We were delivered a toilet broken in the box, and tried to call to find out our options. We called, and were put on hold and ignored for over 30 minutes- long enough to drive to the store, go to the customer service counter to find three workers standing around with their thumbs up their bums having a great personal conversation and ignoring my still ringing call. When asked, two scrammed, and one rolled her eyes, huffed and just walked away from us. We finally got a manager to handle our original problem, but 30+ minutes on hold and being dismissed when confronted - what has happened to customer service ? Skibo Lowes Last 6 of Delivery # 108101 If I could give the store a ZERO I would. 21 hours have passed and still no delivery which was supposed to be same day yesterday and I paid for that. This post was supposed to be aimed at Lowes Corporates decision to use a new "Uber" type delivery system but Tim the Manager managed to turn this into his stores issue. TIM- unhelpful snarky condescending manager nearly impossible to speak with and threatened to hang up on me when I stated that i may be feeling hostile. My feelings. States that deliveries are now "Uber"!like and he does NOT know when materials leave his store and wouldn't call me to notify materials were not picked up because he simply doesn't know things. WARREN- still waiting on his call today to which yesterday he said he would call at 9am today with update on where my materials ($1000) are. Had a decent conversation him last night around 630pm. Note that he sounded as if he was going to help me but I've lost all faith in that due to TIM. Warren as of last night was willing to knock off a few hundred $ from order. Hoping this still happens. PAINT mgr 0845 on 24 April - on point! Awesome guy, helpful, efficient. Give him Tims position. ONE RAIL- this is the "Uber" per Tim that they use for delivery. I have contacted them. They have no input as to why they didn't pickup or deliver yesterday or even as of now 1025am Wednesday. I paid $150 for a same day delivery that didn't happen. Dispatch said someone would be enroute today to handle this delivery. This is costing me hundreds of dollars plus no future work with my client which is in the thousands of dollars. It is up on top so I need an associates help so I ask as I walk in if I can get some help on aisle 33 20 minutes later I ask another associate Still nothing I ended up asking a total of four associates only one made an announcement over the intercom but still no luck an hour and 25 minutes later I'm driving to Lowe's off of Raeford. Most of the time I can get in and get out fast. There are a few times in garden where the cashier is very very slow and you need to have someone who is fast there since it's such a busy area. I went to but a fence and have it installed. Lowe's prides themselves on using quality contractors. my first issue was having the materials delivered. They gave me four different delivery dates and once I finally got the material and the installers were supposed to come and install the fence two days max well it's been seven days and my fence is still not completed. The company left trash in my yard so much trash I had to pay someone else to remove it when I called Lowe's to complain. Their only concern was extra material. I was very hesitant on using them in the first place. I don't shop at Lowe's very often and I will it will be even less. read more

Stopped in to shop for new flooring and bathroom vanity for a complete bathroom remodel project. I usually haven't had good luck at the Skibo Rd. Lowe's location but this trip was pretty good. The woman in the kitchen and bath area was super helpful in locating the vanity I was looking for. The flooring Section not as much luck with getting assistance, another employee that wasn't in that section paged someone and after 20 minutes still no one showed up. Ended up finding what I needed ( not in the location indicated on the app) overall though satisfied customer this time. read more

This place is the worst Lowes I have ever been to. Inventory on the app is always wrong or employees are too lazy to even look. Weekends it is also impossible to find an employee to ask a question. Never stocked, has become the Dollar General of home improvement stores in the fact they just leave merchandise on pallets in the middle of aisles. You have to help yourself find things as most of the employees seem to only have been working there for a few minutes. Management is overworked and understaffed, so the needs of the customer are on the back burner. I tried to stay a loyal customer, but will not be returning. Home Depot offers price match and discounts, as well as having better stock and more knowledgeable employees. Never come here for Key Duplication! Waited for about 10 minutes to get somebody to help me and tell me I have to "wait a while" because he was helping somebody else, when he (the same person that was assigned for key duplication) already passed by 2 times and has seen me waiting. He could have told me the first time, and I was observing him, he helped 2 other person before he got to me. I had to wait for a total of 20 minutes until he was ready to help me. Asked him what the hold up was, and he gave me an attitude that he had to help a person before me. Ended up getting frustrated and walked away. I have absolutely had it with the low class employees they hire at this location. I was looking for someone in plumbing and asked an employee with the Lowes vest on if anyone is in this department. He was kind enough to ask someone in paint as he seemed new and was unsure. He came back to me and told me that "she" was going to page someone for me. I saw her continue to stock some shelves. I waited 5 mins and yet she was still there and there was no page. She disappeared so I went to the aisle she was in and saw her by the paint desk. I approached her and asked if she was going to page someone like she said she would. She kept on helping other people who got there after me. Nishia, if you have no intention of customer service then don't tell an employee to tell a customer you will page someone. There are too many employees like Nishia who are just looking to do the minimum amount to get paid. I often wonder what people have been doing who have been there for years and can't even direct you to something. Talk about doing a whole lot of nothing. So we have the lazy rude type like Nishia and the self service stations now. I don't need this behavior. A hardware store that is known for customer service just opened near me. Went in this afternoon to buy some black pipe and fittings for a furniture project. Husband and I were sorting out the various pieces needed, difficult because people tend to put things back in the wrong place so you have to check each piece to ensure it is the correct one. Down on hands and knees trying to pull back stock forward on low shelves. Approached by EXTREMELY rude sales person named Wayne who, instead of offering assistance, chastised us for pulling some empty boxes out to get to the stock behind and then went so far as to say "you are going to put everything back right? WHERE it goes right?" We explained that we were sorting through TRYING to find what we needed but that it was difficult due to the ALREADY jumbled stock. He just stood there and stared for about 2 solid minutes and the left. Honestly, so irritated by his behavior...hope a manager sees this and reaches out. I visited lowe's and tried to purchase a Riding Lawnmower using Progressive leasing. The associates at the store had no idea how to complete the transaction. The Lowe's on Ramsey St In Fayetteville NC has the worst customer service I've seen In a long time. I have a bathroom vanity cabinet that was damaged when I opened it this evening. I wanted them to open the one they had in stock to make sure it wasn't damaged before I drove almost 40 miles each way to get it. I've tried to call them 3 times this evening. It took them over 2 minutes to answer the phone at customer service. After someone finally did answer the phone They said they couldn't open it in the store without manager approval. I then tried to talk to a manager. After 2 more attempts and being hung up on by both him and customer service. I finally gave up. I'll be going to the one in Hope Mills tomorrow. One of the only Lowe's left where they seem like they still want to help someone. Don't waste your time or money going to the Ramsey St Lowe's location. I will NEVER do business with LOWES again. My husband and I just purchased a home. The carpet needed to be replace which we agreed once we purchased. Thinking Lowes was the best place to go, we realized it was a terrible decision. Day 2 of receiving keys to house we went to Lowes. Did not want to move in unless carpet was replaced. Once we chose the carpet we wanted, we had to search for someone to help us. She assisted But we had to wait a week for someone to come out just to do measurements. Waited another week for someone to contact us about the quote of the work. During that call with the quote, we were told that the carpet we choose was in stock so we paid. After we paid we were told that we will get a call to schedule the installation. NEVER happened! Once they got our money, all communication was lost. After a few days, we tried calling multiple times and either no one picks up the phone call in the flooring section or we list get transferred to where no one picks up. Even asked for the manager and no help! He was clueless and didn't care to find out. We had to physically go up there to actually talk to someone to get answers. When we demanded answers, we get told that all the carpet was not in stock and it was another two weeks before a shipment was in. So we were basically LIED to when it was time to pay after we were told that it was initially in stock! So why couldn't anyone contact us about this?? Easy to call for the money but went ghost once paid! The floor rep finally came to the conclusion that another Lowes had the exact carpet in stock where they can request to get the rest. However their team couldn't pick it up for another few days. Like what?! We couldn't even get a scheduled day of installation without the actual carpet company who come to install the carpet see it in the system that all carpet is all in stock at Lowes. And guess what? That was another week to wait for the actual install once the carpet company finally reached out. Working with Lowes was the worst experience. Lack of communication and work efficiency! They delayed my family and I moving into our new home by weeks because of their carelessness and lack of organization. Sooo if you need carpet replaced, DONT use LOWES!!
