Usually my experience with Lowes is good and they are awesome but I just went through an ordeal that has tainted their reputation in my eyes. I ordered two appliances on sales from their online 4th of July promotion whereby they were offering the special order appliances 50% off! So, I ordered them on July 3rd. I didn't get the range delivered until September 28th and the above-range microwave was not delivered as it was reported as "damaged" by the delivery people. Well, they still charged me for the microwave, didn't order a replacement, and now they are telling me they can't get or order a new one at the price I ordered and paid for even though they still sell the very same model. I talked patiently to their corporate customer service and the best they would do is give me 20% discount on the new priced same item. To make things super awesome, they changed the order to make it look like I picked the item up in-store so they could issue a refund? So now I'm stuck with a range in a special-order color I didn't specifically want to save some money and am expected to either accept the new higher price, choose a different color, or try and fight to get what I paid for. read more

Ordered 2 items for next day delivery, driver mixed up my order with another. According to Lowe's customer service, it is now my problem not theirs. East side store customer service even called multiple times since they knew the wrong item was dropped off while I was not home. Despite claiming the driver would return with the correct item, after a week no driver showed up. Customer service now says the mixup was responsibility of the delivery service not Lowe's. Where on Lowe's delivery screen does it state Lowe's bears no responsibility for delivery? Never buy anything for delivery from Lowe's, and think twice about doing business with them at all with this attitude. read more

I would give a zero if I could. Crooked sale person told my wife what a great deal progressive leasing was when she was going to pay for a grill outright everyone does it I doubt it. Was setup to pay about 2400 dollars for a 1000 dollar purchase not even sure how it is legal worse than rent a center imagine. Luckily we can pay off in 3 months that we will do since have money for it. The Lowes did not explain loan or anything just had her pay a 63 dollar payment that would be 180 for the next year if not paid off in 3 months. Sounds like Lowes is crooked even setting anyone up for this type of loan ! If the sales person told my wife this awful deal and it's not the usual 35 to 40 percent loan zero percent chance takes it at least paying off early ! If I had not called a found out 180 dollar payment was coming out for two months would have been stuck paying 2400 dollars for about a 1000 dollar purchase ! read more

Went in to this store (East side Evansville, IN) looking for a specific product that was listed on their app and website. They didn't have it anywhere in the store, even though their app said that 35 were available at that store. The only help I got was an employee trying to sell me a Kobalt brand tool for 550% the cost of the item I was searching for. This was a second try after getting the same runaround at the Henderson, KY store a few days prior to this visit. The item was a LuxPro 12500 Lumens Rechargeable LED Flashlight. read more

Bad customer service. Bad product....I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator, thought it was a good brand name. However, less than 9 months, it completely quits. It was less than a year, so I thought they would honor their products. I got no help and no replacement.... poor service. It was still under warranty, but not the store's warranty, so I was told that they couldn't do anything to help. read more

I am writing this review because of Megs! She is a great associate and person to deal with at customer service. I made a purchase for a shower head back in Jan. 2025 and returned that one some time in Feb. 2025 and literally the shower head broke off within the last couple of days before found out I could return it. When I got there, there was an older gent who immediately proceeded to tell me that I couldn't return it till I cited the return plolicy being 90 days and I was well within that window to do so. He refused to help so I asked for a manager and he begrungenly called for one. That is when Megs came up to assist. At first we got off on the wrong foot (totaly my fault) with the receipt mixup since the one I pulled out was the one I purchased in Jan and had returned that one in Feb. purchasing a new one. But she was so kind and nice as to even look up that receipt and still handle my return. I believe this is going well above and beyond and speaks volumes to the fact that Customer Service isn't a lost art form. I work for Old National Bank and I deal customer service in the same fashion, treating my clients like I am on that side of the desk and providing exception service even if it means I have to have a hard conversation (meaning we can't do something). Can I give less than 1 star? My wife and I were trying to find a decent brad nailer and after talking to FIVE DIFFERENT PEOPLE and all of them telling us "It's not my department.." AND THEM WALKING AWAY..We said nope, we're going to Home Depot...if you can't treat your customers decently, I will never go back, and I usually spend 500-750$ per visit. read more

Worst customer service. The appliance department is slower than molasses. 9 people waiting and the department employee decides to work on a customers store application. She could have answered other customers questions while the customer fills out the application. Waste of time management, waste of all of the other customers time, including mine. Worst customer service ever. One would think a major retailer with a website could function well enough to allow the customer to place a simple online order. No. So... call customer service. The agent had the same issues and after an hour and half with the agent the order was placed. Lowes charged my card - "placed a hold" on same day. I had an online order, they waited until the day it was supposed to be delivered to inform me they were out of stock. When I called, the associate was very matter of the fact and didn't seem to give a shit. When I attempt to ask about the possibility of getting a future order he seemed uninterested and offered no information and no apology. read more

My wife and I were just at Lowe's Evansville Eastside for a couple things 4 garden plants and a pot. The plants were all wilted and a lot were dead. I told a guy that said he was a manager as we were leaving he said there wasn't much he could do. Upon arriving home I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes it appears nobody in the Lowe's organization gives a damn. The problem is they don't own the plants they are on consignment. Lowe's was a good company what went wrong with their management? We the customers should demand better because ultimately we all pay the price for miss management. read more

We ordered a dishwasher for Mother's Day on May 3rd. We paid for it the same day and was told it would be ready for us on May 17th. They were out of stock. They explained they would call when it was ready for pick up. May 17th came and went WITHOUT a call. We have called multiple to see if it was ready, NOT READY. They said they would call... again NO CALL. Here we are today June 9th. I called again and they explained they have it in stock and it's been in stock for OVER A MONTH. I am in Lowe's to pick up the dishwasher finally and guess what.... NO HELP. I have check in at Customer Service and she told me to go back to appliances. I've been in appliances for over 45 minutes waiting for assistance. Finally a worker said she would help get the dishwasher we paid for almost a month ago after she is done getting someone else's who purchased that day. We have been long time business and personal customers of Lowe's, but today will be the last day I will ever be here again. read more

Find somewhere else to shop quick...I mistakenly walked off without one of my bags. I called quickly and told them what happened. I told them that I lived over an hour away and wouldn't make it for a few weeks. They said no problem and that my stuff would be put back for me with my name on it. When I went to pick it up they had put it all back in stock and refused to give it to me...since my receipt was in the bag. Waylon the manager was awesome!!! I was helped by a man in the tools department. I believe his name is Dale. I had an ambitious (maybe too ambitious) project I was trying to finish and had no idea what I was doing. He was so helpful and told me everything I needed to know about the best tools for the job. He even made me laugh! Would definitely recommend heading to the tools section and asking for Dale (I think that's his name) if you have any tool questions. I'll definitely be back! read more

While I visit Lowes quite often, I had a unique shopping experience last night. After eating at a local favorite (refer to my review of Acropolis), I was slightly bleezed. Nothing can improve upon domades, but a nice cold porter (or eight) just adds a little something. Regardless, by the time we got to Lowes, I was heavily dependent upon the shopping cart to make it through the place. Needless to say, I somehow got super interested in paint samples (you know the swatch cards?), and ended up with about 75 of them. All the pretty colors. I also accidentally set off the first alarm of the evening while trying to find the bathroom. I set off a second alarm when leaving - I accidentally tried to leave through the emergency exit. According to my daughter, I took a 20 minute nap, standing but slumped over the cart, while perusing the paint cards. Anyway, the staff was very kind, patiently helping me along, and not calling the cops. Not calling the cops is always worthy of a five star rating, right?! read more

Definitely will never buy flooring here again. After installers spent well over a hour checking out my approximately 500 sq ft floor installation before showing up to do the work they then showed up, ripped out my perfectly fine carpet and then said 'we can't install your laminate'. Your floor is not perfectly level. 1 1/2 weeks before Christmas they said there was nothing they could do and even if I ordered new carpet they were booked until January and they left. Called lowes and they defended these so called floor installers. Have had 2 reputable flooring companies out to look and the floor was 1/16th of an inch off in a small section and can be easily resolved!! Never use lowes or LC installions for your flooring needs. And instead of moving my Christmas tree a couple of feet one way or another they pulled it apart in the middle and moved it thru a doorway into another room bending the top of it and removing ornaments. Had to redo that and have no flooring for over a month! Totally unacceptable. Lowes then attempted to charge me for the floor removal! read more
