I stopped by this Lowe's while I was in the area, after going to Home Depot to check out their plant section and finding nothing. I just happened to check and see if there was any other plant places in the area and stumbled upon this Lowe's. I was on a mission this day specifically for new plants that I never owned before so I figured I'd check this location out. I love their plant section, it's very clean and robust. They have so many plant options that I really haven't seen anywhere else. I lucked up and found some really hard to find plants and this made my DAY! I was super happy!! The customer service here, wasn't that great, but I didn't care because I wa sin plant heaven lol. I've gone back a couple times and seem to find something new every time I go. Christmas at Lowe's! The decorations continue to increase every year. There is something for everyone who has a favorite decor for inside or outside. Between the selection and value you cannot go wrong at Lowes. For the first time I placed an order on line (yesterday) and picked it up today. Employee Veronica was rude and impolite. She refused to fulfill my pickup order, because her system said that the item (which I found in the store) was out of stock. Instead, she aggressively stated 'there's nothing [she] can do!" "You'll have to order it again." I frequent Lowes for all of my home repair and DYI projects partially because they have a great selection of everything you need and partially because they treat veterans well. Veterans have designated parking spots and they honor military by giving a military discount also, the cashiers always say "Thank you for your service!" The prices are great at Lowes in comparison to Home Depot , the shelves are always well stocked with whatever you're looking for, and there are workers available to assist if you're looking for something. I had to return some items and customer service was moving a little slow so a gentleman that was diligently putting stuff away came over to helped me. There were a lot of small pieces that needed to be returned and it was quite tedious but the customer service gentleman (Amari) was very patient and kind and accommodating. Purchased a toolbox online. Even though it states the Concord NC store has it in stock, after purchase I am told it will be 4 days before available. No rush. I waited 5 days and then I get an email stating it has been delayed. So after a couple more days, I go online and cancel the order. But after I cancel I realize I used 2 gift cards for partial payment. So I phoned this store on Friday May 23 2025 around 630pm. Customer Service picked up and hung up without a word. I called back. Happened 5 more times. Finally they answered the sixth attempt. I asked to speak with manager. Explained to the store manager the situation with the gift cards. He stated it shows they had mailed out another one to replace the used ones. But then surprised me when he told me they had 3 of those boxes in store at his location and could not understand why I had to wait for one to be shipped to his store. Then I explained the situation with the customer service rep and he wasnt suprised. So the following day I contacted the home office. They stated the money would be refunded onto the original gift cards. Luckily I still had them. Then I explained to her about the female customer service hanging up 5 times. Again, not much a surprise to her. As a Lowes card holders that spends a lot of money here, I expected more. Home Depot you up. I will bring all my business to you. read more

Do yourself a huge favor,...if you have a concrete slab foundation,.....DO NOT have these people do your floors! All the years in the business, they guess as to what is needed by sending crews from Service Pros, to do the installation. Not sure even they know what they're doing,......have been dealing with both for over 2 and a half years, trying to get our floors done right! So I grew a green thumb a few weeks ago and have started trying to grow some veggies from seed and I needed some items to help me along the way. I stopped by here around 9pm to pick up some bags of soil, seeds, and a grow light to help with my indoor planting. There wasn't alot of traffic in there given the time we had but I was able to find the things I needed fairly easily. I always use the Lowes website while I'm in the store because it tells me precisely what aisle and bay to check to find the items I need. I used the self check out and was in and out fast. read more

What sets this store apart is the fact that they have adequate amount of sales associates on staff to help. And [help] they do! Not with patronizing, surly attitudes either, but gladly... Home Depot employees are just not on this level of customer service. I was giddy with gratitude that I didn't need to traipse up and down the aisles of this huge store searching for someone to help. They also have self checkout - which I enjoy using, and it's faster. The parking situation is near to ideal. As you can see, I really explored this store today. It was a pleasure. read more

We got carpet installed on September 22nd. They damaged a $60 transition piece from 50Floors that we got installed only a year ago on September 22nd. We notified Lowes of the issue and they began their process of finding out what happened on October 3rd. I spoke with a manager at Service Pros about my 2 options to fix the broken piece mid-to-late October. Our options were to take a transition that is "close enough" to what we had originally, and service pros would install it; or get the piece that actually matches our hardwood floors, bit have to install it ourselves. They'd pay for the transition, bit we'd have to buy the tools and materials to make the fix ourselves, since we aren't in this business. Not to mention take time to look up how to do it and hope that it looked good enough when we did it. NOPE. Neither is acceptable. October 29th, I finally get to go-ahead to buy the transition piece from 50Floors myself (I'll get reimbursed next time I go to Lowes...$60 out of pocket right now), and then Lowes would pick up the piece and have Service Pros contact me to come and install. Talking with the assistant store manager last night (November 2nd) to try to get an update...he doesn't know what's going on even though he was CCd on the emails. Had to put me on hold to contact Service Pros to find out what was going on now. Turns out Service Pros doesn't like the idea of working with an unfamiliar brand, and wants to pay 50Floors to do the install. Hmm...and my husband and I were the ridiculous ones for not wanting to install it ourselves?? I have to go to Lowes today, November 3rd, to talk with either the manager or assistant manager in flooring to get my $60 back, and find out what he knows in this process, in case he got other info the assistant store manager didn't get last night. I. Am. Done. It's been over a month, no end in sight still. Do NOT go through Lowes for flooring. As for my husband and I, we won't be spending another dime here. We have felt though this entire process that we aren't worth their time or energy, since they already have our money for the initial install. Sure they have been mostly polite and say they care, but again, no end in sight still, and it's been difficult to get any update from either Lowes or the company they hire for installs, service pros, over the past month....their actions show they could not care less. I have no problem with Lowes products as a whole and I will say if within 30 days they put something on sale you have purchased they will price match. However I had a delivery done in the Greensboro area which was by Lowes 3rd party provider. They arrived within the time allowed however the "person in charge" went from speaking perfectly clear english to speaking spanish the minute I requested something he did not want to do. He did not listen to what I was asking nor what I advised as to entrance ways to come through to allow for the removal of old appliance and the bringing in of the new appliance. Before it was all done and over he called me a very foul name in his native tongue. What he did realize was that I knew what he was saying. I felt sorry for the younger man with him who was left to "translate" for me. I reported this issue to Lowes and their response, well it was NOTHING! it will certainly make me think twice before I make any further large ticket items from them in the future. read more

The Customer Service manager or supervisor whatever she is she was called over to help the associate at the return desk. She proceeded to stop and speak with someone casually as I was standing there holding a baby waiting. She finally turns around to help and within minutes tells me I need to visit the location I purchased from because they can't help me there. I asked her if she could call the other location to ensure they could help me before I drove over there. She answers a call on her PERSONAL cell phone. When she finishes her call she tells me, no and that I would need to call over there. Has the nerve to mention not being able to take returns without receipts as if I was missing my receipt. She was less than helpful, she didn't even try. I look forward to never visiting this location again. read more

I purchased a dryer and questioned everything possible about deliver, setup and haul off the old dryer. The delivery drivers arrived and asked if I had everything to hook it up, I said yes. One guy started to remove the dryer and asked where the accessories were. I said they are attached to the dryer. He said no, you must buy all new ones. I said I was never told that. He said sorry, we will not touch it. I said I paid for delivery and set up but was never told I needed to do anything else. He just stood there saying nothing. The other delivery guy walked up and said, and I quote "you gonna have to move this s**t out the way so we can get through" end quote. Referring to a small table. I said excuse me and he said it again. I said you have a bad attitude and he said so, and just get this out of the way we got other deliveries to make. I told them if that was the attitude they were going to have to just leave and refund me. They left the old dry in the middle of the floor, unhooked, did not say anything (until they got outside) and left the front door standing wide open. I walked downstairs to hear one of them say what a f**king dumbass! Rather than stoop to their level, I just closed the door and called the store and that was also a joke. They were no help saying there was nothing they could do, and I would have to call the delivery service. She gave me two numbers, and neither were working numbers. I called the customer service number and told them to cancel the delivery and to refund the full amount including the delivery. They said they would have someone call me within 24 hours to try and resolve this. I told them if I did not hear from someone with a full refund in 24 hours, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. Judging from their 1-star rating with the BBB it looks like Lowes would try to do a better job! I have already gone to another store and purchased a dryer at a lower price, and they include and install at no charge! read more

We are having absolutely the WORST customer experience with LOWES.com. We ordered a washer and dryer online on 9/7, which said to include delivery within 24 hours of ordering. Well after saying it would deliver in a week, they have delayed our order 11 times. We live in Harrisburg, NC, less than 10 miles from 3 different Lowes stores, but the washer and dryer are coming from a store more than 30 miles away in Lancaster, SC. We have gone to our local Lowes store but have received no help. All the appliance customer service representatives said was, "You shouldn't have ordered it online." We have called the Lancaster store several times, but we get put off to someone else, if someone even answers the phone. We get put on hold multiple times for more than 30 mins before even speaking with someone and they are still not able to help us. We kept getting bounced around to different departments where someone would 'say' they have our order worked out, only for our order to get delayed yet again by only receiving an order delay email. The W&D was supposed to deliver today, but we didn't receive it and heard nothing. ... We are at our wit's end and don't know what to do. Absolutely one of the worst customer experiences we have ever had, and we were huge Lowe's fans. read more

Bought a refrigerator and was in the schedule for delivery on Monday. No call no show! When I called, they transferred me to an answering machine and the message said they would call back the following day. I called back and the second guy said they didn't receive the refrigerator until Monday so they would deliver it now on Friday! I called bull shit and insisted they deliver it tomorrow or Tuesday. He said they didn't have any openings for Tuesday. I told him I didn't give a shit about his schedule as I've been sitting at home all day waiting for a refrigerator that THEY scheduled for delivery today, Monday! He told me not to talk to him like that and so I ask for his supervisor. When he came back on the phone they magically had my refrigerator set up for tomorrow. Go to HOME DEPOT! Ordered a new range and refrigerator over 3 weeks ago so we could have everything delivered the week that we were on vacation. Had the electrician linded up and remodeling guy there so everything would go well. Lowes delivered our range and they told me that they couldn't find the refrigerator told us to call customer service. Started calling at 9:30 am and was told they would call back and let us know what was going on. 9:10 PM HAVEN'T heard a word. So I guess even though we spent over 5 grand it doesn't matter if you have called all day to get an ANSWER and still HAVEN'T GOTTEN one yet. Well what can I say...I am a frequent shopper at Lowe's...And well most of the big box type home improvement stores. The environment has changed through the years. I suppose times are always changing so buckle your seat belt and enjoy the ride however not all changes are for the better and not all are welcomed. Gone are the days of Lowes being filled with knowledgeable employees courteous and attentive...sure some exist but few and far between. There are teoin this particular store-buy on days they smell likeliquor they tend to not be as helpful.I pride myself in being knowledgeable and not the stereotypical weekend warrior who paints his/her living room some new color of taupe and feels they've remodeled-and my resume shows this as I'm probably in Lowe's more than most gcs. That said I don't know everything-obviously- and so at times I do need some direction...this can NOT be had at Lowe's where the employees seem to be more into petting dogs that are now throughout the store...I mean-isn't this a home improvement store-not a pet store? No...I'm not talking about service dogs which are a necessity for some individuals I'm referring to "Chads" toy poodle puff dogs! But I digress...this isn't what made me go out of my way to leave a review...nope what made me sit in the parking lot for the last 5 minutes is I walked in 5 minutes before close and was met with attitude. Now I get it as I've worked a go nowhere job which I wanted nothing more than to leave as close to close as possible and cursed whoever came in...when I was 15...BUT all I was doing was returning an item. The cashier after throwing me tude-mind you we finished at 8:59...all but pushed me out of the store. I'm not asking or demanding specialized treatment for the fact I spend multiple hours and hundreds of dollars a week BUT I would like common decency...and being ushered from the store like cattle while people were still in the store and having employees come by and glare and said cashier even apologizing TO THEM for letting me in (before close) was completely insulting and unprofessional...So to those of you at Lowe's who may or may not read this...you should take a serious look at who you hire because in this age of non offending you managed to offend...no...not offend...anger a very loyal customer who will be there still buying tools when HGTV and taupe are a thing long forgotten...I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Only so many paints and closet organiyou can sell Chad... UPDATE...now this could be a coincidence...but funny as right after this review my credit limit on Lowe's card was dropped by $12,500...very-VERY odd coincidence. read more

This Lowes has their stuff together. I have been in here several times, each time the experience has been enjoyable with no problems at all. What I really like is that there are employees walking around at all times so that If you have a question or need helping finding something they're on it. I had them cut a few boards of wood for me without any problems at all. Had to return some things once, very fast returns. The cashiers are always very friendly and its easy to pop in get what you need and go. I haven't encountered big long lines of people because they always have a lot of cashiers on duty. The store is very clean and the location is easy to get in and out of. 5 stars for me. read more

If you need a dishwasher and need to have it installed don't order from this Lowes. Ordered on 7/8, was told it would be in that week and no later than that Fri. It arrived that Mon 7/16. I was told the installers have 48hrs to get in touch with me to schedule a time. No call from anyone 48hrs later, no call 72hrs later. I called Lowes after 48hrs and was told by the associated they would call the installer and I would be contacted that day or next morning and got the same run around every time I called and/or went in person. Finally 3 weeks later I went in to cancel. They asked if there was anything they could do and I said yes, have it installed by this evening and I received chuckle. I despise shopping at this Lowe's! The staff have perfected the art of looking right through you - rarely smiling or greeting you or - heaven forbid - asking if you need help. The young lady at the Customer Service Desk should definitely not be in Customer Service! She ignores customers waiting in line while on the phone for whatever reason. At least acknowledge your customers and apologize for the wait. I could name her, but I won't and hope management will train their staff better if they read this. I find clusters of employees in various locations chatting up a storm while I am outside waiting for someone to exchange my propane tank for me! My least favorite Lowe's close to home. If you need a new deck on for your home don't order the materials from Lowe's and don't pay for an installer. My husband and I ordered materials and a paid Lowe's to have a new deck installed on 11/2017, and per our contract it was to be completed by 12/2017. As of today all we have is one big mess in our driveway and back yard. The installer from Lowe's started installing the deck and did not get a permit. The installer from Lowe's took 16 bags of cement from our driveway with out our permission; I call that stealing. Since the deck was not been completed the materials were scattered in the backyard by the installers. Some of the boards that are suppose to go on the deck were thrown into my flowerbed and other materials were stacked on top of them and the boards are now warped and bent as it is composite boards. The rest of the cement that we purchased has set in the rain until it has harden and started busting the bags open causing even a bigger mess in the driveway. Also, Ed that specked the deck and informed us on what materials to order; specked out 85 bags of cement for the deck. So I have 69 bags of cement that has set in my driveway since 03/2018, the day it was delivered, getting wet each time it rained. I have requested to Robert Niblock, the CEO of Lowe's to have our money refunded and have all materials picked up and have the dumpster removed from our driveway so we can find someone that knows how to install a deck and know that they need to get a permit before they start building in Fayette County. read more

This has been the worst experience in home improvements ever. I have purchased Laminate flooring and they're Sub Contractor "Service Pros" has been out to my home three time to attempt to correct they're problems. Lowe's managers were taken pictures of the various issues including one where they actually have left my Pedestal Sink base separated from the wall unit and it has been well over a month and it " STILL NOT CORRECTED! " This job alone was $4,400. and some change. Then wait for it.... yes $3800. On Granite and on installation there they ended up literally damaging one of my corner cabinets either by setting the under mounted sink or laying the corner piece of Granite. In either event, They have not contacted me to resolve these issues while I have been in there several times. To top that off the statement I received has several errors not to mention two sets of counter tops and no flooring?? Dangerous DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HARD EARNED INCOME!! read more

I have sent the following letter to the Concord Lowes Store. Please be careful when ordering installation services. Dear Lowes, I am extremely disappointed in your installation services. On Wednesday November 15 my garage door opener of 17 years finally gave up. I knew I would be purchasing a new one from Lowes as your products have not let me down yet (although my handy man says not to get lumber there any more). I called my local store and spoke with a lady in mill works. I knew which opener I was going to purchase but I had questions about installation since my handy man has never installed one. I was told that once purchased, the installer usually calls within 24-48 hours and installation is usually complete within a week. As this was the week before Thanksgiving, and I would be at home the full week of the holiday, this sounded perfect for my needs. I arrived at store 0697 (Concord, NC) that evening, paid and took possession of the garage door opener. Now to wait for the call from the installers. When Tuesday November 22 rolled around, and I had heard nothing from any party concerning my install, I called the 877-GO-LOWES number to inquire. I was told at that time; the store had forgotten to email the installer. The store would send the email immediately and I should hear something within an hour. On Friday November 24, after still not hearing anything from any party, I called the store again and spoke to the associate in mill works. I was told at this time, that the information was sent but no one was working during the week and I would not be getting a call until Monday the 27th. I told the associate I was not pleased with this turn of events and if I did not hear adequate information on Monday, I would be cancelling my service. On Monday I received a call from an installer about noon. She was very apologetic and said she did not know why it took so long to get my information. I explained to her the information given to me by Lowes associates and the fact I was at home last week. She told me that she could have competed the install last week had she received the paperwork. As I am now back at work and will not be at the house, she was kind enough to set up the install for night-time to get it complete since I had waited so long. The Lowes mill works associate called me soon after this exchange to make sure I heard from the installer. She said, "What else can I do for you?" I told her that Lowes should install this for free since someone obviously did not follow procedures and I am now 2 weeks out from when I purchased the items. She laughed. I did not. She said she could not make that decision. Personally, I believe if you took the cost of the install out of that associates paycheck, they would not make that mistake again. If I waited 2 weeks to deliver to one of my customers, I would be fired, not reprimanded not talked to, fired. I hear from others that Lowes has been managed poorly of late and I will not be telling anyone I know to use this service. read more

The reason for my visit to the store was to purchase a washer and dryer for my mother. This was the second location we had been to in one hour, at the first location no one offered to assist us and the associates just stood there having a friendly conversation, not working with any other guest and they obviously didn't want to. So we left and tried this location. We already knew what we wanted to purchase. So we head back to the appliances and we spend a few minutes locating the one we want. There is one associate there and he is working with a guest. A few minutes later another man comes into the section and goes behind the counter not obviously helping anyone. At this point no one has talked to us or offered assistance. A few minutes go by and we approach him. His name was Mitchell. We tell Mitchell what we want and he takes down the model numbers. He was nice but not well informed. So he is back behind the counter looking up what we want and I asked about the financing options. Well the other man there, Rodney, that was with the guest previously mentioned, had to assist Mitchell with this knowledge. From the start Rodney came off as rude, even the way he talked to Mitchell, like he had better things he could be doing. We informed them that we wanted the LG sidekick, a mini washer pedestal to go under your normal washer, and Rodney got an arrogant tone and then proceeded to say "You was this?" And then led us to the display to show us what we already knew we wanted, hinting that we were crazy for wanting it. My mother asked him the price for it and said at the previous Lowes she had been the the LG representative said it was marked way down and she got a lower price at JcPenny's too. When Rodney searched he did not find a lower price and did not offer to check or do anything to sort out the issue. My mother said that we would try JcPenny's then and Rodney, with a very sarcastic tone said "Go to Penny's my friend *blank* will hook you up." I thanked Mitchell and we left. That was the second time we have been treated like nothing by 3 different Lowe's associates within one hour. If this is what there customer service is based on I don't think I'll ever be back. We ended up going to JcPenny's and we got the best deal with the best customer service I've seen in a long time. read more
