Overall, I was happy with the seating pieces of an outdoor patio set I recently purchased, but the damaged fire table that came with it was obviously returned, repackaged and resold. The metal top was dented and bent, which customer service blamed on the carrier company, after asking me to email pictures of the damaged item to customer service, which I did. BTW-The box was in good shape when it arrived. The fact that the fire pit table was previously used was NOT addressed and was obviously NOT a shipping issue, yet I still couldn't get a replacement. (I know it was returned and resold because the area that holds the lava rock was obviously dirty and lava rock dust was packed into the screws near the fire area.) I asked for a replacement top to be shipped or a portion of my purchase price be refunded or credited to my BB&B account. I was told I had to return the whole table as a replacement part was not an option. I agreed to a full replacement of the table but was then told that the item was out of stock and a replacement was not an option. Keep the set w/ the damaged piece or a refund, IF they see fit once I ship the large damaged item back. No thanks- I'll keep it and tell everyone who sees it, how BB&B wouldn't credit my account for the $200 damaged piece they resold to me. BTW - the whole outdoor patio set cost $1,400. read more

I stopped in to pick up one item. Looked around the store to find it and could not find anyone to help me. I finally found it and waited in the checkout line maze for about 10 minutes. There were 3 lines open. At the time I was to be next one of the check out attendants closed her station looked at me and walked off. She moseyed her way over to the service desk and started playing with a stapler. I looked at the cart in front of me and saw what looked to be 50 or more small items. The associates up front were extremely helpful. I was hunting down a cart when I first entered the store and one of the cashiers offered to go get me one. As I was browsing, several associates stopped to ask me if I was finding everything that I was looking for. Perhaps the only complaint would have to be that the store seems a bit crowded. A very serviceable and friendly BBB, and that's tough to find in most places esp retail. While it's a small search to find an associate, it wasn't too much of a hassle to pop over to the customer service area where another associate gladly led us to our item. Another Yelper mentioned it's a little on space and they're right. It's a fairly small store for a BBB but the amount of product they have in stock is comparable to it's larger, per square foot, stores. Protip: BBB price matches similar large retailers like Amazon (Amazon Prime, not the smaller third party resellers) so compare prices before buying, say that coffee maker, for retail. Add on that 20% coupon you can get on their website, and BBB becomes a more affordable place to shop in. read more

Went in here today looking for some new sheets. Happy that I found 800 count white and pattern sets. Bought 2 sheet set, cover, blanket pillow shams and four pillows. All for 240.00. Good deal with a discount and coupon. Store was ultra clean and in grateful shap. Loved it. read more

I am traditionally not a huge fan of BBB but the store in Fayetteville should be used as a model for ALL other retailers in this city. The expectations of anyone who has lived in this town for awhile is that all public interactions will usually be less than pleasant, whether it be a grocery store, retailer, restaurant or bar/grill - let's be honest - this city has the worst customer service or public relations of any town in America. NOT TRUE of BBB - they are truly awesome. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly (unheard of in Fayetteville) and attentive. Five stars is well deserved!!! read more

I don't particularly love the set up that all the B&B's have. But this one was a little less obnoxious. The real 4 stars goes to the manager that helped us find curtains. I hate curtain shopping but this guy was super helpful and so was the sales associate who paged the manager for us. After going home and seeing that there was a tear in one of the curtains we went back and we had a hassle free experience returning it as well. read more

As a person with a pre existing disease I try to limit my outside interactions, thus I needed a new tooth brush. I place the order online and wanted it to ship to me. The latest possible time of arrival was suppose to be the 26th (today) my order has not even been sent out yet as of today. I do a chat with them to see what is the issue their excuse was their shipper is having issues and is backed up. So you knew this as a company but yet still allowed me to order without any warnings. Nor did you reach out just as basic humans to inform me they are having shipping issues. They just took my money and basically did not care if I get my order or not... their attitude was nonchalant. So I asked why can't you just set me up to pick up my items at my local store. Their reply was they can not change an order delivery method once it has been complete. But how can it be complete when it's never left the warehouse. But again they act like it's just my problem either I can get a refund that could take 3 to 5 days or they can sent out another which would take 3 to 5 days. But again that would go back to the whole reason of the chat my order did not come and has nothing left the warehouse. So it's not going to be 3 to 5 days. They don't apologize for the inconvenience, that don't offer useful solutions when something is their fault. No wonder their are closing and downsizing, with customer service policies like that in a Covid and post Covid market place there really is not reason to use them. It's not cheaper most time it's more expensive, they will not work to fix their errors nor do they offer solutions to remedy the issue quickly. Horrible is the word for them! read more

Make sure you count your k-cups when you buy them because I went in there and bought k cups and was short one in my box when I called they just wanted me to come all the way back to the store in order to just exchange my box for another with no compensation read more

I had to make a return yesterday and could not locate my receipt. I had a feeling I would be issued a store credit and I was ok with that because I shop at BBB a lot. Well at this location I was informed that since I didn't have a receipt they would have to deduct 20% from each of the items that I was returning. I had no choice since I can not locate my receipt but I seriously doubt I will be shopping at this location again ! So make sure you hold onto your receipts this cost me almost $20.00 Over all the store is very nice and the staff on the floor is very helpful. I wish I could remember the young ladies name that waited on me when I made this purchase a few weeks ago. She was awesome and went out of her way to help me. looking up items on the computer for me very polite and friendly. the retail world needs more employees like her ! read more
