry, nothing we can do about it". Ok, here we go start to finish. So my girlfriend and I decided to purchase a washer, drier and refrigerator. We selected to go with the Lowes credit card option which we applied for on the spot. So far so good right. So a week later they asked my girlfriend why she did not pay. My girlfriend said it was on the Lowe's credit card, which it ended up not being. So delivery date was postponed another week. No big deal right ? The customer service here was less than informational. Ok 15 minutes prior to delivery we get a phone call saying washer and drier are on the way. Great ok....but...the refrigerator is not there. So we get a hold of a manager and it ends up being some problem so it will be a few more days. Again ok, no problem. Stuff happens right ? Delivery gets here and the service guys ask me for a tool. I am like nope do not have that. A few minutes later they ask me if they can turn off the water, I am like yup no problem. A few minutes later they said my pipes are really corroded....ok I understand its an old house with rental. A short time later we have another problem, the hot water pipe to the washer is leaking really bad....mmmm ok.....They leave and start the washer. A few minutes later no water in the house. They never turned the main back on. I call them and the directions they give did not solve the problem. Called a plumber to come fix what they have perhaps done. All in all. I will never, ever shop here again and neither will my girlfriend. We purchased these together, but it will be the last. What a joke. read more

I ordered Bali blinds for my windows on April 15th 2020. I was told in the store they would arrive direct delivery to my home in 10-14 days. After I did not receive them in the time frame, I called the 1-800 number and was told they would be shipped May 11th, 2020. Again I have not receive my blinds, I called the store that I ordered them from and was told the would be made June 4th , and sent out for delivery on June 11th. I cant not get my blinds in a timely manner but Lowes has had my $1000.00 for 6 weeks with me sitting here without my blinds. If I had the option of giving this place no stars, that would be my rating. I ordered on line for curbside pickup, was notified by email my order was ready, drove to the store and called and called and called and called the number that was posted for pickup. The phone rang and rang and rang and rang, but no one ever answered it for 30 minutes. Then looked up the corporate help number and called. The first person I spoke with told me to call the same number I had been calling. Thinking the rep may have notified the store to answer the phone, I called the number yet again. Setting a date for delivery service and than not saving it and giving the day away to someone else. I called and spoke with several different managers and all they do is apologize. I bought a riding lawn mower Sunday morning. Took 3 associates and 2 phone calls to get delivery set up for Tuesday. Told would get a confirmation call Monday on time if delivery on Tuesday. By 5:00 pm no call .I contacted store was told the delivery service would call after 6. No call by 8. Called store again . Was told my mower was in Loveland would be delivered on Wednesday. NO NO I was not told this at time of purchase. Had 2 models in store why am I getting one from Loveland. Response was he didn't know he didn't do transaction. Told gentleman that was BS. I bought a mower to be delivered on Tuesday. His reply yea yea .I informed him don't yea yea me . Associate said I could call Loveland store and find out where my mower was. Told him not my job, to find my mower, he could call, he then said he would call and let me know. While waiting for his call, I called another home improvement store in town. found mower. So at 9pm I'm on way to Lowe's same Associate called to inform me my mower was in Loveland and would be delivered Wednesday. Nope I'm on my way to get a refund. Lowe's is hit or miss on customer service before sale. After sale they have no customer service. read more

This Lowes has the worst customer service I may have seen anywhere. They canceled six deliveries this week, one of mine twice. I called five times to arrange or fix the deliveries. One girl in appliance answered without her name, but told me a manager just went into a meeting to fix my delivery and would call me right back. Three hours later a no call I took it upon myself to give him a ring. He decided to speak over me and gave me a new delivery date and time. On my delivery day I was called 15 minutes after the expected time and told they would be one or two hours late. They called 2.5 hours later to cancel. I called the manager and he explained he could do a week later. I decided I better just fix the problem and figure out how to move a washer and dryer on my own. I explained this to the manager and there was no remorse in response. I got to the store and picked up my stuff. Half way home I realized half my stuff was missing and had to turn around. Before doing that i called and talked to the manager. Just asking if maybe they put the items in the washer and dryer. The manger Al responded with "probably not, better turn around". Upon my arrival they were already picking my missed items for me...kudos. except they didn't have all the items I purchased, so I returned those. After swiping my card FOUR times, they finally figured out how to return my money. I was able to slowly type my review while all this was happening. A complete waste of two hours for me and I'm not even home yet. Please do not support this Lowe's and let them close their doors in Cheyenne. They are not needed. I have worse reviews on this place, if you are interested let me know. Lee and Al are doing an absolute hideous jib running this store. Thank you for wasting my time and money Lowe's! Staff were wearing masks mostly although one guy had it below his nose. The service was awful. We waited a long time to get help and one guy tried but didn't know anything about the area. I have ordered products from Lowe's online for pickup twice. The first time was a fiasco but since I generally like Lowe's back home on the East coast I thought I would give it a second shot. I arrived and there was a sign telling me to go to customer service I did this and waited for about 15 minutes before I was instructed to wait at the Internet pickup area and that someone would be with me shortly. I sat and I waited as the customer service employees proceeded to wait on over 10 customers that arrived after I had gone to the other area to wait. A lady then came and took down the sign and asked if I was being helped. She then proceeded to check me out during this time the customer service employee came over and was interrupted her numerous times to get help assisting a customer who only just arrived. I also wanted to purchase an item that was not on my original order but that showed online that it was in stock. This required me to go back to customer service with the lady whom had helped but the other employee continued to distract and interrupt her so she could assist other customers who had just walked in. I finally just left the additional items I was going to purchase and walked out. Going to Menards from now on. read more

I placed an order online. When I received an email stating my order was ready for pick up we drove 100 miles to pick it up. Once at the store the staff couldn't find my order of 16 6' by 8' privacy fence panels and posts. Thirty minutes or so after getting to the store my order was finally located. After waiting an additional thirty minutes I cancelled my order and went to Menards. They provided excellent customer service. read more

Bought a dishwasher in August of 2012, which Lowe's installed. Just this December we noticed a water stain in the middle of our cabinetry. Not only was it damp, but was warm to the touch as well. It clearly appears there is a steam leakage from inside the unit itself. Called Lowe's since they were the ones that installed it. Think I could get any help?...forget about it!! We were told that unless we bought the extended warranty, we were on our own! What about improper installation? What about customer service? All I can say is DON'T buy your major appliances here (we already made the mistake of buying a refrigerator and washer...never again!!)!! UPDATE: I wanted to update this post since things have a changed a bit. Actually, a lot. Although initially we receive no help from the local store or, interestingly enough, their corporate office, we were contacted by the store manager, Kevin. What a world of difference! The long and short of it is, they made good on the problem. No questions, no argument, and plenty of apologies for the prior problems! That is what I had expected in the first place. Everyone, and every business, makes mistakes. That's life. And although it took a little bit before it happened, Lowes made good on their mistake. You really can't ask for much more than that! Ordered a dryer from the Cheyenne Lowe's online. I needed the dryer quickly as my old one just gave out after 17 long years of service. Ordered a dryer that the site said was in stock and could be delivered within six days. Apparently the dryer I ordered was not in stock and so the entire order was kicked to the Loveland Lowe's which does not deliver to Cheyenne or inform customers of that fact. I never once received a call from either of these stores concerning my dryer that was constantly pending on my checking account for almost a month without any attempt to deliver (even though I waited around for eight hours on two seperate dates for a deliveries that never occured). Lowe's Loveland basically complained that they could not deliver while Lowe's Cheyenne was impossible to contact. When I was able to contact them, I was polite and explained the situation. Employees would transfer me to nowhere and eventually just hung up on me. Finally, cancelled the order and went to Home Depot. read more

Very disappointed in the service there these days. We used to always shop at Lowe's, but their front end is run terribly. We can spend up to 20 minutes in line without even moving. We've stood at the self checkout waiting for "assistance" and no one EVER came, until after we walked away, at which time an associate came over right away to void the transaction. Rarely can find associates on the floor to help find merchandise. I never leave negative reviews, this is literally my first, but my husband and I will definitely be taking our business to Home Depot. read more
