I'm sorry to say but this store has gone down hill on customer services . Waited 45 minutes after asking for help

I've always been a Home Depot person, but over the past year I've shifted more toward Lowe's and have spent a lot of money here as a professional contractor. Recently, I was in the appliance section and asked which dishwashers were available to take home that day. An employee pointed me toward several models, and I spotted a Bosch--one I've always wanted--on clearance. A gentleman and a lady both told me I could "probably" buy that one and went to check. A few minutes later, I was told no--they wouldn't sell the floor model, and it wasn't available to order online. I pulled up Lowe's own website right there, and sure enough, the exact same model was available for online purchase--it's even in my cart right now. I don't appreciate being lied to, and I especially don't appreciate being denied the chance to buy a clearance item that's clearly still here just because they don't want to go through the hassle of replacing the display. read more

Ordered a fridge. First installation attempt they damaged my floor & the fridge & left it in my dining room. Second attempt they got it to the kitchen and didn't install it, just plugged it in. Damaged my wall. They said they couldn't hook up the water dispenser because I didn't purchase the ice maker kit. They don't offer the ice maker kit. Customer service was profoundly unhelpful. I am currently on permanent hold from customer service because I made the mistake of telling the rep I was going to negatively rate the call. Now they're not going to even let me review their customer service because it was so bad. Will never buy an appliance or anything else here ever again. read more

Worst store ever.... They call and schedule deliveries, then no call no show. If as an employee they would fire people for that, yet they do it to customers and think it's ok, especially when you have people to work with materials that are being delivered. read more

Generally good selection. Prices are pretty much in line with other big box hardware stores. One associate asked if I was finding what I needed. When I said mostly, he walked on without inquiring what I wasn't finding. On checking out, the cashier was going through his wallet. He put stuff back in it when I laid my items on the counter, then put his wallet in his pocket. He scanned the items with the hand held device, took my money, and turned away. He didn't ask if I wanted a bag. Maybe he was having a bad day. read more

There is great customer service dealing with associates in the store. If you purchase an appliance and expect it to be delivered please do not get your hopes up. I have been told four times that my product is missing; we can't find it. The delivery service is contracted out. They don't call you ahead of time, and they don't deliver. When I called the store about this situation they were very unconcerned and the tone was oh well. Let's try to set up another delivery date, and if they don't show this time, we will compensate you. I am very disappointed and will never purchase appliances there again. read more

Today October 17,2018 l, i experienced the worst service ever. We purchased a gas fire pit that was located on the second to the top shelf. There were 3 guys standing around. I asked for assistance and their response was "that's not our job". Anyway so I found a nice lady who helped me find a cart that we could use and then she left. So here we are 2 females trying to get help to pull a 100lb firepit off the shelf without any assistance at all. The guys and the girl were just hanging out by the Christmas decor (same area as fire pit) laughing and doing NOTHING AT ALL!!! Long story short I hurt my arm pulling that darn fire pit to the cart. I WILL NOT SHOP THERE AGAIN!!!! and yes I did tell the cashier who was sweet enough to explain how to do the survey. read more

I recently purchased new window treatment for my apartment. I was fortunate enough to have Hasan help me with my purchase. He seemed to be covering three different areas the night I was there. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and apologetic for any wait. He cut the blinds to the exact width and still kept his eye on the other two departments. He is a great asset to this store. read more

They rarely answer phone, if they do, they transfer or hang up on you. No one seems to know what they are doing. I was trying to do a return on a large item ,22 packs of shingles. I ended up going to the store, and setting a pick up only for them to be no call no show. Trying to get in touch with them again and its the same thing, no one answers, or if they do they transfer me or hang up. read more

I have now had to change my Lowes review from a positive to a negative. The customer service at the customer service desk is suffering terribly. I was embarrassed.... humiliated by an employee there on my last visit. And to add injury to the insult..... she told my business to other employees and there was no reason for that to be necessary. My house is going under complete renovation.... and Lowes will not be getting my business. Very disappointed in the customer service desk. read more

We ordered a new stove and microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. When the gentleman delivered our items my husband asked if he would take the box the dishwasher came in. The deliverer responded should I clean up your mess? My husband said you just delivered it. The deliverer repeated should I clean up your mess. He left with an attitude. We called Lowe's but never received a response after that. read more

They have good customer service and not everything is more expensive than home depot. They carry a lot of different brands so if you're particular about style I'd go here and to home depot right next door to compare. Just like home depot you can usually find more brands and better prices online so if you're trying to save money shop online and have it delivered to store. read more

Tonight was the second to the last time I will ever set foot on Lowe's property. I received a $250 gift card, and I don't want anything. So I wanted to buy gift cards for other people. They would not let me get smaller denominations of Lowe's cards, they would not let me get gift cards from the display of a wide range of other brands they have on the end cap. I have purchased Southwest Airlines gift cards using Lowe's gift cards in the past 6 months without hassle. Tonight I had some snot-nosed punk of a manager tell me it has ALWAYS been store policy to not allow someone to pay for gift cards with another gift card. Well, guess what twinkle-toes, since such a policy restriction is not written on the card I have, and not written on your company website, that policy does not exist. Period. I cannot believe I spent well over $7,000 in home renovations and appliances through Lowe's in 2018 alone. Never again. Never. read more

We prepaid $118 for a bathroom vent/light/bluetooth combo that was on sale. The man in plumbing said there were 12 in the store but "couldn't find them because night shift stockers are always putting stuff in the wrong place" but he started the process for us to order one. We purchased it at customer service center and was told that it would be delivered to the store in a couple of days. A week later I called and was told there was an issue and a manager, Angel, would call me back. No call ever came. We went to the store and was told they had them but they never held one for us and sold them... So they sold our item and never once contacted us. However they "had one on the clearance table today". They refused to do anything to find something comparable or find a solution so I requested a refund. The lady said they needed an ID but refused to give us a refund with my husbands military ID. This Lowe's is unprofessional, disorganized, and the employees don't know what is going on. read more
