I would give 0 stars if I could.. my elderly mother bought an ac unit from Ollie's without box and missing pieces. I went into and tried to return this item due to their return policy and they absolutely treated me horribly.. I would advise no one so at this company, anywhere nationwide.. I will be going to the news stations regarding my horrible treatment by store managers and customer service.. they hung up in my face several times and directly lied about their return policy. The customer service rep said she wrote the return policy for last 15 years and didn't even know what the return policy says.. I will be doing a boycott on this company and I advise anyone that can read this message to do the same read more

Turns out I really did NEED a bunch of crap. No telling what you will find and it is fun to hunt around. Have not had any problems with anything we have bought. The store in Hixson is MUCH cleaner and nicer than the store near Hamilton Place. Will not shop in HP again. read more

Yes, they have a great selection and good prices, but I've NEVER seen a collection of employees that are ALL depressed and Miserable looking. It was so bad I actually asked two of the employees if they were alright and said "you don't look very happy are you alright ". One young man just said he was tired and then the female just said it's not a happy place to work at. It was so depressing. If it wasn't for the young female working the register, I would have not intended on coming back. But she was extremely sweet and thoughtful when I didn't want to break a $20 for a little change and she covered it. It was as if she was making up for the depressing environment read more

I went to the Hixson Ollie's at about 5:00 on Saturday, June 13, searching for pots for plants. I have no quarrel with the merchandise--this is a hit-or-miss bargain hunt, after all. But I do have an issue with the lack of compliance regarding Covid-19 guidelines. Most customers were not wearing masks (that's their right) and many ignored the 6-foot markings. But the two really disturbing issues were these: (1) the carts had not been pre-sanitized and there were no sanitizer wipes for doing it yourself, and (2) most of the employees were not wearing masks, including the two cashiers. Ignoring basic pandemic precautions may be the culture of the bargain-hunting experience, but I hope that the powers-that-be at Ollie's will take note of and accommodate current health concerns. After all, the store does sell packages of facemasks for only $6.99! read more

Ollies is a good store with some good finds. I like their book selection and if you can compair prices in item's, you can sometimes find thing's a little cheaper. It is always clean and orderly and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend just for somewhere to go browsing. They also have a big rug selection as well. read more

Don't by anything electric. It's usually refurbished. Look for sticker on box. I've gotten items that don't work and many times it will be missing parts and have unknown pieces from other products. I've had to return too many items. Over it! read more

A friend turned me on to Ollie's - excellent suggestion. I have purchased MANY items for my pool area. I purchased 4 glazed pots each standing about 3' tall for $30/ea. These cost well over $100 EVERYWHERE else. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have had. You can pick up chlorine tabs at least $20 below other stores, pool brushes cheap, garden items, outdoor cushions for chaise lounges are around $20, while they're not the 6" foam, they are still very nice and comfortable and for $100 less than Lowe's, totally worth it! I purchased heavy duty PVC garage shelving for $30 each. Cleaning supplies, glade plug-in refills, snacks, health and beauty items - too many things to list. The employees are helpful and on top of the deals they have great coupons. read more
